How these women became the luckiest bunch in existance.
Tumblr media
There’s a new anime this winter season that caught my attention an anime that goes by the name of “Quintessential Quintuplets”.
Plot: Japanese Highschool student Futaro Uesugi has achieved excellent grades but leads a difficult life otherwise. No mother, No friends and a father struggling with debts while Futaro and his younger sister Raiha often go hungry. An opportunity arrived itself when the rich Nakano family hired Futaro as a highly paid tutor. But he discovers his five charges — charming identical quintuplets of varied personalities named Ichika Nakano, Nino Nakano, Miku Nakano, Yotsuba Nakano, and Itsuki Nakano — but all of them have 0 interest in studies and gaining grades. Some of the quintuplets are against having an unknown male in their apartment, but Futaro’s diligent tenacity gradually convinces the quintuplets to reduce their attempts to have him poisoned or arrested and to advance their studies. There’s really nothing to say more about this show as it is a very simple and light-hearted one, but there’s something that really grinds my gears about this anime and that is the same reason why I’ve watched this anime in the first place and that is because of the fact that they’re an all-female identical quintuplets.
This average piece of writing will be about how these women are the luckiest bunch in the history of anime. Also, this “Thingy” is all gonna be all about numbers and less about the anime itself and with that aside let’s get straight into it.
Birth rate: Let’s start by knowing what does the word quintuplet really mean. “Quintuplets are each of the five children born into the same mother or birth” Now let me get these straight quintuplets are extremely rare at an intergalactic level in fact according to Multiples of America.org 24 or more quintuplets are born per year in America out of 3,978,497 live births performed which is already 0.0006032428829278997% of all live births performed in the entirety of America. Also, the ratio of triplet and higher order of birth is 5/100,000 which is exceptionally rare and remember it’s “Triplet and higher order of birth” so that already states how rare multiple births are in itself. But that doesn’t stop there my friend we still have a lot more to talk about.
Labor Complications: According to Elliot J.P. (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Arizona) whose data is collected from 36 quintuplet pregnancies 6 pregnancies delivered within 24 weeks of gestation (For those who don’t know gestation means “The process of carrying or being carried in the womb between conception and birth) had no surviving infants whatsoever. That’s all because of preterm labor complications such as but not limited to: • Apnea — A pause in breathing for 20 seconds or more. This is due to a slow heart rate. • Respiratory distress syndrome — A breathing problem most common in babies before 34 weeks of pregnancy. • Intraventricular hemorrhage/IVH — This is bleeding in the brain. • Patent Ductus Arteriosus/PDA — This is a heart problem that happens in the connection between 2 major blood vessels near the heart
AND MANY MORE.
Complications like this make quintuplet pregnancy much more complicated and intricate that it becomes nearly impossible but because we’re humans we found a way to solve these problems. SAY HELLO TO FERTILITY DRUGS!!! These drugs are used for pregnancies around the world for keeping the babies healthy, avoiding pre-term labor complications, etc… But even with the use of these drugs it’s still hard for a quintuplet pregnancy to be successful and it’s even harder for the quintuplets to survive until adulthood and it’s more likely that they will die within their first years. Talking about death let’s talk about the Mortality rate
Mortality rate: Mortality rate means “The state of being subject to death” Therefor mortality rate means “A measure of the numbers of death in a particular population or individual”. According to also Elliot J.P. 253/1,000 pregnancies are successful and only 83 of those survived within the first week, that means 170 pregnancies failed at the delivery or died because of labor complicacy and out of those 83 more or less likely that only 50 or less of them can survive until adulthood without dying. So, in conclusion, it’s more likely that you’re gonna win the lottery 3 times in a row now that number seems to be small but it isn’t considering the fact that the ratio of winning the lottery is 1/10,000,000.
