UNLIMITED GRACE
July 25, 2014
RUTH
It was again, my WorldLit subject when I first read the book of Ruth. It was short, tho but full of learning.
Well, my professor didn't discuss about values or sort of things. It was more on symbolism, but during the discussion, my thoughts seemed so clouded with so many ideas and realization that would like to fathom more.
Why I entitled this one as Unlimited? It's because of Ruth that was favored by the Lord.
In first book of Ruth is was told that Ruth's husband died and so Naomi (the mother of Ruth's husband) has to go back to her land and she was making her daughters-in-law to do thesame and find for a new husband for she cannot bear another and it will take a long time.
But then Ruth insisted to come with her.
Ruth is loyal and kind woman. She worked in the grain field for her and to her mother-in-law, and she was seen by Boaz. And Boaz let her work to the field for her goodness and sufficiency.
Before, it's their tradition and culture that when your husband died, you have to marry anyone who's relative to your husband. (the closest) And Boaz happened to be related but there's more closer relative but resist the marriage with Ruth. So Boaz took the responsibility and marry Rut. (Ruth slept on his feet)
You see, how the Lord pours His grace? Ruth became a widow, got nothing but her mother-in-law (which is not really related by blood) but she still remained loyal and kind to her. She was able to work in grain field and support themselves. Boaz favored her and let her received for more.
Ruth is a Moabite, and she once a pagan. Ruth came from Israel's one most hated enemies. Ruth was undeserving, but look how grace worked. Boaz still took her as his responsibility and Boaz is accountable for her. The grace is unlimited. God's grace is sufficient.
People, we are like Ruth. We are undeserving. But the unlimited grace of the Lord made us worthy of gift that only the Lord can give. You might ask how and why, but if you cannot understand, soon you will. But for now, we just have to believe.
Lord, thank You for everything. Thank You even though we are not deserving, You still pour out your unlimited grace to us. Thank You, Father.
God bless!

PATIENCE
July 23, 2014
James 5
James 5:7
"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains."
We are always in hurry. Especially those people in the urban. Traffics, buildings, crowd..everything seems progressing. But the Lord told us to be patient.
God's timing is accurate and perfect. He knows when to action.
In prayers, we wait for an answer. As we wait, the Lord is also preparing us for the His comeback.
Patience here in James five is not about patience of doing simple things. But patience of suffering.
Job is known for being patient. Not just steady patience but patience in suffering. Remember how things went wrong? He lost everything, his companion, family and even got a disease but he remained faithful and patient.
You, too my friends. We should learn to be patient in suffering. Whatever you're facing right now, whatever those loaded you're carrying, just remain still and wait for God's return.
He is coming soon, friends! Let's welcome Him back soon with rejoice in our hearts as we wait for Him.
God has own timetable, nothing worry. It's always perfect.

Forgiven Forgives
July 22, 2014
Mark 14
Mark 14 talks about The last supper Jesus being arrested, the Denial of Peter, and other more parts.
But do you remember in verse 72?
"Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept."
I've been thinking, Peter is very trusting and loving disciple. Every instances with God, he surely treasured.
But then he was still able to disown God. Not once but thrice. Though I know it was written but then the Lord knew Peter's heart.
But then I realized, it's all about forgiveness.
I can still remember how Peter cut the ear of one of those High priest servants. Peter is quite stubborn, I must say. But then he was still favored and loved by the Lord.
We all commits mistake that once we promised that we will never do. We don't know what will happen. One day, we might be very foolish and wicked, or the other day we might be righteous. It's all in the will and how we put it into actions.
We may hurt people around us. And they may be forgiving or not. But the Lord is very forgiving God. I pray that it could be extended into us, and be practiced by us.
My friends, we commit lots of sins, we repent yet we repeat. We disappoint Him our actions yet He still loves us.
Give it a time, people. Think how good our Lord is.
We wounded Him terribly with our evil ways but what amazing is that Jesus still loved and forgave us.
He can always do that for everyone. He can and He will. Surrender everything, people.
And as the Lord forgives us, we should also forgive other people who hurt or sin against us. For the forgiven forgive. God bless!

