I freestyled it! I did the European 4-in-1 as it was the easiest and I started with making the sleeves. I just made sure that my biceps could fit in the sleeves. Nothing is fitted at all so it’s just a collection of chainmail lines that I matched. To connect them I did the same thing by making lines approximately as wide as my shoulders as if I were cutting fabric for a shirt.

Hi! I saw the chainmail top you made and it is beautiful. I would also like to learn but I don't know what diameter to choose for the rings, can I ask you the diameter of the ones you used?

Hey! I used 10mm rings. If I had to do it again, I’d have used a larger diameter and stronger metal I think! It’s pretty easy to learn/do, it’s just really time consuming. I found doing the chainmail to feel like sewing sequins.