Types of quintuplets: There are 2 types of quintuplets Fraternal (Multizygotic) and Identical (Monozygotic). Fraternal are those that will be different in gender meanwhile Identical is the same. Most of the quintuplet pregnancy are fraternal and it is very rare that quintuplets are identical in the busby quintuplets were the only all-female quintuplets born in America…Yes, it’s that rare and also considering the fact that the Dionne quintuplets. (The Dionne quintuplets are as follows: • Yvonne édouilda Marie- Died 2001 • Annette Lillianne Marie-Allard — Living • Cécile Marie- émilda Langlois- Living • Émille Marie Jeanne Dionne- Died 1954 • Marie Reine Alma Houle- Living
Tumblr media
They are all born at May 28, 1934, at Corbell, Canada in a farmhouse in an unregistered territory)
The Dionne Quintuplets are the only quintuplets known to live into adulthood without a single one dying. Also, I haven’t read a single article about a quintuplet pregnancy that ever happened in Japan in recorded history.
Conclusion: In conclusion Quintuplet births are exceptionally rare as stated and proven as you’ve already read, there’s no argument that these may be the luckiest women to have ever existed in the history of anime and also let’s not forget about Futaro as he is the luckiest man that I have ever seen all because he has a harem, something that I dearly wish to have XD.
Thanks for reading this “Thingy” also I humbly apologize for giving misleading information on my last “Thingy” that I’ve made, I will take all responsibilities regarding that mistake that I’ve made.
Thanks for reading my “Thingy” human I really appreciate it.

Why Isekai is the worst genre as of this day.
Tumblr media
Before we get to the talk about why Isekai is sooooo bad as of today I think that we must have a little knowledge about Isekai itself.
Isekai is a subgenre in anime that’s all about a certain person getting transported, reincarnated, delivered, etc…In a fantasy/another world.
So basically Isekai has been around ever since the first years of anime the time when anime is still practicing its first steps. One good example is Rayearth (1997)
Magic Knight Rayearth focuses on three eighth-grade girls: the tomboyish, headstrong but short Hikaru Shidou (獅堂 光 Shidō Hikaru); the quick-tempered and no-nonsense only child Umi Ryuuzaki (龍咲 海 Ryūzaki Umi); and the intelligent and ladylike Fuu Hououji (鳳凰寺 風 Hōōji Fū). While on a field trip to the Tokyo Tower with their respective schools, the girls find themselves drawn into another world, Cephiro. There they learn that Cephiro is influenced by one’s will and that the Pillar maintains Cephiro through prayer. The girls are then tasked with rescuing the current Pillar, Princess Emeraude, from her abductor, the high priest, and antagonist Zagato, after which they will be returned to Tokyo.
Source: Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Knight_Rayearth
This anime is one of the first isekai’s that came out. But yeah sure it’s good but it’s not enough to awaken the Kraken. Even the world-wide phenomenon, Oscar Nominee, Masterpiece “Spirited away” (2001) isn’t enough. (If you call that an Isekai.)
But not until 2016 when a monster that appeared out of nowhere, a monster that appeared out of nowhere, a monster that devoured the community by storm. A monster that awakens the Kraken. A monster that goes by the name Re: Zero.
Tumblr media
Re: Zero is one of the biggest and — — NO it IS the biggest anime of 2016 all thanks to its intricate story, superb world building, amazing character Introduction, astounding story introduction, and Rem…Yes, it’s Rem the “Best Girl”, The bread and butter of the show, the spotlight of Re: Zero, The woman that made the community crazy.
Tumblr media
Some might even say that the Rem fan craze is bigger than the oreimo waifu wars back in 2013….And this is where it all started.
The start of the “Isekai plague”(2016)
As Re: Zero came out studio “White Fox”  became the “cool kid” and every studio wants to be like him and when I said everyone I mean EVERYONE and so they made their own most of them is complete and utter shit but thanks god some of them are good. But everything turned from bad to worse when Konosuba came out. When Konosuba was released it became an instant hit and captured the heart of basically everyone.
Tumblr media
But since konosuba is pretty weird itself with a little bit of (or maybe a lot) of ecchi thrown in every one tried it in an attempt to outdo Konosuba and even each other.
This is where the “Dark age of Isekai started” (2017- Present)
Now that we are finished going through some background history of Isekai we can finally talk about what really makes Isekai that bad. And believe it or not, there’s only one thing that makes Isekai that bad and that is —
Lack of context:
Context; the parts of something that comes before or follow a word or passage and influence its meaning or effect: They tried to guess the context on what the show meant.
