THE QUEEN IS ACTUALLY DEAD

Three sided single is

STYROFOAM RECORDS number one!

Two records, a zine, a sticker, a patch and a button.

Edition of 100, but at this time we only have 50 copies.

The band will have 25 and the label will 25 of the records.

Mark your calendars!

¾ of the Sess will be performing live for their record release party at Burning Beard Brewing Company on March 11, 2023.

This will be a day long event from 12PM-6PM.

The records will be available for sale AT THIS EVENT.

****Styrofoam Records will not be taking pre-orders due to limited quantity.***

These are hand carved lathe-cut records, and as many of the other components as we could are either hand made or at least home made.

ADDITIONALLY- this is also the release date of the split zine by Katherine Brannock and McHank.

To call this a zine is a misnomer.

It is made at home, one at a time, but it is as thicc as peanut butter. High quality Epson ink print on the okayest paper you can buy at an OfficeMax type of place.

This was a fun one!

So tonight friends in London will be able to see the finale of Great British Bake Off, but we don’t get it here until Friday.

I started this on Friday and just worked a couple hours at a time here and there on it.

I really loved everybody this season, the final four were all so great, but I’ve been Team Crystelle since day one.

I rotoscoped this, meaning I traced every frame by hand.

It’s a bit wonky but also I kinda am really proud of it.

I’m not posting this to commemorate the anniversary of Joey’s passing, I don’t celebrate him for how he died but for how he lived.

He’s been on my mind a lot lately so I made this little tribute to him today.

I sent a bunch of stuff a few months ago, not even thinking at the time, oh they’re going to review it.

But then I got this issue in the mail and there’s a lot of kind words here, and I’m very flattered.

(The Fugazi issue is $15, though, not $5)

This was my first time trying Rotoscoping and I learned a lot about animation in general.

Made using an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil and the app Rough Animator. One small segment wasn’t rotoscoped and it was made with ProCreate.

I only ever made half of this Jonny Manak and the Depressives music video.

It took me forever because I couldn’t decide what to make the characters look like.

I filmed this on an iPhone (5 I think?), used an app called 8mm and edited with the singer of this band, using iMovie
