If you hadn’t heard, Flaskin is the sister company of Numbuzin! The name comes from ‘flasks’ in reference to science backed ingredients, and ‘skin’ because they want this line to be for all skin types. In particular the line is meant to combat flaky, dull, and sensitive skin with its unique protein formulas. Because I was so happy with the Numbuzin products I had gotten to try out before (you would have seen me talking about their amazing SPF most recently), I had a feeling I would like these Flaskin products… and I was right! I was very pleased with how gentle both of these products were, and how they instantly made my skin have a healthy glow. I also love the fact that they are fragrance free.
It was no surprise that the milky toner offers instant hydration. I love how lightweight it is while still offering a good amount of moisture. It didn’t feel sticky at all thanks to its creaminess. The essence was a little more sticky on the other hand, but I was so happy with how it paired with the toner, I will definitely use this one up in no time. If you don’t really care about textures like I do, then I definitely recommend this! I preferred the toner texture wise, but I definitely think you’ll see amazing results if you go for this whole line of products. I did after only a handful of uses with only two of the products from this line. They also offer an oatmeal barrier cream which I’m hoping to try out soon.

Product was gifted by Native and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. You can sign up for Influenster here.
Product reeked of alcohol in my opinion. I could hardly make out the citrus. I was very disappointed considering I’ve heard lots of good things from people about the Native line of bodycare products. I’m also no stranger to body sprays, so I know they can smell good and be enjoyable. But this was a huge no from me. I will not be adding this to my daily routine. Two out of five stars.

Blog update!
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m mainly focusing on video content on other platforms. I rarely see other people posting on tumblr as often for inspo posts for this blog as well. So I’ll only be doing three posts per week going forward. Two original posts of my content on Monday and Friday, and one inspo pic per week on Wednesday, bc they’re hard for me to find these days. If feels like there aren’t a ton of active beauty blogs (that are posting original content, a lot of blogs I come across steal content from other creators without giving credit much like on Pintrest and other apps tbh and I feel bad bc idk where the original content came from either. I don’t have the energy to be putting energy into that currently. I’m sorry).
If you still want my full picture and review posts, I post them on Instagram. You can also find me elsewhere via my linktree. I’m not leaving tumblr completely, but my priorities are elsewhere since I’m only one person trying to run multiple accounts in my free time. Thanks everyone who’s supported me along the way. I hope you’ll still enjoy my posts. It just won’t be daily any more. Thanks for understanding. ❤️ Don’t forget my webzine has screen reader friendly reviews if you know anyone who is low vision that hasn’t been able to enjoy beauty content before. They can learn tips, tricks, and about new products and brands!

Products gifted for free by Pantene in exchange for my honest review. This one definitely did me dirty. I followed the instructions, rubbed the conditioner between my hands to activate the beads before applying to my hair. It was meant to be a repairing conditioner? My hair tangled horrible when I was trying to comb it in. I have no idea why the conditioner messed up my hair so bad other than the formulation was not good.

Products were gifted for free by the brand CKD Guaranteed and the Picky app in exchange for my honest reviews.
If you can’t tell from the pics I had some issues with the mask, so I had to take off at least one star from my review. I had to cut it because the eye holes were too small and kept slipping down into my eyes. I also ended up accidentally tearing the mask when I was trying to reposition it. And the nose flap kept flipping into my nose whenever I breathed through my nose. 😂 So next time I wear one, I know I need to cut it down even though it was already a two piece mask. I have a small face, so I was surprised the eye holes were too small (even after repositioning). But if you have a longer nose than mine, this would probably work out perfectly!
The scent was really strong on both products, and a lot of you know by now that strongly scented skincare isn’t for me. This smelled overwhelming floral and gave me a tickle in the back of my throat. I also disliked how sticky this mask left my skin feeling. You do have to wear the mask for a half an hour. I thought it was cool that the mask changed color when it’s ready to come off. But it felt like my skin did not want to absorb the essence from this mask, even when I applied a moisturizer on top of it. This only got a three star rating from me.
For the neck cream, I like the fact that it is a stainless steel roller since it is easier to sanitize. Including the term “gua sha” on a simple massage tool is inaccurate. A gua sha is a particular tool from Chinese medicine, not a simple massage tool like this one. The scent was just as strong on this one as the face mask, which was something I didn’t like on this product as well. And this one made me break out and feel itchy. I ended up being a little disappointed by both products.

These three products offer a unique technology. They are meant to mimic micro-needling technology from the comfort of home. The 100 formula is meant to be applied daily, and is the gentlest of the three formulas. The 300 formula is meant to be applied every three days. The 700 formula is meant to be applied once every seven days. If you want to try this line, I definitely suggest educating yourself on them first. There are more than just these three products offered by the brand as well (including an ampoule).
It is worth noting that this line of products is meant to be the first step of your skincare routine after a cleanser. If you want this in your routine and you use a toner, a toner may impact the efficacy of the Reedle formula if the toner is applied after. I think use them at different steps of your skincare routine. (I am including this on each of my three reviews as I think that this is important product education that wasn’t included on the box’s information. That is why I am also including safety information taken from the product’s Amazon page.) I hope including the Amazon infographics helps anyone who maybe didn’t know much about these products.
The gentlest of the three products, the 100 formula was the one my sensitive skin could handle best. During my patch test, the 700 burned the most, and I decided not to use it on my face. The 300 also tingled and led to my face turning blotchy and red after I had applied this formula. I made sure not to use actives with this line, even though it is meant to help your actives absorb better. It is meant to be sensitive skin safe, and this was not for me. But I was still thankful to get to learn about such a unique line.

Special thanks to Vertex Beauty for sending me these brushes to try out! Of course I jumped and said yes, because 1) I love a good eyeliner tool! 2) I’m always looking for good makeup brushes for my collection. The eyeliner tool is just under $5, the eyebrow brush is $4, the eyeliner brush set is $10, and the eyebrow brush kit is also $10. So this is a super affordable brand. I think most of you know by now that I love a good makeup brush/makeup tool that is multi-functional. And you get that with these products! The eyeliner tool is dual sided, so you can use it on both sides. But the handle doubles as a nose contour tool, if you’re worried about your contour not applying straight, this is the perfect solution for you! I love a good versatile tool, and these tools have multiple uses. So be prepared for more videos in the near future!
You can watch my tutorial on Instagram or Tiktok.

Where do I even start? This is an amazing product! Minimal scent, no white cast, super lightweight, and easily rubs into the skin. It left my skin looking nice and hydrated, besides the obvious protection from the sun’s rays. This has definitely entered my top three SPFs of 2024 (I know it’s early, but definitely stock up now if you plan on getting a lot of sun this summer). You can watch my full one minute video review on Instagram or Tiktok.