You know after watching Sekai’s since 2016 I have this lingering question in my mind “Just what is the purpose of making this garbage?” and after months of doubt I’ve finally stumbled upon the answer and that is. “Many Sekai’s just completely lost the plot of what they’re doing there is simply no more context anymore.”
Most Isekai’s these days just doesn’t capture the essence of Isekai itself it’s just a presentation of the most futile and pointless work of animation it’s so bad that it comes to a point where it can be called a joke that’s not even funny. Isekai should be this one hell of a genre filled with endless horizons of ideas and possibilities and all we need to do is try to make that idea happen in the best way possible. But that’s not what’s happening instead we got shitty Dere tropes, Tasteless harems and side characters that are mere plaything and cliché concepts.
Everything that comes out of Isekai is just and hot, steaming mess I mean are these studios even trying? Is that the best they can do? There’s nothing that even makes sense anymore it’s all just GARBAGE.
But as of Fall 2018, we finally got 1 anime that stood among the rest an anime that captured the essence of Isekai itself.
Tumblr media
The time that I got reincarnated as slime is an anime about a man that…Died and got reincarnated as a slime. Really that’s it but what makes this show well is it’s world building how it introduced the type of world that our main character is in. Everything is wholesome as is and my god it’s beautiful this show clearly is the one of the best anime not only in its season but also in the entirety of the year itself. It’s so good that it can stand beside Konosuba, Re: Zero and Spirited Away (Again if you call that an Isekai). This anime is considered as finding gold in a dumpster and due to the fact that this anime was released in an age where Isekai is repugnant just makes it a whole lot better and as of now the anime is still running and I DEFINITELY recommend that you watch it!
I’m pretty sure that this anime will go down in history as the anime that marked the end of the “Dark ages of Isekai” and bought “The age of light” (Ok that was a bit edgy)
Believe it or not, Isekai can still get over its slump and make a bigger comeback in the industry as a better sub-genre and as of Winter 2019 we’re seeing some promising shows that I think will be a big hit this year and my oh my it’s a good start! and the fact that a slime started it all just makes it better.
I hope I truly hope as an anime fan that Isekai can finally make its comeback as one of the greatest subgenres in existence.
Hey you guys thanks for reading! I really appreciate it if you send me some feedback I would love to hear your opinion on my writing as it will help me improve and be a better writer :) please feel free to reach out to me via Email [email protected] Again thanks for reading and don’t forget to wait for my next piece! Bye!!!

Why RomComs are becoming worse and worse.
Why RomComs are becoming worse and worse
Rom Coms has been a staple in the anime industry ever since the beginning and it’s the root of countless masterpieces like Toradora, Nisemonogatari, Nisekoi, Bakemonogatari and so on and so forth. Rom Coms has been around since the first years of anime giving us joy and warms our cold hearts with the burning love that we witness in a certain show but as the clock ticks. The days pass. The seasons change. The year says goodbye and a new one arrives at our doorstep. Rom-Coms is slowly becoming stern and bland and sometimes lifeless. It never was the same thing as it is back then in what I would like to call the “Golden Years of Rom-Coms 2006–2012” because back then RomComs are entertaining and enticing to watch but as more and more anime of the same genre existed it became worst and worst as the one before it. It simply Is depressing I mean it’s so hard to find a good one it’s like finding gold in piles of garbage.
So why exactly are Rom-Coms slowly becoming garbage? Well, in my opinion, it’s a matter of 2 things; Repetitiveness and Cliches.
Repetitiveness:
2019 has arrived at our doorstep and finally, we can take a look back at 2018 and say “Wow that was one hell of a year!” Yes, that is very true especially when it comes to the anime industry because we got big hits like a place further than the universe, Bunny Girl Senpai, My hero academia S3 and many more but what do you notice? The Rom-Com genre didn’t make a huge impact not even the tiniest bit why oh why? BECAUSE WE SEE THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN THERE’S NOTHING NEW. In every single Rom-Com that I watch, I always see the same dere tropes, same tease, same cliffhanger confessions, same everything I mean this can’t be the peak of the creator’s creativity right? I mean I don’t even think they are trying.
