The drawing I made shows the 7 barriers to effective communication. 1) Physical Barrier is shown here in the drawing. The girl from the Philippines sends a message to a guy in America. It takes time for the message to be sent to him. 2) Physiological Barrier is shown here. The grandpa can't really hear what his granddaughter is saying. 3) Emotional Barrier is also shown here. The first guy outside the wall is shown to be scared and does not trust people easily. 4) Language Barrier is shown here. There are 2 examples. The first picture shows a doctor saying a word called AMBLYOPIA or lazy eye, which is unfamiliar to ordinary people. The second picture shows an American guy greeting a Japanese guy in English. The sentence that the Japanese said means, "Sorry... I don't understand." 5) Interpersonal Barrier shows the second guy outside the wall trying to isolate himself from everyone. 6) Cultural Barrier shows a Filipino guy in Japan eating ramen slowly and quietly. In Japan, eating the noodles with sound means the person likes the ramen and is satisfied. 7) Perceptual Barrier shows 2 sides: Pro Duterte and Anti Duterte. Their ideas can cause misunderstandings because of different ideologies and they contradict each other.

TO THAT GIRL: A Shakespearean Sonnet
Girl, I miss you so bad, I wrote this for you... For I can’t stop thinking about your face. My memories with you makes me feel blue... Oh darling; why did you go with a blaze.
Your beautiful face, cheeks, nose, and your eyes; Shimmering in the dark; making me cry. Yet I compare you as a precious price... But you left me and didn’t say goodbye.
Although I know it makes me feel so bad, You are the bright shining star in my dark. But if you’ll go back, I’ll be so much glad. For you’re the light that gives a bright spark.
Whatever happens, you’ll forever be, In my memory. But you’re gone. Set free.
I’m inspired to write this sonnet because it talks about my crush and I back in grade 7-8. Yeah, got rejected.

ICE: A Haiku Poem
I am cold as ice. Like ice, it stays so intact. But it melts when warmed.
Explanation:
The ice symbolizes a person. He is the ice. If the person did bad to him, like lying or becoming a traitor, the ice will melt, which symbolizes losing trust to someone(e.g. lying, leaving you behind)