Does the Lord Forget?
July 21, 2014 Isaiah 49
Zion once said: “The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.”
My friend, have you experienced being hopeless? Feeling down? Forsaken? Forgotten?
Do you have a problem that seems impossible to solve? That it seems forever and your prayers are still unanswered?
In verse 15-16:
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! 16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me."
I can still remember when I was young, my mother used to bring me something every time she arrive home from her work. She has never forgotten me, us. (my brother) Foods, dress, slippers and some hair clips those are the things I usually get from her. You know, a mother will always be a mother.
A mother in nature. Never forgets her offspring. Always steadfast and compassionate. Can't resist her own little ones.
But then, eben she may forget..but the Lord won't.
I tell you, everyone tends to fail. Everyone tends to forget. We're not perfect to remember all things in proper. But The Lord will never forget us. He will never.
So my friend, how hopeless you are, how heavy your loads are, and how miserable and deserted you feel. Always remember this: The Lord never forgets you. For he has written your name on the palm of His hands.
Dear Lord, may you bless us oh God. We know that you'll never forget us and we ask that you may help us not to forget about you. Guide us Lord to lean in your holiness. Thank You Lord.
God bless!

WISDOM
July 18, 2014 Job 28
Tumblr media
It was my World Literature subject and my professor asked us to read Job 28. And then he asked us how do we define wisdom?
My classmate said knowledge, he somehow accept but he said it's not the right answer.
I said, it's about righteousness and being just in accordance of great knowledge. He accepted it, too but not entirely.
Then one of my classmates said that wisdom is knowing what is right and what is wrong. He accept it, too but like mine, not entirely.
I can still remember what he said:
"If you say wisdom is about knowledge, then you can say that all who study garner wisdom? I don't think so. If you say wisdom is about righteousness and if wisdom is about knowing right and wrong then why those who we think are knowledgeable of what's right and wrong can still commit same mistake like those who are ordinary?"
That made me think, and made me realized lots of things.
He asked us to read again Job 28 and tell us where those wisdom may get:
In Job 28, it says that other people think that wisdom could get from wealth or in material things.
"1 There is a mine for silver and a place where gold is refined. 2 Iron is taken from the earth, and copper is smelted from ore."
But what's the real wisdom?
We cannot say that being wealthy is tantamount to being wise.
We cannot say that studying can consider always wise. People could study but not all of them are wise.
My professor said:
"Decision making is also part of wisdom. Choosing how to use your wisdom is a choice."
People may use their wisdom in evil ways. People may use in good ways.
The last verse of the chapter revealed what's the real wisdom.
Job 28:28 “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”
Wisdom is the act of fearing the Lord. How?
Once we fear the Lord we ought not to sin. We ought not to be wicked. We ought to know what's right and wrong. We ought to know what's more right and not just right. If you fear the Lord, you also love Him.
And if you love him, you'll do what's His will. And His will is always rejoice into goodness and not in evil.
Fearing God is wisdom. Departing from the evil is understanding. It's not just about knowing it. It's understanding.
I remember my prof last statement to us:
"If wisdom is about knowing what's right from what's wrong then why those people who we thought that know what's right commit same mistake like those who don't know? I tell you folks, If you fear and love the Lord so dearly, and that's the time the wisdom will come."
Dear Lord, I pray that you may touch our hearts. That you may hold us Oh Lord, so that we may live into your wisdom. May we understand what's your will and what's proper. May we rise from adversities and use our wisdom for the goodness. Thank You Lord.
God bless!

