We don't have tests in the art course, but to compensate we have a bunch of assigments that require a lot of time and attention so my creativity has been fluctuating so much 😭 I think I'm gonna open commissions tomorrow though, in the meantime I wanna do some warm up sketches and stuff to relearn my usual artstyle. I'll post an announcement for commission slots after that!

A bit of a late post but as always, thank you everyone who commissioned me and shared!! 🙏 I'm still debating whether or not I'll be opening more slots in this month of May since I have some complex assignments to complete, but in June I'll try for sure to work on some more commissions (Partly because I want to make up for July. I'll definitely won't have the time then since I'm planning to participate on artfight for the first time this year🎉)

Took some time to post but I'll take this as an opportunity to open 3 new slots for this month of April as well 🏃 I'll reblog the price sheet on my blog soon

Miku Barbie design, I just had to.

+ simplified concept design, took inspiration from that one dark blue dress outfit from the Barbie movie, the fairy type Miku from project voltage, and overrall Barbie doll designs. I didn't have one particular reference in mind but the pink heels with bows on the side was definitely taken from a long lost memory of some princess doll I had as a kid.

In the final illustration I had no space to put the 01 mark since her hand is covering where it was supposed to be so I moved it to the side of the dress, just so I wouldn't erase an extra Miku motif because I feared changing her blue hair to pink and blonde would already make it much difficult to identify her as Miku in this design 😭 but canonically in my head the pink 01 mark is still on her left leg instead of the dress

Fun fact, the sound waves on her sleeves I copied from the spotify music code for World is Mine, but it's not scanable after I liquified and cropped it to fit the illustration.

Omg so I'm playing ttrpg with friends, and each of us created our own characters individually without knowing what the others were planning, and by the end we coincidentally ended up with a group of 4 investigators, each one with 4 letters on their names, and everyone perfectly matching with each of the 4 different paranormal elements of the campaign's universe! And considering there's a meme in the fandom that says 4 is the number of death, we're so doomed.
