My favourite song at the moment is ‘Ahead by a Century’ by The Tragically Hip. I especially like a specific part, “First thing we’d climb a tree and then maybe we’d talk. Or sit silently and listen to our thoughts.” Those two sentences make me feel so light for some reason. It’s like that feeling you get after an argument with someone you hold dearly to your heart, and the aftermath is a comforting awkward silence that you know won’t last for to long before you both get along again.

School is so fun at the end of the year, I love the feeling of everything being blurred and only feeling an intense joy for hours at a time.

I have a really bad habit of brushing things off quickly, as much as I know I’ve been doing it since I was maybe 6 or 7 years old? (Kai. No, it’s not 6 7.)

The reason it’s a bad habit is because I brush off other people’s problems quickly too. I feel bad for doing so but I genuinely can’t help it.

I just realized how many times I’ve genuinely was on the brink of a breakdown but had like a minute of a reaction then says “anyways!” The crazy thing is that I expect others to do the same! I’ve always been around a family that’s brushed things aside quickly, until like 3 years ago, it’s a genuine problem.

I’ve always struggled to understand why my friends always held onto small things but now I realize that maybe that “small thing” to me, was probably a big deal to them.

Woke up at 6:50. Was on the road by 7:00. And was geeking out over art with Kai by 7:00-8:05. Slept 8:20 am - 2:00 pm. And still going strong