Pride - Humility - Forgiveness
July 16, 2014 Genesis 50 “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?” — Genesis 50:19
So, this is the third time that I'm doing this random verses devotion. But it seems I was stuck here in Genesis. I read this certain verse, Genesis 50:19.
It was actually in KJV so I got quite confused, so I read the entire chapter in NIV.
Joseph was being..how can we called this. Bullied? His brothers used to hurt him. They do lots of bad things to him. He was being destructed in process but totally not happened.
Then it happened, their father died. And his brothers were so afraid to him that he might plan a revenge to them.
But what Joseph did? Well, he could fight back. He could fire back those ruthless and cruel words. He could take revenge. He could.
But he didn't.
Instead he said on verse 19-21: 19 “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.
Nowadays, we cannot do such things. Not that we can't, but no one will. Being persecuted, hurt, bullied is not what we wanted. But do you imagine yourself forgiving those who hurt you and made you broken without being disgruntled?
Of course there will be part of yours that you'll feel sullen and grudging. But how about Joseph? Did he felt that way?
Pride and scars always stop us to live in humility. And to forgive.
As long as you see those scars that made you broken, you cannot forget the things they've done. As long as they marked on you, you cannot take down your pride. As long as that pride is in you, you cannot forgive. You cannot.
But dear, I tell you. Joseph took those things, took everything that his brothers have done to him..positively.
He said:
"God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."
God intended if for good. He took it for good without hesitation, and that's living in humility. That's living in forgiveness.
People, I tell you honestly, I'm guilty of this story, of this chapter. It always takes time for me to forgive people. Though it's normal that it takes time, but being disgruntled throughout the process of forgiveness makes me guilty.
And I pray that the Lord may change me for the better. Let's pray for each other that we may love in humility and not in pride. That we may learn to forgive unconditionally like how Joseph did and like how our Father doing..every single time. God bless!

How To Resist Temptation
July 15, 2014 Genesis 39
So, this is the second part. I learned that in every verse or chapter in the Bible can produce different outline or teachings. And I'm glad that I would be able to this. Usually, I just focus to what I think the verses all about without critically thinking the other factors.
Genesis 39 not just only talks about how the Lord stay with Joseph through ups and downs. But this one also talks about temptation.
Reading through Genesis 39, I wasn't able to recognize the title of the passage. It says something about Potiphar's Wife.
Let me just tell the story. Potiphar favor Joseph for he the Lord is with Joseph. He entrusted the household to Joseph, everything. But then, Potiphar's wife noticed Joseph. Well, Joseph is well-built back then, and the wife asked Joseph to sleep with her. But Josephn refused her. But then one day, the wife asked him again to come and sleep with her, he still refused but the wife caught him with his cloak, so Joseph ran away and left his cloak to Potiphar's wife and everything fell. Potiphar's wife told lies and Joseph was in prison.
You see how Joseph resisted the temptation? In verse eight to nine he said:
“With me in charge, my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”
I don't know actually what to say as I read it, but Joseph is truly brave (in a way that he resist it) and righteous (for he knows what is right and just in the eyes of the Lord).
I can say in this generation, if a man is asked by a woman to sleep with her, he will surely fail to resist. Especially if the woman is firm, has a nice body, and beautiful. Teenagers always reasons out "hormones" but no, it should not be like that.
As long as we know what's right, we should know how to put it into actions, too.
But how can we actually resist temptation? I've been researching about it. And I found lots of site supplying ways but doesn't pass my thoughts.
But then I browse random sites and photos, and made up my thoughts.
Ways to resist temptation:
First and foremost, you should accept to yourself that being tempt is in our human nature. We should accept that we may fail, we may falls shortly because of our evil desire.
(Check James 1:14)
Second, we should stay out from trouble. Most of the time, we are being tempted because in every trouble that could cause temptation, we are there. You don't want to smoke, drink alcohols or do drugs, but you go to place where those things are abundant like bars, club and some othe other places that may cause you to be sinned.
Third, always put down your pride. You cannot always trust yourself. Even how much we say "NO" there will always be part of us that are willing to commit sin. Even you say NO for the 99th time, but you could also be failed to say NO for the 100th time..And everything will go wrong in just a simple mistake. Remember that we are weak. Even how strong your faith and soul are but our flesh is naturally weak. Always remember that.
Fourth, run away from temptation. The best way to resist it is to run away like how Joseph did. Remember? He ran away from Potiphar's wife (temptation). But people, I tell you: He just not ran away..not just like that. We all know that the Lord is with Him. He run to God. We should run to God.
Fifth, resist temptations with the Word of the Lord and pray. The Word of the Lord is alive and active. Always read every single time. Pray for it will put you also in shape.
Sixth, get help. Once you fail, confess and repent. The Lord is very forgving for you not to repent. But don't take everything for granted. Get help in a way that you should not always depend to yourelf. Depend to the Lord, people. Always.
I pray Oh Lord that you may guide our hearts and minds. Hide in our hearts our God so that those sins and temptations will vanish in Your name. Help us Oh Lord as we run to you every time we're facing troubles. Let us hold to you Oh God, as we take our journey with You.
God bless!

