What is up tumblr. My hard drive died some weeks ago and it killed my motivation for a while. This is the last thing I was working on before it crashed - Talvi and Lorric sharing a cute moment. Tahist priests don’t let just anyone touch their bare hands! 

I’m trying to get back into the swing of things, so hopefully there will be more artstuffs to come :D

This is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever drawn.

Inspired by an actual event that happened between me and my Swedish beau...did y’all know Swedes put ketchup on everything?? INCLUDING SPAGHETTI??

The only way I’m getting Undertale out of my mind is drawing fan art apparently. So here are some WIPs of a couple pieces I’m picking away at! Work has been busy so I haven’t had a lot of time/energy to spend on these, but they’re coming along!  

Now if only I could work on the second one without laughing every time I look at it...I love ridiculous characters so much.

Motivation

When you can look at a piece of artwork you’ve done recently and not immediately dislike it...

And when you come home to find a bunch of notes on it...

It fills you with determination  ❤

Had to do an actual piece of Undertale fan art that wasn’t completely half-assed, so why not go with my favourite character? My weakness for boney things and terrible puns has been thoroughly exploited by this game.

I like to think those demonic gaster blasters emerge from some temporal rift in spacetime then just vanish into the void once they’ve barfed up their energy. Or maybe I’m just making an excuse for whatever the hell is going on with the background ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tore myself away from GW2 long enough to scan in some sketches of Undyne and Alphys! I think I’ll always be more comfortable sketching traditionally, heh. 

Have I mentioned I love Undyne? Cos I do. I LOVE EVERYONE FROM THIS STUPID GAME THAT HAS TAKEN OVER MY BRAIN.

Figured I should upload some quick Undertale sketches before I become lost in GW2 expansion hell. I’ve got some in my sketchbook too but...yeah GW2 calls. /eyetwitch

I’m gonna work more on Greater Dog! It’s so cute. Also trying to figure out how the weird goat family faces work is a little challenging...

Doodle of my favourite characters from Undertale. I attempted a slightly more... realistic? skull look because the LACK OF A DISTINGUISHABLE JAW on a skeleton makes my eye twitch. Looking at you, Sans. Cheeky bugger. 

Scribbling these guys in my sketchbook is helping me push a more cartoony style, though! I’ve always had trouble with cartoony, so it’s been fun!

Making some progress on that tarot card! Lost some of the sense of motion during rendering, although the queen of swords IS a bit rigid...

In tweaking the design of my Talgarran tarot queen of swords, I inadvertently turned Lorric into pseudo-Shiva. Thought it looked mildly interesting! 

The orientation of the sword is challenging - traditionally it is held upright, but I read that as more defensive and forward than I want for this card. I’m rather more fond of it being horizontal, to indicate balance...like a scale ready for the weights of justice! Yet I don’t like it as much compositionally...

The Boy and the Bow

I finally got around to watching Song of the Sea yesterday and it left me moved and incredibly inspired! So I went and sketched up my little musician Noah. I want to draw more cute things now!

Polychromos pencils on cheap sketchbook paper. I hadn’t intended to colour it, otherwise I’d have used a better paper! Whoops. I added the guitar strings in Photoshop since it was really hard to see the faint white pencil lines.

I am trapped under a loafing corgi so I doodled a pig on my phone. I have no idea how big this image is… Long time no post! I sometimes forget about tumblr…oops.
