I don't expect this to get much love or attention. It's an AU of the Tatooine Rhapsody episode from Visions 1. It was my favorite episode from that project. This one is purely for my enjoyment because I can't get it out of my head.

The bounty hunter had ushered Geezer halfway to his ship. And his lightsaber could only produce sparks. He could let Geezer go and keep his identity hidden. He could keep the rest of the band in the dark about who (what) he really was. But Geezer deserved better. He wasn’t going to let him be taken back to Tattooine and the Hutt Empire. 

Jay took a deep breath and reached. It was hard, slow. Like clogs in a drain blocking the water from running freely. But the Force was there. If he could just touch it he wouldn’t need his lightsaber. He needed to save his friend. Jay felt the warmth just on the outside of his mental reach. The words of his master echoed in his mind. The familiar words resonated deep in his soul, almost like his master was standing right behind him. “The Force is in everything. You don’t need to reach for something you already are filled with.”

I’m watching Splash (1984) which is a romcom about a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and when she chooses a human name she chooses Madison and guy says “that’s not a real name, but alright” which seems to imply that Madison was not a name until at least the 80’s and all girls named Madison are actually named after the mermaid. thought you should know

Sometimes when I’m down, I remember that scene at a convention when Leonard Nimoy and De Kelley are reading fanfiction to the audience, and they pause at a scene to remember the destroyed Enterprise and place their hands over their hearts

and De does a double-take, skips over to Nimoy, and fixes his hand so it’s on his lower ribcage, where the vulcan heart actually is, and then goes back to his spot and remarks something like “I should know I’m his doctor” and continues on.

Mimmi wasn’t sure how else to help her brother. At least on land. Once they got him to the pod, they would be able to focus on next steps. But everything relied on getting him safely to Mako. She hoped that the moment he was in the water, the fight would be over. But she had a really bad feeling that the Australian government wouldn’t let them get to Mako so easily.

Glen, a young male Australian fur seal, barked at Mimmi. He had been found on the beach with a torn flipper and not able to get himself back into the water. He was large, but not yet old enough to be on his own and fending for his own territory. 

Mimmi quickly diverted and made her way over to his enclosure. “Hey, Glen. Feeling better today?”

Glen burbled and rumbled at her. 

“That’s good to hear. My brother is doing okay, thanks for asking.”

The seal pulled himself out of the water and bounced along the cement towards Mimmi, huffing and barking as he approached.

“Yeah, we are getting him ready to leave. He’s not really able to walk on his own. He still has a fracture that isn’t healed. But, the pod can take care of him.”

I read a vampire!obi-wan fanfic by ao3 user himboskywalker and couldnt get the idea of vampire obi-wan refusing to drink blood out of my head 😵‍💫

the art doesn't depict an actual event from the fic (obi-wan doesnt get tied up or forced to drink blood cos the fic is very sensual top!obiwan vibes in case this is misleading), but my god its so good, i was highkey flustered