Deserted No More
July 14, 2014 Genesis 39
I have this habit of reading randomly. Jumping chapters and verses. People might say I'm being ridiculous, but doing it somehow makes me happy.
While browsing the Bible, I stopped somewhere in Old Testament. Then I got my new devotional book guide. During scanning, I saw a particular verse which is Genesis 39:2. But It was cut short so I have to read it more.
Anyway, let me tell this little story of mine. I've been taking Hermeneutics for almost a month, and my instructor (churchmate) is really exerting effort for us. And I'm learning a lot.
While reading the whole passage of Chapter 39, my mind has been torn between the thought of temptation and thought of the verse two.
So let me write about the verse two first.
Do ever feel deserted? Joseph..by the time that his master put him into prison because of the false accusation, he should feel alone nd betrayed. But he didn't feel those.
Verse 21 said: "the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden."
The Lord is with him. One statement yet so powerful.
But before those things happened, before his master put him into prison, it already shown how the Lord stay with Joseph.
Verse two: "The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master."
In verse 23 it once again stated: The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did."
How many times it was written that the Lord was with him? Lots.
Joseph was highly favored and loved by God. And there's no doubt about that. There's nothing odd about that for Joseph has pure heart. Joseph knows what's right and wrong. Joseph has been a very great and faithful servant to the Lord.
So people, don't ever feel alone. You maybe be alone socially—no friends or whatever. But emotionally and spiritually, you're grand!
The Lord will always be with you. As long as you're with Him. You know what I mean. You cannot feel His presence if you're not allowing Him to do so. Surrender, and accept the Lord in your heart—life.
You'll never feel alone or deserted. You will be filled with His love and grace. In times of troubles, always hold on to the Lord like how Joseph did. And He will embrace you and comfort you.

Jesus isn't cool. WAIT..WHAT?!
June 5, 2014 John 3: 19-20
Nowadays, people (mostly the teens) be like.. OMG IT IS FREAKING ONE DIRECTION?! WHAT THE IT IS TAYLOR SWIFT WE'RE TALKING! OMYGAAAD KATY PERRY IS SOOOO COOL!
What about Jesus, guys?
June five, two thousand and fourteen. I watched The Fault In Our Stars in cinemas. Well, I am really fond of the book and when I heard that there will be a movie adaptation I freaked out and got excited.
I really love the story of the book/movie so I want to the mall at 10:00 in the morning and bought ticket for the very first ever screening here in Philippines. That's how dedicated I am. While watching, I can't keep myself from smiling. I cried a lot, laugh and felt grand.
When I got home, I started tweeting like retard, and I don't know what to feel, really. But I know my limitations, tho. I know when to stop, I know who to idolize. Yes, I like Ansel the "Gus guy" in the movie but still, he will never be my light. The Lord will always be my light.
But then I rechecked my tweets and think I went further. I tweeted for almost idk times about TFIOS and I was like.. OH DEAR, THIS IS BAD.
My friend always quoting to me a bible verse..saying: You cannot serve two masters.
Well, it's about money and God but it also applies here. You cannot idolize two idols. Only one..just one. And who is it? Definitely not Taylor Swift or The 1D boys, or Katy Perry or Emma Stone (though I really like Emma). It's not them. It's Jesus, my brothers and sisters.
Yes, you may amaze yourself with their acting skills, voices, dance moves..but those talents came from God. (Do you remember the parable about that?)
So the who must be idolized is our Lord. He got it all. The power, the faith, forgiveness and grace! All in one God.
Maybe people will say, they are cool. They are being actual. They sing and act well, Jesus can't.
Imagine this..
What if those actors became very dedicated to the Lord? They will share Gospels and all..will that make them LESS cool? Definitely not. They will be major cool.
Okay. We're just being afraid to be judged. You're scared to be called the "goody goody" or "prude" or whatever, but hey, what's wrong with that? Just be yourself. Don't be ashamed! Atleast there will be a guaranteed eternal life after this. :)))
Honestly, I love doing my church activities more than other wordly activities. It's not boring..it is just on how you perform it..it's just on how sincere your heart to do it.
Pray for it, guys.

THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK
June 4, 2014 James 3:1-12
Tongue is the most powerful muscle in our body according to Science. Literally, it can push down our foods in our mouth, it is flexible, yes, it's powerful. But tongue is powerful, too accroding to the Holy Bible.
Jame 3:5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.
Without tongue, we cannot eat, and we cannot talk. Talk produces sounds. Sounds composed of tones and words.
And words can be good or hurtful.
In James 3:9 we can say that our tongue rejoices and used in goodness.
We used our tongue to sing praises to the Lord, to glorify His name. To share His Words, to make disciple. To teach. It gives the free access to say whatever we want but we should be careful. Because by the use of our tongues, we can curse, we can hurt people..maybe not physically but emotionally. And emotional pain is hard to heal.
I definitely don't know what's happening in this generation..where I belong. Comedies nowadays consists of foul words and hurtful statement to someone or something. People are not anymore insterested with those witty and good jokes and it's upsetting because they're rejoicing in evil.
In movies, bullying is one of the most normal scenes in HS events. Those big guys will bully this "weak" guy and they will laugh to that weak guy..and that guy will just cry because he can't do anything. Really? They bullied the guy and they laughed? Why? Because the guy got hurt? Because the guy cry? So being hurt and crying is funny now? I don't know but this is very devastating.
Yes, somehow I cracked jokes but those were knock knock jokes, maybe those were corny kind of jokes but who cares? I'm happy with those simple jokes.
I've been crying this to the Lord. I hope people will stop bullying others. Or gossiping around. Or saying insult and hurtful words to someone. It's not like that..we're not made to hate or insult other people. We're made to love our fellows.
So let's pray for these.

THINGS ABOVE
June 3, 2014 Colossians 3:2-3
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. "
I've been reading lots of articles these past few days and I really love the fervr.net.
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
When I was in elementary, I used to buy magazines and collect them. HSM Magazines, K-Zone Mag, CandyMag, Winx Club Mag, Hannah Montana. I don't know why but I feel good with those stuffs. Then I got addicted to HSM and I collected different DVDs, I bought their posters, HSM Tshirts designs, bags, and other stuffs.
Then my mom told me that I'm wasting my money to nonsense things but I ignored it. When I was in High school, I got bored with HSM and I didn't feel like having those stuffs anymore because it's not mainstream anymore. Then my mom gave me a bookmark but it has a bible verse on. And it's Colossians 3:2. And it happened.
I'm being aware now of what I'm going to buy if it's for good or what. But it's not always material things tho. Even it comes to your appearance.
Before I hated to see my nose because they're not pointed but then again..Colossians 3:2. It doesn't matter. It never matters when it comes to the Lord. What He sees is our hearts.
And those things..those tangible things are not worthy in heaven. We should always set our eyes to what's for above. Like what? Our spiritual life and needs. Our emotions and wisdom. Our steady heart. Those matter.
Appearance? No. Beauty fades. You cannot do anything about it. And when the time comes, and we're already with God in heaven, you wouldn't mind your appearance because we're in spirit and truth. You don't need money, cars, house..because everything is provided and satisfying when in comes to the Lord. He will provide everything to you.
So don't worry if your nose is not pointed, or if your chest is flat. Don't worry if you're not as cool as your other friends because all you have to do is to let your fire burns within you to serve the Lord with all your heart.
DON'T FOCUS ON THINGS THAT ARE PERISHABLE.

