It'd would be interesting to know if you think there are any pros to being contraflow as a sx/so, like that post aviesaurum did on pros of being sp/sx. But please go to the doctor first smh.
Ok yea, Contra flow fucking sucks lol. In our case, Sx and So push against each other, and push against people as well…
So, we end up jumping between these really vulnerable flashes of Extreme Extraversion, where we’re So-ing and showing off and putting ourselves out there, in order to make an Sx connection and switch over into that Focused Extraversion where we thrive. But we can either scare people off with our Sx  assertiveness, or accidentally attract the wrong person during our So-ing and get stalked or worse. Or, what sometimes happens, is we don’t find a connection at all and sink into a deep depression where we aren’t getting either Sx or So fulfilled. Plus, we get like bed bugs or some shit. Bad.
But there’s benefits, obvs, when we do find a connection:
Sx/Sos are the most Sp-blind of the Sp-blinds imo, because 1. wedon’t build a large Social safety net to fall back on in the same way So/Sxs do,and 2. Because when you’re contraflow and torn between your variants and spending a lot of time getting neither of them fulfilled, you grow to actively fuckingdespise your blindspot
Sp-blinds live their lives without Sp’s “I must live forever”complex. And in the case of Sx/Sos, we actually see the risk of death asessential to living life to its fullest. At worst, this manifests as abunch of people unable to focus on the necessities of life, and willing to diefor absolutely anything. A fucking Klondike bar. Like, anything.
At best, though, you get people with a singular drive andpassion for being alive, laying down a legacy, and having a meaningful existenceregardless of how long or short that might be. You get people willing to diefor the things they’re passionate about/ willing to pursue their passionsregardless of the risk. (You see a lot of sp-blinds going after more risky professions, because we can’t really see ourselves doing anything else.)
Sx/Sos are more destructive than constructive. So asopposed to So/Sps, whose ascent to the top is more related to social bettermentand asceticism, we’re more hedonistic in our approach, and we sort of take thesesocial nosedives in order to catalyze situations and set an example.
I.E. people willing to die for their causes, or morerealistically, the guy whose legacy was dying and therefore making it illegal to parachutenaked or some shit

i think its important to remember that every contraflow, including social variants, come to the table with an ‘i hate everyone’ complex. we’re naturally pushed away from people, and often self-isolate. even sxso/sosp self isolates because it’s driven from others. it just manifests differently for each variant.
sosp:
I hate people, so I’m going to self isolate until i can prove my worth to the world and society. or get in good with the right people.
a lot of so/sp ‘activities’ put them at risk for social rejection because contraflow, which only makes their complex stronger and makes them feel more rejected/try harder to be liked or valued, which becomes a negative feedback loop. they don’t want to be rejected, but realize they often are. a lot of sosp people have anxiety as a result, though this isn’t a hard and fast rule.
sxso:
i hate people, but i need to be around them to find my real friends and forge bonds that allow me to survive
sxso has a habit of putting itself ‘out there’ only to withdraw if they don’t connect with something immediately. they may outwardly appear friendly, but are actually very choosy with what they do and who they spend time with, though they often take care not to appear that way because appearing unfriendly or stand-offish can drive away the wrong people– the people sxso likes and wants to deepen bonds with.
spsx:
i hate people, so I’m only going to leave my house once a week and only talk to people that don’t tire me out or trigger my sp, which could be no-one a lot of the time
a lot of spsx ‘passions’ are solitary/allow for minimal interaction with those that ‘tire them’, or are low maintenance. to people they want to like, they might appear awkward or strange, and have a habit of pulling back into their comfort zone after any sort of stressful or annoying activity/person, which has the effect of them coming across as stand-offish or absent a lot. they connect to people with no rhyme or reason, and may seem arbitrary or odd in what they choose to do, as their sp is finicky.
obviously this reflects average health and not super unhealthy/super healthy levels of health

if a phobic 6w7 So/Sp and a counterphobic 6w7 Sx/So held hands, they’d  generate enough raw ennea6 energy that everyone within a 4 mile radius would have a panic attack at the same time

The weirdest part about the Ms. M&M post is if you google “Bambi Ps2” you get an entire fanon wiki for a PS2 Bambi game that doesn’t exist and is entirely made up, including list of bugs and glitches that don’t actually exist, because there isn’t an actual Bambi game for PlayStation 2 or any Bambi game at all for that matter
