The library does have a few relevant books. Theres several astrophysics books that do a better job explaining the more scientific concepts brought up in the tome, and Artem even has a few of the obscure texts mentioned having been gifted many eclectic texts over the years. Theres still many that are missing from the search, a few of the texts he would be able to find references to in other texts but those references are limited to noting them as being closely guarded by their secretive keepers

Arts book feels like studying astrophysics, at several points it literally is astrophysics. Theres a suspicious number of magical systems incorporated, and an explanation on the dangers of travel through each. A few examples:

-Using the shadow realm is quick but it is freezing there and can make the unprotected sick or frost bitten.

-Shortcuts through the fae wild are dangerous, unpredictable, and make time dilation a major problem to consider for the unprepared but if you’re tied to a fae and understand how the circles work and where to place them it becomes quite effective lots of walking though so not good for fights.

- Creating wormholes with magic usually require magitech of some kind to stabilize as even the slightest fluctuations in magic such as those caused by the pulse of life can cause it to collapse into a gravity well

Theres no annotations in the book strangely enough. There is however a massive reference section in the back. Some of the texts drawn from are not accessible to the public

He agonized over that book, having been humbled by a tome for the first time in a long while. He might honestly take a break and come back to it every once in awhile. For now though, he organized what he knew and he couldn’t comprehend via color-coded tabs. He took note of the available references and brought that list with him to the manor’s library. Maybe it has some of the private textbooks that were referenced…

The hinges on the gate squeak with a mournful tone before mailbox opens and a letter addressed to a Dr Sweet falls to the ground. The manors gates then start to open slowly, a long squeal explaining the bio prosthetics developed in their walls by the fae who married into their Family

The signal flag on the mailbox lifts to nudge at the mages hand in an action that feels reminiscent of a cat, the fence creaks again, inquiring at his state

The mailbox opens and closes as the manor begins excitedly ‘chattering’ in length about their treatment, about how lively but generally clean their Family is now how much more aware they are now as the magic has seeped into their frame and foundation over the past year. They are so much bigger now then they once were

The buzz of Artems wards can be felt as soon as the guests cross the fence line and once Beaus ring is entered the magic of the faes realm has a tangible feeling to it even to those not in tune with magic.

Theres a line of giant crickets in suits that guide the guests to the grand room of the manor which has already been set up for an evening of partying

-each pin has a tiny sticky note attached indicating which universe it is and any other information that can be provided.

The travel maps: not only do they show an updated version of the danger map but it also allows someone with a travel map to update the danger map(s) by touching them and willing the addition in some way
