Yeah, I'd be happy to write commissions - depending on what is requested, some things i just can't do.
Price-wise it may depend. I'd say $20 CAD per 1000 words of writing as a baseline for regular fiction writing, which I believe is around $15 USD. I may ask more if something requires additional effort (research, unusual formatting, poetry, etc). Prices would be discussed and agreed upon ahead of time though.
As far as payment methods go, Paypal most likely but other options could be possible.

that is a good question. it is a quintessentially 'Minecraft' moment, which makes it difficult to translate
one option - depending on the tone - is to play it straight. have the tree grow instantly and engulf her. it would be a more comedic moment then, so it would only work if you are not going for an entirely serious tone
another option, if going for a more fantasy approach, is to have someone using magic to make the trees grow fast - and, again, have the tree grow straight through cleo as she walks over it. this depends on whether you are going to have magic like that
there isn't a way to make it fully realistic, but a way to reference that moment while still retaining verisimilitude might be to have cleo trip and fall into a tree - as she is a zombie, perhaps she ends up impaled on a branch or something. this keeps the rough idea (cleo's first brush with death is a tree, slightly ridiculous) but it has a more serious, grounded tone

This leads to the question of “If there is so much ‘life energy’ in the Nether, what’s the deal with all the skeletons?”
"If everyone has an "ice cream come" in the gelateria, what's the deal with all the empty tubs?"
All signs point to the Nether being full of things with life/vitality giving properties.
Gold is used for golden apples, and glistening melons which are used to create instant health potions.
Blaze powder is required for brewing, and is used for strength potions. It is also used to open the end portal.
Ghast tears are used for regeneration potions, and ender crystals that heal the Ender Dragon. It is also used to craft dried ghasts.
The Wither drops nether stars which are used in beacons. Even when the Wither kills something, it creates life in wither roses.
And then there’s the whole thing with soul sand and soul energy. (Especially if you consider Minecraft Dungeons canon)
Fire (and heat) itself is commonly associated with health, vitality, and power.
This leads to the question of “If there is so much ‘life energy’ in the Nether, *what’s the deal with all the skeletons*?”

Gem was dredging the river’s bottom when she spotted her.
Dredging was long, boring work, only rarely interspersed with the excitement of pulling something interesting out of the muck. She would have preferred building castles or breeding sea monsters - but a girl needed to eat, after all.
Even after she saw her, it took Gem a second to realise what she was seeing.
It was False - False in those same old clothes from Empires that she hadn’t worn in over a year. She was floating on the water clutching a piece of driftwood, short hair splayed out behind her head.
“H-help,” False called. “Please…”
Without hesitation, Gem grabbed a life preserver and dove right off the side of her boat.
She paddled over to False with the preserver held under her shoulder, rope spooling out across the surface of the water behind her. “Grab on,” she ordered, taking in False’s bedraggled appearance and the exhaustion writ plan on her face. “I can help carry you, but you need to grab on.”
False coughed, weakly craning her neck to look over at Gem. “...Thank… you…”
“Hold on, I’ll get you on board.”
Clambering up, Gem quickly winched False in. She leaned in as False flopped onto the deck like a fish, coughing up seawater.
“What happened? Are you okay?”
Gem held False up while she gasped and took in air. False’s eyes met Gem’s.
She looked scared.
“G… gem?”
“It’s me.”
“...how?”
“I saw you in the water,” Gem tried to explain. “Gods, you nearly drowned there.”
“No, how… how are you here?”
“False?” Gem blinked quizzically. “I live here, don’t you remember?”
“But this-” False looked around. “This isn’t Dawn?”
“Dawn?” Gem laid her hand on False’s forehead, feeling for a fever. “False, are you okay?”
She looked over her again. Suddenly, her sodden clothes seemed horribly familiar. A white shirt, dark brown suspenders, and copper-tinted goggles.
“Aren’t you the…” False floundered for a word, “Princess… of Dawn?”
Gem’s heart fell to her heels.
She’d thought False was just a good actor - like she herself was. False seemed to nearly disappear after a while, surely just returning to Hermitcraft when she’d had enough. Right?
‘Hey false’, Gem typed out carefully, ‘where r u rn?’
“Gem?” False asked cautiously. Her eyes were shifty, suspicious. “Where are we?”
And then Gem got a reply.
‘At my base o.O’
“You’re from Empires?” She asked.
False blinked, her expression befuddled. “...Yeah?”
No no no no no no.
On Empires, False had just been a good actor. She’d had fun for a while before returning to her friends on Hermitcraft. That had been it.
Gem had seen her again, time and again. Gem had checked that she wasn’t as scared, as alone as she seemed back then.
And when the fae came-
She’d been warned, right?
Gem didn’t-
-didn’t just leave her again in a crumbling world?
“Gem? Gem? Gem!”
Gem snapped out of her spiral, woozy from hyperventilating.
“You’re…” Gem swallowed uneasily. “You’re on Hermitcraft, False.”
For a second, it suddenly seemed like False wasn’t there anymore. Like she was looking at something far more distant than the nets and barrels of fish.
And then- “I remember her.”
“...uh huh?”
“I don’t remember much,” False explained. “But- I remember her.”
Remember- oh.
“You’re friends with her, aren’t you?”
“I thought I was,” Gem admitted. Before I left you in a dying world and she told me everything was fine.
“Can we go see her?”
She wished she could pretend it didn’t matter.
“I’ll take us right there.”
As her ship traveled up the rivers, Gem could barely focus on steering. Her gaze kept creeping back to False - who seemed nervous and withdrawn, fingers clenched as if around the handle of a sword.
“I’m sorry.”
False looked up at her with surprise. “Pardon me, what?”
Gem stopped the boat and walked over to her. “I’m sorry for leaving you, back when I was the princess of Dawn.”
“It’s okay.” False shrugged. “I think Sausage was the only one who thought about me back then.”
“That’s not true! I did care. I- I just didn’t ask the right person.”
False frowned. “You asked her, didn’t you?”
“I did.”
“I don’t know if that makes me feel better or worse.” False looked to the sky, closing her eyes in remembrance. “I’m sorry too.”
“Wait, what are you sorry for?”
“For leaving you when the moon fell.”
Gem looked at her with wide eyes. “What? That was you?”
“It was- well, it was us,” False explained. “Both of us. We traded places, and- we both promised to you that we’d stay in that bunker. We both wanted you to feel safe, but we didn’t think it would work, so we just- we left.”
Gem’s jaw fell. “You left as well?!”
“We- wait, what do you mean ‘as well’?”
“I felt so bad for leaving you!” Gem explained. “I didn’t think the bunker would work, but I wanted you to feel safe! I tried leaving on one of my deer, and then the deer couldn’t take me so I made a portal, and-”
They just looked at each other wordlessly.
Gem was the first to crack, breaking out into giggles.
False soon followed, and if she sounded a bit panicked, there was no mention made of it.
They ended up sitting side-to-side in bedraggled clothes, letting the boat gently bob on the river’s water. It felt good, like a fresh breeze after a long rain.
“Are we even now?” False asked.
“Of course we are!”
False sighed. “I… I still have to talk to her.”
Gem looked her in the eyes. “If you need to,” she began, “then I’ll be right by your side every step of the way. You got that?”
“Thank you.”

