I may have unholy thoughts about Shadowheart but I cannot describe the joy it brings me seeing your art of her. She looks so sweet and happy 🥰🥰🥰

Thank you! Here, even more sweetness. We all deserve joy, happiness and softness. Shadowheart’s story resonates with me on many levels, one of them being her learning how to be happy. As she says in the epilogue, “happiness is an active thing”. After living so many years in darkness it is not an easy feat to accept joy and love. I imagine she would fully enjoy the smallest nice things, like tasting pastry, seeing her plants grow, finding beautiful quotes in books, looking at the sunrise, listening to the river sounds while moonlight shines on her. Fully embrace life as it is, with all shades and colours.
