[Hi y'all!]

[Sorry for being out of touch for... (checks clock) the greater part of a year...

[Work hit me like a truck, and the very wild shifts that have occurred in my life meant I didn't have enough time or mental energy for RP--or at least engagement at a level I felt would have been satisfactory--but now that I'm back, hopefully I'll be on a bit more!

[Do expect a few changes as I work out the bumps & kinks on this blog & others, and please be patient!

Rachel clicked her tongue and patted the spot on the couch next to her. “Hup!” She called to Amazing Baby. The proximity to her food would also be a great motivator.

“Whek!” Amazing Baby lept up onto the couch, crawling over Rachel’s lap to get to the food.

"Today is..." Wade lifted Jeff high in the air. "WATER PARK DAY!!"

“Mrrrp!” Jeff happily chirped, squirming in his arms when Wade caught him.

(@musesmarveled) Gork returns some time later, brandishing a squeaky chimichanga toy in his mouth which he promptly plops down at Jeff's feet. He wanted to share.

@musesmarveled "Mrrp!" Jeff immediately pounces onto it, gnawing and pawing at it enthusiastically. Jeff wags his tail and crouches, inviting Gork into a tug-of-war over the toy.

"Hey there, Veep. Guess what's on the agenda today?" Wade said excitedly, greeting Jeff with a big hug.

“Mrrrp?” Jeff questioned, before chirping excitedly and greeting Wade with a few tail-wags and a big, slobbery kiss on the cheek.

"This is MINE! You can't have any, stop begging for scraps!"

“Wook at him! How could you say no to this widdle face?” Rachel held up Amazing Baby to Shaw’s face, with a grin.

“Whek!” Amazing Baby greeted, sniffing at Shaw curiously.

“You foul, ugly, obnoxious little monster.” TO ANY/ALL OF THEM

Amazing Baby

“Whek... ?” Amazing Baby whines, drooping their head a bit.

“Don’t listen to him, Amazing Baby,” Rachel coos, “you’rwe the best widdle warw-wolf a wady could ask forw, yes you arwe!”

“Whek! Whek!”

Lockheed

“Hisss...” Lockheed glares at him, curling protectively around Kate’s shoulders.

“Don’t make Lock take out your other eye, Shaw,” Kitty warns, with a bit of a smile. “Besides, it’s only fair. An eye for an eye, right?”

(@musesmarveled) "Gork!" Greets the infant dragon, dubbed Gork by his human companion. The littlest incarnation of Shou Lao thought he could use some friends, and wanted to say hello, so he decided to do just that. Or at least he would have, were he able to say more words other than, well, gork.

Jeff toddled over to where the infant dragon sat, curiously sniffing at him.

“Mrrp!” greets Jeff, as he voraciously tackles Gork, tail wagging and slobbering a bit, with his tongue lolling out.

Character Bios!

Jeff the Land Shark

A genetically engineered shark that could survive and walk on land, Jeff was first adopted by Gwenpool and the other members of the West Coast Avengers (likely being created by BRODOK). After an incident left Jeff briefly de-aged, he ended up with Elsa Bloodstone. Currently, Jeffrey the First of His Name of the Former Staten Island is under the care of Deadpool. 

Lockjaw

The massive dog known as Lockjaw is the loyal pet of the Inhuman Royal Family (having been experimented on since before he was a pup). Lockjaw has the ability to teleport at will, and is immensely strong, although he does seem to suffer from canine urges from time to time.

Amazing Baby

The last living Warwolf, Amazing Baby was rescued by Excalibur, after they were tasked with wiping out the Warwolves--but refused to kill Amazing Baby. Currently, they are under the care of Rachel Summers (also known as Prestige; she gave them their name) along with the rest of X-Faqtor. They’re well-trained as a tracker, if a bit disobedient. 

Lockheed

Lockheed was a member of a highly advanced dragon-like extra-terrestrial race. After being saved by a teenage Kitty Pryde (then known as Shadowcat) he became an honorary member of the X-Men, and was with Kitty during her adventures on Excalibur. Highly loyal and protective of Kitty, he now joins her on the Marauder, scorching anyone who comes too close and supplying Pyro with fistfuls of dragonfire.