Not leaving this in the tags, because you're right and I completely forgot about it! The creaking is another piece of evidence for evocation being a distinct form of magic.
I'm not sure how natural the pale garden is - the name "garden" suggests that it was created rather than evolved. Perhaps it's the remnant of early Evoker experiments that got out of hand?
Woodland mansions are the only structures in the game where you can naturally find resin, and illagers are scared of creakings. It could just be be because the pale garden is a dark forest variant - they could have just run into them naturally - but it seems possible the illagers may have created the pale gardens.
Notably the pale/grey colour scheme fits the illager colour scheme - their grey skin might be the result of magic instead of natural, evoker fangs are grey, and vexes look like paler, desaturated allays. There is enough evidence that illager magic results in paling and desaturation that they may have created pale gardens by accident.
Admittedly it is just circumstantial evidence - illagers use blue wool a lot and don't really have any colour association with orange like the pale garden does - but it's an interesting consideration.

Most magic in Minecraft can be classified into two disciplines - enchantments and alchemy, of which alchemy is the more broad. I posit there is also a third type - evocation. But let's discuss all of them.
1. Enchantments
Enchantments are a kind of magic used to enhance or alter the functions of an item. Enchantments are permanent, and they do not appear to alter the user directly in any way.
The most obvious examples are of course the enchantments and curses placed on gear. Most of them enhance a function of that gear - making it last longer, mine faster, hit harder, or lure better - but some instead add new functions, like Mending, Wind Burst, or Riptide.
Besides gear enchantments, enchanting is overtly involved with the Enchanted Golden Apple - which is an enhanced version of a regular golden apple, indicating that enchanting can also be used to enhance the functions of consumables.
Based on its characteristic glint it's possible that enchanting is in some way involved with written books, End Crystals, Nether Stars, but it's hard to say in what way that could be.
Enchanting, notably, is tied heavily to XP - which, as we know thanks to sculk, is related to souls in some way. It is likely that anything in the game which requires XP is a form of enchanting. I posit, for example, that renaming items is actually enchanting - it isn't so simple as putting a tag on them, but in fact consists of the player altering that item's True Name through enchanting.
Could that also be true of written books?
2. Alchemy
Alchemy is a more broad term than you might think - alchemy in Minecraft is the magic art of temporarily enhancing or altering a being, typically through the use of external reagents.
The most obvious example of alchemy is potions - these alter mobs such as the player, temporarily enhancing abilities like strength or resistance, or giving them new abilities. There are many other examples, however.
There are several foods in the game that grant potion effects or interact with them, indicating that alchemy is not limited to intelligent life but that it can arise through evolution too.
Other sources of alchemical effects include beacons, conduits, end crystals (which heal the ender dragon). They appear to be in a similar category and indicate that consumption is not necessary for alchemical effects, merely some source of energy - the pyramid and sacrifice for a beacon, prismarine for a conduit, or the vast amount of energy stored within an end crystal. The beams of end crystals are similar in form to guardian laser beams - which are a natural form of alchemy (indicated by guardian beam damage being identical to Instant Damage)
Curing zombies is an alchemical process.
Finally, totems of undying are an interesting item that seem to indicate a good understanding of alchemy, due to their unique function. I also believe that they may have a link to the third school of magic...
3. Evocation
I believe that Evocation (or Summoning) is the third field of magic in Minecraft, and (unlike the others) it is compatible with other forms of magic. Evocation creates or permanently alters creatures.
The natural form of evocation is lightning - it can permanently alter many kinds of mobs, and can even summon them in the form of skeleton horse traps. Interestingly, lightning can be evoked through an enchantment - Channeling - indicating that enchantments can be used to trigger evocations.
