I don't know if this particular aesthetic is popular anymore, but something I noticed about clowncore is that most outfits/makeup use bright primary colors. There's nothing wrong with that of course!! But I would love to see some outfit designs/makeup looks based off of these lovely little freaks! Lowkey kind of a sucker for the Mardi Gras colors so it'd be nice to see!!

I know it's midnight so technically it's over, but I drew [granted, poorly drawn] Digimon crests at work to celebrate Odaiba Day!! I make it a tradition to watch the movie yearly on August 1st! Maybe next year I'll go all out and throw a little party and make people some themed goodie bags and maybe dabble into cosplay for the very first time 👀

So, I've been wanting to get into mixed media art lately, but since I'm a newbie about this kinda stuff, I'm not sure what to buy!! I'll give yall a list of things that I've written down so far for if these items are good to use for mixed media!!

I've been told that the best paper and glue to use is watercolor paper and acrylic medium glue

Newspaper/magazines

Exacto knives (would scissors work as well?)

Buttons/stickers/beads/charms

Washi tape (I also saw YouTuber/streamer Alisa Chung use washi paper for some of her art, maybe I should look into that??)

I even found a book titled "Extraordinary Things to Cut-Out and Collage" by Maria Rivens

Let me know what I need to add to the list and if there's any better alternatives for anything I listed above, thanks so much in advance!!
