Odd question, but are you able to wear a helmet, or boots, in your state? They're the easiest armor to craft, and I heard a rumor that wearing gold is culturally symbolic to Piglins! Something along the lines of thinking that you're a merchant, or of high rank in their society, and they're less likely to attack you- maybe slapping on some gold accessories could help? It probably won't fly with any generals or their brutes, though.

They’re angry. And from what I’ve learned, they have every right to be. But I think you can’t just say that you’re sorry. You have to show them…somehow.

Perhaps trying to form truces with some of the Piglins would be a good start?
