Pairing: Reader x CEO!Tom Holland

Summary: You’re finishing your last year of university in London, and what better way do to that than with an internship at Holland and Osterfield’s?

The following Monday morning, Tom is parked outside your apartment complex once again. He had texted you on Sunday night, more so telling you than asking you, that he would take you to work in the morning. As quick as they appear, you push the butterflies away. Jumping into his warm car, your Secret Santa gift in hand, you send him a casual smile. He returns it immediately and you ignore the slight flutter in your chest. You had decided to pretend like the night with him didn’t happen until he brought it up - if he brings it up. 

“Morning,” Tom greets, putting the car in drive and effortlessly backing out of the spot he had parked in. “I brought you some tea.” 

Well, shit. This is going to be easier said than done. 

“M-Morning. Thank you,” you mumble in response, immediately kicking yourself for sounding flustered. 

Timidly, you grab the to-go beverage that had been placed in the cupholder. The warmth of the liquid seeps through the thick cardboard and you let it heat up your stiff, cold fingers. You had grown to love London over the past years and you could honestly see yourself settling there, but you had to admit you missed the Californian sun from time to time. It never really dips below 32ºF in your hometown, so your first winter in England had been fairly brutal. Cecelia had teased you days on end about not being able to handle your cold and your response always was ‘I grew up in California. What do you expect?’ 

Having been too consumed by your jumbled thoughts and memories, you hadn’t realized how much time had passed. You’re brought back to the now as Tom leans over to unbuckle your seatbelt, making you jolt as the belt snaps. He chuckles while grabbing his own cup and you narrow your eyes at him. Smirking sheepishly, he just shrugs and opens his door. The door to the back opens and he leans back in to grab his laptop bag. By the time he reaches your side, you’re already climbing your way out of the luxurious SUV. 

“I would’ve opened the door for you-” he begins, but you interrupt him. 

“Well, I’m perfectly capable of opening my own car door, thanks,” you snap and it sounds harsher than you meant it to. “Sorry, I-”

“Sheesh. Someone’s sassy this morning, ay?” Another chuckle rumbles from within his chest and you just huff, shutting the door behind you before starting your walk toward the building.

Stupid Things We Don’t Talk About Enough

- Tom hasn’t ever had an onscreen kiss. 

- it’s super rare to have a friendship like Tom and Harrison’s. (And even more so with the life they have to live)

- the nerdist podcast

- Harrison’s hair. (It curls and looks soft even when he loads it with hair gel. It’s magical)

- Tom plays multiple instruments (guitar, Uke, piano) 

- Jacob plays multiple instruments well 

- Tom and Harrison are 21 and don’t seem to have any serious mental health issues. (Do you know how frikin rare that is?)

- that video where Tom wakes Harrison up when he hit 1M. (Harrison was happy for him even though he just got jumped on. I woulda hit someone for that no matter what the reason)

- Harry went to BRITschool too? (I think? I actually can’t find anything that confirms that. There is a short film the BRITschool channel uploaded that he has the smallest cameo in though- like he doesn’t show his face)

- Harry keeps wearing ball caps like Ron Howard and it’s real squish

- Paddy’s name is Patrick.

- Monty is cuter than Tessa

- Harrison hasn’t had peanut butter

- Tom’s (possible) Spotify

- The fact that Tom’s voice raises a pitch when he smiles as he talks.  

- Tom’s love of Ed Sheeran (just cause that makes me happy) 

- The fact that Harrison has tumblr (and all the boys share stuff between each other when its funny or amusing to them.)

Tom Holland image: Being on holiday with Tom

Note: this is my first piece of writing ever , please be kind ;)

• you usually fly to spain with your family for holiday but Tom takes you to New Zealand

• flying first class

• chilling in a super cool airport lounge before boarding (at Heathrow)

• Harrison and Harry are also coming with you on the trip, Jacob will get to New Zealand in 2 weeks

• you never experienced a flight like this, first class is just great

• after a very, very long flight you arrive in Auckland, exhausted and very jetlagged

• you and Tom check in a hotel for the night to get a little bit of rest while Harrison and Harry are clubbing in Auckland

• watching your favourite tv series (Lucifer) with Tom before you fall asleep in his arms

• waking up in his strong arms while smelling a hint of coffee and croissant in the air

• after breakfast in bed, you decide to explore Auckland a little bit before leaving in the late afternoon for your road trip

• in the afternoon you two meet up with Harrison and Harry who rented a camper van

• starting your road trip towards the north tip of New Zealand to the Bay of islands

• after a couple hours of driving you settle down on a nice lake

• camp fire on the lake with marshmallow of course

• a bit of an awkward situation in the camper van with Harrison and Harry, it's hard to find private time for you and Tom. You two decide to take a motel room for one night.

• arrival on the north tip of New Zealand after a couple of days

• wonderful view from the top of the cliffs so you and Harry decide to take a few photos and cinematics

• in the following days you and tom went skydiving, you were so scared before that Tom needed to promise that you two will go horse riding on the next day

• you skydiving experience was amazing, the horse riding trip on the next day was fantastic as well even Tom liked the skydiving a bit more

• exploring and adventuring for the rest of the week

• Harrison and Harry annoying you two at some point, you split for the last three days to spend a little bit of quality time with Tom

• meeting up with H2 to take the plane to the South island of New Zealand

• THT reunion in Queenstown (Jacob arrived)

• because it's winter in New Zealand you decide to go skiing

• Tom and Harry teach you how to ski and after a week you get along pretty good, Jacob doesn't like skiing at all, he stucks

• you and Tom are going on a hiking trip to the mountains (without H2 and Jacob), you two stay the night in cosy Lodge on top of the mountain

• a cold night with cuddles and tea in front of the chimney, finally enjoying your time together

• all back together you finally go bungee jumping, a big dream of yours

• everyone is enjoying it, even Jacob, only Harry doesn't like it, there is great footage of him screaming his soul out on your insta story

• Jacob is staying in Queenstown for 3 more days before leaving for Hawaii, you and Tom will visit him in two months

• H2, Tom and you finishing the road trip by driving back to Auckland and take a plane to London

• back in London, you and Tom go shopping in the city but it's getting difficult due to Tom's celebrity status after Spiderman homecoming came out

• meet his family for the first time. Nikki loves you, you two are connecting through the interest in photography. Dom likes you as well

• Harry and you have become something like bff's after your road trip, he wants you in his next directing project as an assistant to the director of photography

• after two weeks with the Holland's it's time for them to leave for Edinburgh to support Dom with his shows

• you and Tom fly with them as well but only stay with them for three days because Tom needs to prepare for his next movie

• flying back to Montreal for pre production of Chaos Walking, Harrison is already there to look for a house near by the set

• stay with the boys in Montreal for a while but flying back to Germany after four weeks because you need to work on your next project as a photographer