Rom-Coms are supposed to have endless possibilities, horizons of fresh ideas and all you have to do are reach out for it. Every Rom-Com that I’ve watched Is a carbon copy of the other we don’t see anything unique it’s monotony at it’s finest.
 Clichés:
A cliché mean a phrase or concept that lacks original thought and boy does Rom-Coms use Cliches? Yes! Clichés have been a staple to Rom-Com genre and I can proudly say that I’m sick of it it’s just not interesting anymore I mean it could be interesting when the execution of the cliché is good but for most of the time, it’s bad leaving the cliché like a fish in a dessert. So what exactly are these clichés? Well, I made a list of the most common ones.
 That shy person  “Innocent” main character  Useless side characters  Women falling head over heels to a guy for some reason  Someone making a bet about a potential love interest  Women making an over-the-top romantic gesture that the MC hardly know  Cliffhanger confessions  The “Dere” trope  Childhood friend never wins EVER  That one bastard that always clings to the MC  Endless Tease  Shitty stereotypes  The “best friend” of the MC that’s just a nuisance
See these are only some of them there is still a TON of it. So how exactly do these clichés affect the genre’s overall appeal to the audience, well it’s because that these clichés is so overused that our brain just strives for something new and unique and don’t get me wrong these clichés can actually do something good to a series as long as the execution is good just like what Nisekoi did with the Dere tropes. So ‘Good execution is everything’ is everything is what I should say but we hardly see that in Rom-Coms as most rom-com’s are light-hearted but that isn’t the case the case is that most Rom-Coms aren’t even interesting in the first place due to plot and lack of basically everything that is considered important in an anime.
(These 2 aspects are one of the many reasons why Rom-Coms are getting worse but they seem to be the most important ones out of all of them)
So is there any way to stop the Rom-Com slump? Well yes, of course, there’s always a way and that is Bringing something new, Something something that will entice the viewers in one way or another.
One great example of a unique take to Rom-Com genre is a show called “Ore Monogatari” this anime is not your typical Romance-Comedy shit-show all because this anime tells us the unlikely love story that most of us can easily relate to but doesn’t fall to the common cliché cliff.
Gouda Takeo is very tall, muscular and has a face that will frighten supposedly everyone. But despite his appearance, Takeo is a very kind and selfless man, quickly helping others without a second thought. His life is filled with Bro-mance but all of that changed after one fateful day.
Yamato Rinko was the girl whom Takeo saved from a molester in a train and from that given moment she developed feelings for Takeo in which people might think as highly unusual given to her pretty face and slender body compared to Takeo’s physical over-all.
This show only shows that love works its magic on basically anyone. Regardless of their physical attribute or personality, love always finds it’s a way.
Now let me tell you this anime is not perfect but it resembles a good Rom-Com because it has a good plot mixed in with good character and story development that most Rom-Coms doesn’t have. Everything is light-hearted but it doesn’t come to a point that it feels bland and lifeless like the others.
Rom-Coms are one of those genres that left an impression on everyone because it’s the genre that most of us started with and I think the Rom-Com genre is one of if not the most promising one because of it’s limitless possibilities the only thing you have to do is make that possibility a reality.
After the long winter of Rom-Coms, I think that the anime industry finally has to come up with something that will bring heat into the cold dead heart of Romance-Comedies because as of this day Rom-Coms has been on a slump something that can be a reason to cease the Genres existence once and for all.
Thanks for reading I’m terribly sorry for the 2 weeks to delay it’s all because of Christmas and new year preparation but all is good now and I promise to release a new article, blog or review (I really didn’t know what I’m making at this point) every week! So stay tuned!

Why Mai Sakurajima is called “Best Girl”
Tumblr media
(Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai)
Why Mai Sakurajima is called “Best girl”
As the fall season comes to an end and a warm welcome from the winter season greets us there’s a topic that stands out among the rest and that is “Who is the best girl of the fall season?” and I think the answer is pretty obvious I mean let’s be honest here ladies and gents who can contest the infamous Mai Sakurajima from one of my favorite show of the season “Bunny Girl Senpai”
If you still don’t know what the anime is about well it’s all about “Puberty syndrome” and it’s victims. This anime is less about the story and more about character development (which they’ve done an astounding job of)Mai Sakurajima is one of the victims of “Puberty Syndrome”. If you haven’t watched the anime yet make sure to put it on the #1 spot on your watch list because it’s one heck of a show.
