Some writing I did like a year or two back, maybe even more at this point (kinda forgot about it)

Imagine:

A small voice shouts up to you exited, "Daddy! Come play! Come play!" One of your daughters tugs at the bottom of your shirt.

"Oh come on honey, you know I can't play." you relpy.

"But you will daddy, when you can, right?" she mutters.

"Yes baby, yes I will." you whisper as you hug her deeply. She looks up at you again and runs off. Your spouse appears behind you and places a hand on your shoulder.

"You know you can't keep lying to them like that." they say with a mournful tone.

"Please, I just want to see them happy." You force as tears dribble down your face. You wipe them away quickly as you can't let your daughters see you in such a way. You decide that you should play with them, at least one last time.

"Daddy's feeling a bit better now girls!" you say warmly. Your little angels cheer with joy and smile wide.

"You're the monster dad, you gotta get us!" the eldest explains. They all sprint in different directions as you do your best roar. You get to see your girls having fun, smiling and laughing in the sun. Their little dresses flowing in the wind. As the sun peaks in the sky, you feel dizzy. You almost tumble over but hide that fact from your innocent children.

"Daddy's tired now, alright?" you force through grit teeth.

"Aww, you can't play anymore?" the youngest whines.

"Shh, let him rest. He's gotta be strong to be the monster again!" the eldest explains hopefully.

"Come, sit down, please." your spouse begs. Your legs give out as you flop onto the chair. "We have to take you to the hospital." they say is a sorrowful voice. You can’t object since the light fades from your eyes.

Time passes while your asleep, but it feels like a second to you. Light shines it's way into your soul, then your eyes. Like a blessing from God, you can see your family sitting next to you as you lay in a medical bed.

"Dad, you said you'd be okay, you'll be okay right?" she cries but, not alone. You see your whole family, weeping.

"Please dad, you can't go! We need you!" another cries out. But, your vision fades as your blessing gets taken away just as it was given. The last thing you see was your beautiful daughters, all crying in front of a beautiful sunset. Their tears falling to the floor as the sun casts rainbows through their tears. Their gorgeous brunette hair flowing about in the breeze of the air-conditioner. It's all so beautiful, but it breaks your heart.

You've been sick for a while now but, you aren't sick anymore. The last thing you feel is the tight grip of your lover as you fade away.

You couldn't ask for a better end.

I was high off my ass last night and had this dream where I was in this dense ass forest and sitting there was a tall woman. She was so tall I couldn’t see her face but she was wearing gold and I was like “uh…hi?” And she said “I made you, do you know that?” And I nodded and she was like “I hear your thoughts. Why do you hate my creation? Why do you try to destroy yourself? I made you perfect as you are. Please don’t break my heart”. Then she started crying and it flooded and I woke up with fucking heart palpitations like what does it Mean™️????
