THROWBACK POST 2012

Actually this will be my 2nd time to blog about Sophie’s Mom, the difference is, my first blog was at their Makati Branch.

So to start with, I really planned to visit Sophie’s Mom on a Friday (after my OJT in a mental institution). My friend Jo asked me if I want to have lunch in SM Megamall since it’s just a few minutes near from the institution. We arrived there at 10:30am and right after we have taken our lunch, we bought goodies from Sophie’s Mom, I told Ate 1 and 2 to keep the goodies I bought & I will just get it on the afternoon :D

btw. We just saw Firas there, he is our friend in Mapua. He has an appointment w Matt Gozun that day! Firas, as far as I know, will be styling  Nikki Gil in a TVC :) Congrats Fifi! :P

I hope that the next time I’ll blog about Sophie’s Mom is when they open their third branch somewhere here in the south! :))

Since our Clinical Instructor dismissed us too early as usual (actually we didn’t do anything, we didn’t even work on clinical-related stuff, instead we just had our free voice lesson courtesy of my 2 singer classmate! lol. yes I’m a frustrated singer! :))

So back to what the title is really all about, we went right away to Ayala and decided to have our lunch at Mexicali (since our friend, firas, recommended that resto for having affordable prices! :))

Every meal that we ordered tastes good! :) except for the Burrito and Taco wherein according to Kat, she didn’t like it :|

Well Mexicali is really best for people who are looking for classy yet affordable meals! :) and what Giselle said, para sa mga taong pihikan sa pagkain :))

P.S. I forgot to bring my camera because I don’t really have plans for today! thank goodness for Louie’s iPad! :D

Oyes, this would be my real comeback after several attempts! haha. I've been busy working to survive. Lols! Well I decided to update my blog again thru letting you know how and what I went through while I was not active here. November 22, 2012 when I stood up on stage in front of so many people to receive a special title, and that title is Me as a graduate of psychology and of Mapua :-) "This is it!" The only thing I said while I turned the last page of my life's book as a student. Welcome to the real world, a survival-of-the-fittest type of life; it was December 4th when I accepted my first job, a Guidance Coordinator in an international school. I was happy and contented (at that time), I cannot ask for more, this is what I love! That's how optimistic I am (at that time. haha) Now it's my 8th month and everything has changed to "I thought I was happy and contented" "I thought I would not ask for more" "I thought this is what I love".. I thought it would be fun ;/ Well, that's life, and that's the reality. We shouldn't expect the best in our first job, we should always learn to start from nothing or from small things.. With these things that happened and are still happening to me, one thing is for sure.. It will strengthen my character and that character will help me succeed and get everything beyond my desire. P.S. thank you to all my followers who are still there despite of my irresponsibility! Haha Until my next blog! See you :D

J.Co Donuts and Coffee

"Nothing is sweeter than the togetherness we share."

Because of so many feed backs that I heard about J.Co, I didn't hesitate myself to give a try! While my friends were watching Ice Age (Which I really am not a fan of animated movies), Jo and I tried J.Co! Honestly, I find it overpriced because of its small sized donuts (Negative Relationship. the X goes up while the Y goes down. lols)

The donuts that we ordered:

Green Tea and Oreology

Alcapone & Heaven Berry.

These donuts taste good, nothing so special.

If you want something closely similar and much yummier than J.Co's bestseller Alcapone, there's something at Breadtalk that you will always wanted to get after you've tasted it.

Rainy Free-Cut

Since my only class on a friday late afternoon was free cut, my friend and I decided to have milk teas and doughnuts! So we went to:

Chatime. Good Tea, Good Time.

I really have this bad memory! I forgot what were the name of the teas we ordered! but they taste good though! :D then..

Right beside Chatime is Krispy Kreme!

G ordered Oreo Overload (forgot the exact name -.-)

while I ordered butterfinger (since butterfinger is one of my fave chocolates!)

both doughnuts are delicious, you should give yourself a try!

A Date with my BBF

During my term break, my best bud asked me to hang-out anywhere. So since I needed relaxation that time, I said SB Santana would be nice for the kind of bipolar weather that the day had.

Exchange of stories, experiences and jokes were the highlight of that day. I really missed that crazy girl who used to be my seatmate, schoolmate, best friend, and even my worst enemy during HS days.

So off to what I'm telling you, here were what we ordered and what we had in side during our tawanan moments.

All time fave Caramel Frappe in Milk based.

I'm really a fan of Cinnamons, so give me one, then we might be best friends forever! :)

That day was definitely unforgettable! I'll make sure it will happen again.

Dinner Buffet @ Barbara's

it was tuesday that time when my blockmates and I tried Barbara's somewhere in the historical place of Intramuros (walking distance from Mapua)

these were what I had that night! plus the desserts below.

Need I say more? Their foods are delicious, very filipino :))

Barbara's also offers cultural show at night. two thumbs up for the amazing performances! :D

So worth it! so you better try this restaurant for a dinner buffet :)

Casa Reyes Restaurant

And I am back to blogging! 4th term was finally over, time to relax and finish pending blogs! so here you go :)

Casa Reyes Restaurant, I know it's getting mainstreamed already but I just want to share how their Crispy Dinuguan brought me to heaven <3 lol! :))

So it was my first time to order dinuguan in a restaurant, I don't usually order this dish even in fast foods or anywhere else. I am not really a fan of Dinuguan but when my friend, kat, said it was delicious.. I didn't hesitate to give myself a try!

So one day, I went to Casa Reyes after class, I ordered their very own crispy dinuguan and their casa reyes iced tea.

It tastes good, nothing so special though. 

The Crispy Dinuguan is delicious (though as what I've said, i'm not really a fan), I liked it compared to other dinuguans that I've tasted!

So I hope I made you hungry.

Thursday morning, I asked my friend, Giselle, if she wants to visit Noriter after class (well, if you don't know, I owe her a frappe since she worked on my blog's lay-out), then, of course, she didn't hesitate to come! We also invited two of our friends, Jo & Tanya.

The interiors:

Noriter really has a relaxing and very homey ambiance, you can stay there as long as you want! I would like to visit there if I'll have time again soon.

The drinks taste really good, they are worth the price, swear! :D

Jo & I ordered their clubhouse (nothing tastes so special, like a home-made sandwich -.-)

P.S. No need to worry about your budget, because Noriter offers you foods and drinks that are very affordable :)

Team Building 2012

Last June 02, 2012, Saturday, we went to Antipolo for our team building! It was fun even though we didn't really participate on the actual team building. We enjoyed the day for we were free to do whatever we wanted to do that day. It was supposedly 2-day activity but I have to leave at 3am of June 03 because my family planned to visit the Manaoag Church and after there, we went to Baguio City! :3 It was really a jam-packed weekend! :D