So in this article, I’m gonna talk about why Mai Sakurajima is one of “The best girl” in the fall season.
In my perspective, there are 2 main factors which explains why people consider her as The waifu of the fall season and those factors are; Physical and Inner beauty.
Physical beauty:
“Physical attractiveness is the degree to which a person’s physical features are considered aesthetically pleasing or beautiful. The term often implies sexual attractiveness or desirability, but can also be distinct from either. There are many factors which influence one person’s attraction to another, with physical aspects being one of them. The physical attraction itself includes universal perceptions common to all human cultures, as well as aspects that are culturally and socially dependent, along with individual subjective preferences.”
-Some dude who decided to make a wiki page a bout beauty
As you can see physical beauty it the thing that in many cases attracts humans subconsciously through the sight of certain physical factors such as curves, youthful appearance, full breast, height, facial symmetry, so on and so forth. But what kind of physical features that Mai Sakurajima has? What makes her physically attractive?
Mai Sakurajima looks…Normal like a real human being. No exaggeration, no over-sized breast, no over the top hairstyles. She just looks normal she dresses formally in certain occasions, she doesn’t wear those extravagant clothes that looks like a sack when you wear it, She has a slender, well defined body she doesn’t have a weird hairstyle rather she has a normal and simple hairstyle with a Bunny hair clip in it (In which I believe is already trademarked). All in all, she is simple, we found beauty in simplicity.
“Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depends on simplicity” ~ Plato
Simplicity is the basis of beauty anything simple and exquisite is enough to make us say “WOW!” We notice in our everyday lives that being simple is sometimes better than being extravagant whether it is on makeup, accessories or things that enhance oneself it is sometimes better to keep it simple. This is where Mai Sakurajima kicks in it’s because of the fact that her character design is kept simple yet exquisite it became something that stood out among the rest. But if you kept it simple sometimes it becomes bland, stoic and sometimes it even becomes painful to watch and Mai isn’t bland and stoic because of her personality her “inner beauty”.
Inner Beauty:
Also known as Personality is what makes the most part of Mai’s entire persona. Her personality is the reason why she’s the bread and butter if the anime, the reason why she’s the best girl. So what exactly is Mai’s personality, well first things first who is Mai Sakurajima?
Mai Sakurajima is the female protagonist of the show. She is a notable actress and model, who Is also a 3rd-year student at Minegahara High School. Mai found early fame as a model, actress, and magazines, due to the fact that her mother runs a photographing agency. Mai was having lots of fun in show business until one moment in the time left an expression in her life. During her middle school days she is forced to wear a swimsuit for a photo shoot and because of this, she realized that she is only used as a tool in order for her mother to make a profit and took a hiatus as a way to get at her mother.
This is the background history of Mai as you can see it’s not all happy times and she went through a cold realization of how cruel the world really can be at an early age.
Mai’s personality is a polite but serious individual especially Sakuta Asuzagawa, she often responds to Sakuta’s lewd remarks by stepping on his foot, pinching his cheek, so on and so forth but despite all of this she can be flustered easily and the fact that Mai is acting as a senior therefor she acts superior but can easily get flustered is undeniably adorable. Mai is a surprisingly mature thinker considering her age she looks at life at a different perspective and that perspective is “Living life the way that you want to live it” for me this is an interesting take on a character that we’ve never seen for a long time.
The personality of Mai Sakurajima is what I think what made people love her because she’s unlike the others she’s not a tsundere, dandere, yandere, kuudere, etc….My point here is that she’s human she acts like one, she’s not like one of those characters that are just unrealistically made, characters that fall head over heels to some guy that they don’t share a relationship with or the characters that acting bitchy in every way imaginable for no exact reason.
Mai Sakurajima for me is one of the most realistically made character in the history of anime.
These 2 factors are what I think made Mai Sakurajima “Best Girl of the Fall Season”.
Closing remarks:
Thank you for reading my article I really appreciate however if you want to send criticism please comment down below it would really make my day to hear other people’s opinion about my writing and on what aspects I can improve in.