Evokers are masters of evocation, able to summon vexes and fangs - their unique use of totems of undying suggests that totems are also a creation of evocation, not just triggering alchemical effects but actually un-doing the user's death through evocation. Considering even the evokers themselves don't use their totems, I wonder how exactly a totem permanently alters the user - such that their own creators are afraid of them.
I believe that the creation of golems - snow golems, iron golems, and the Wither - is another expression of evocation. Again, Withers are a source of a rare alchemical reagent, indicating that evocation can be used alongside alchemy.
It is likely that spawners and vaults use evocation to summon mobs.
What societies use them?
Minecraft's societies all make use of magic in some form.
Villagers appear to have some knowledge of alchemy (clerics, wandering traders), and are familiar enough with evocation to create iron golems, but the magic they are most familiar with is enchantment - enchanting appears to be well known and well understood in villager society, much better than among players.
Illagers on the other hand, despite shared origins, seem to detest enchanting and use it sparingly. They are skilled in other fields - Evokers, as said before, have mastery over evocation, while witches are experts in alchemy.
Piglins are the final major magic-using society. As the only society based in the nether they have access to nether wart and potions through it, though they seem to only use fire resistance. They also possess a divergent discipline of enchanting; we see only soul speed as players, but I wonder what other enchantments they may be keeping to themselves.
Endermen do not appear to make use of magic. End cities contain potions and enchanted gear but the endermen don't use them.
Disciplines unmentioned
There are some things that some people consider magic which I failed to mention. Let's quickly go through them.
Redstone: Probably not magic, since it is all related to a particular mineral.
Cross-dimensional travel: All portals and teleportation appear to have the same source. They aren't really linked to anything else.

I believe that Evocation (or Summoning) is the third field of magic in Minecraft, and (unlike the others) it is compatible with other forms of magic. Evocation creates or permanently alters creatures.
The natural form of evocation is lightning - it can permanently alter many kinds of mobs, and can even summon them in the form of skeleton horse traps. Interestingly, lightning can be evoked through an enchantment - Channeling - indicating that enchantments can be used to trigger evocations.
Evokers are masters of evocation, able to summon vexes and fangs - their unique use of totems of undying suggests that totems are also a creation of evocation, not just triggering alchemical effects but actually un-doing the user's death through evocation. Considering even the evokers themselves don't use their totems, I wonder how exactly a totem permanently alters the user - such that their own creators are afraid of them.
I believe that the creation of golems - snow golems, iron golems, and the Wither - is another expression of evocation. Again, Withers are a source of a rare alchemical reagent, indicating that evocation can be used alongside alchemy.
It is likely that spawners and vaults use evocation to summon mobs.
What societies use them?
Minecraft's societies all make use of magic in some form.
Villagers appear to have some knowledge of alchemy (clerics, wandering traders), and are familiar enough with evocation to create iron golems, but the magic they are most familiar with is enchantment - enchanting appears to be well known and well understood in villager society, much better than among players.
Illagers on the other hand, despite shared origins, seem to detest enchanting and use it sparingly. They are skilled in other fields - Evokers, as said before, have mastery over evocation, while witches are experts in alchemy.
Piglins are the final major magic-using society. As the only society based in the nether they have access to nether wart and potions through it, though they seem to only use fire resistance. They also possess a divergent discipline of enchanting; we see only soul speed as players, but I wonder what other enchantments they may be keeping to themselves.
Endermen do not appear to make use of magic. End cities contain potions and enchanted gear but the endermen don't use them.
Disciplines unmentioned
There are some things that some people consider magic which I failed to mention. Let's quickly go through them.
Redstone: Probably not magic, since it is all related to a particular mineral.
Cross-dimensional travel: All portals and teleportation appear to have the same source. They aren't really linked to anything else.
