So maybe Chester’s not rude and stand-offish like Darcy, but there’s an emotional distance in his admittedly polite manners that makes him hard to get to know properly.

Freyja might not be playful and socially lively like Lizzie, yet there’s a surprising wit and intelligence hidden behind that stoic face that comes from keen observation.

Throw in repressed feelings, different social standings, and his pre-arranged engagement to someone else, and you’ve got a winner.