FOREVER GRATEFUL
June 2, 2014 Psalm Nine
I wasn't able to edit my front photos because my Photoshop is not working. And I feel incomplete seeing my blog without those big black circles. But then I hope i will be fixed soon.
I had read Psalms nine but verse one struck me.
I will give thanks to the Lord, with all my heart.
Have you ever thanked the Lord because you just wanted to? The feeling that you just want to thank Him for everything wihout asking for another thing that you ever wanted. You just simply want to thank Him because you're still alive and breathing.
Most of the time, we always tend to forget God's simple good deeds. Well, actually, there's no simple good deeds that God has ever made. It always be a big, grand anD ultimate good deeds and things. The way you breathe and see things now, that maybe a normal thing to you but that's a grand thing, fellow! Just imagine a life without sight or a life that supports by oxygen tank..maybe in that case you may learn to appreciate things.
While browsing some random articles, I saw a picture and there's a quote on it saying: "A person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated."
We all want to be appreciated. We all want to be valued, to feel importan and special. In everything we do, we always do our best because we're expecting people to appreciate us or our work.
That goes with God. Even He's not telling us directly to appreciate all the wonderful things He had done, to ourselves, we should.
I want you to look at yourself, maybe facing the mirror might be a good idea. Look at your eyes. Are they big? Small? Slanted? Be happy, you have eyes and sight while the others don't have. Lood at your nose, pointed or not. Be proud, you can breathe. Look at your ears, are they big like an elephant or small like a baby? Be glad, you can hear while those deaf and mute can't.
There's a lot to be thankful. There's a lot.
Honestly, I'm really an appreciative person. Simple messages or greetings from someone could make my day extra special. I don't know why, but that's how I feed my emotions. I'm not consistent, I always hungry for emotional satisfaction. I don't always have someone to talk to, sometimes I'm talking to my little Minion keychain or even to myself.. I'm not insane, but somehow doing that, I feel good. I'm feel satisfied. But then I learned to talk to God in my prayers..and do you know what He gave me? Ears and understanding. And it leads me to satisfaction..more than satisfaction.
And to tell you, a simple THANK YOU can lead to appreciation and satisfaction.
It applies in everything. With God, with your friends, acquaintances, starngers. It applies to all.
So now, I would like to Thank God for everything and everything consists of waking me up to day, breathing, seeing, hearing, walking, eating..etc.
And I pray for my consistency. I pray for a steady heart.

WONDERFUL
May 29, 2014 Psalm Eight
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at that! Yes, the picture above. Isn't beautiful? Isn't wonderful? Yes, wonderful. That's how we can describe God.
He's wonderful, awesome, great!
When I was in DRT, I can still remember how the sun rises telling us it's a new day to rejoice with the Lord. And every time I see the sun sets, I can feel the warm embrace of the Lord telling me: Another day has passed, have rest, my child and face a new one with me.
The Lord is wonderful in all ways. His grace that made us unworthy worthy. His unfailing love that saved us. His helping hands that touched our hearts. His steadfast heart that assures us.
All the nation will bow before Him. All the living will see His greatness. All His foes will be crashed down. His power and love will conquer us. He will lead us to a better way, to a better life..with Him..eternally.
Trust Him. He's wonderful, and I love Him. I know do, too.

RIGHTEOUS
May 28, 2014 Psalms Seven
Tumblr media
                 Justice.
Nowadays justice is fading. Rich people will always be right, and those poor and innocent people will always be wrong. We're being blinded by the dim light of the society. We're being judge unevenly by those wicked people in authority.
But then, the Lord will always be righteous. He will always be just. He will always manifest a fair decisions. He's the Great Judge.
Those who are wicked will fail their ways. Those who are fool will always be fooled by those cruel and prententious people. They don't know what's righteous, they don't what's good. They don't know anything. They are shallow..and hollow.
The time will come and the Lord will judge the world. The people. Are you wicked? or Righteous? Do you rejoice in kindness or in evil? You cannot pretend for the Lord knows eveything. He knows you even your smallest lies you hide inside your mouth. He knows us. All of us.
But those who take refuge to the Lord, those who trust the Lord, those who love the Lord, those who are wise, you should not be bothered. You should not worry, for the Lord is in you.
Our Lord is a righteous judge, the evil will not prevail on Him. People, you should not be worried, the Lord knows what is what, how is how, who is who. You should not be bothered, for He knows the truth.

WEEP
May 27, 2014 Psalm Six
Tumblr media
Weep (verb) - cry, mourn, shed, wail
Have you done that? Like really weep because it's too much to handle, because it's too hurting, because it's too painful? No exception, fellows. Even you're a guy or a lady who's reading this, I believe you already did.
Maybe not because of serious problem. Not becasue of financial problem, attitude issues, being outcast, being abused or used..
Maybe because you're broken hearted 'coz your boyfriend/girlfriend dumped you. Maybe because your pet died, or maybe because you seriously just don't know why.
Psalm 6:6-7 6 I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. 7 My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.
David is a weeping prophet. He always weep to the Lord. But what's great about weeping is that you always feel renewed. You drawn out everything.
Some people say the crying is for weak. Some people say that a person is crying because he can't do any other thing better than that.
But do you know what's really crying is? You do it because you already handled your problems and pain so much, and you're just resting yourself because after you cry you know you can do better..by the help of our Lord.
I don't like it when they say BOYS DON'T CRY. Or BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY.
Hey, I saw my dad cry, I saw my brother cry. I saw my mom cry, I saw my girl-friends and guy-friends cry. And they are not weak.
Do you also know that crying is also term of acceptance? Well, that's my own version of crying, tho. But it somehow goes that way.
Every time I cry, I'm serving out my emotions, my pain. I'm shedding out my tears because things that happened had already happened. And I can't undo it. I can't replace it. But then I know, I already accept it, and I know with the acceptance inside, I can do better.
When someone you valued and loved the most die, you cry right? You cry because it's painful, because it's too hurtful to believe. But then after crying, you need to accept it. Accept that he/she was gone.
Weeping/Crying/Wailing is not bad. Especially if you cried it out to the Lord. If you cast it out to the Lord. That's one of the best thing you can do. To trust the Lord everything even your greatest weeping.
And do you know what's sweet? It's not the hug that you could get to someone when you cry..but the comfort that you could get when you chose to cried it out to the Lord.
Those heavy loads? It will gone. Those pain and wounds? It will be healed. Those doubts? It will fade.
Don't you ever try to forget Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Come to Him. Cry, pray, weep, wail. He will listen. He will comfort you. He will give you rest.

PRAY
May 26, 2014 Psalm Five
Tumblr media
I'm really blessed every time I read Psalms and every time I feel David's cries to the Lord.
Pray. David always prays. And the Lord always listens. Two words, two verbs. They're connected but not dependent.
You can always pray but God will not always hear you out. Yes, He will listen but will never grant a prayer that is not capable of doing good.
The Lord always listens even you do not pray.
It's wonderful how David depended his life to Lord. How he surrender everything to Him. He trusted the Lord in everything..because he knew that the Lord will never turn him down.
The people said bothering statements to the Lord..to David but they didn't bother. The people refused to follow Jesus, but the Lord is very forgiving.
Prayer..what a powerful thing a man could do. In times of problem, pray. In times of loneliness, pray. In times of joy, pray. In times of pain, pray. In times of gratitude, pray. You could must pray for your enemies, too. You should draw them near to the Lord, for they don't know they're being fooled by the devil.
How many times do you pray in a day? Once? Thrice? A lot? You should know thay no matter what happens, the Lord want you to share it with Him.
You should know even how short or long your prayers are, the Lord will listen.
You should know that even how much trouble you're facing, the Lord is ready to comfort you.
Just come to Him..just pray.
If life is not still fine, if problem still pulling you down, then pray. If just a mere pray don't work, then pray harder. There will be no excuse in praying, always remember that. Even a person without hands or arms or legs or knees could pray. It's not always about the position, it's not about the hands being closed. It's not about the knees being knelt down. It's all about your heart. It's all about the sincerity and faith that you're holding in.
It's about the Lord. It will always be Him.
