MOMENTS OF BREEZINESS | PART 1
Tumblr media
(𓇼𓏲*ੈ✩‧₊˚🎐) tags: fem!reader, fluff, slight OOC, usage of japanese terms, teenager Geto, no y/n usage. word count: 1,4k
(⭒✮⭒) synopsis: beautiful moments of your youth you'll cherish forever. after all those years, you still remember the day Geto's made a move on you
GETO SUGURU, JULY 2006
♫₊˚.🎧 ✧ now playing: Lemon Demon - Fine
that was a hot, boiling hot summer day. no matter how many years you've lived in Japan — july with all its humidity combined with high temperatures has never become more bearable for you nor for the locals. you wore a white cotton sundress, which was pretty opposite to your common dark purple jujutsu academy uniform. no loose hair, no fashionable boots, even no backpack: you put all the efforts into fighting the insufferable heat, yet it still wasn't enough. dripping sweat, you impatiently tapped your leg, enjoying the satisfating sound of a shoe platform knocking against the dry ground.
higher ups, being the insensitive jerks they were, sent you and your classmate Geto, who was considered a special grade unlike you, the second grade sorcerer, off to Enoshima island. due to packing up in 30 minutes before getting on a train and spending an hour on the entire way in the dead of night, you felt drained out and sore. fighting the curses wasn't very tough with Geto by your side yet you still were exhausted and the weather didn't help. currently it was 13:12 — the worst part of the day where sane people stay in the coolness of their homes or working places but you were a sorcerer, so no sagacity coming from you should be expected. after all, the "tough times bring opportunities" principle guided you throughout life and how could you lose an opportunity to have fun at Enoshima island?
although waiting for a bus for almost 40 minutes made you reconsider your decision. maybe you shouldn't risk getting a sunstroke and chill in the quitness off your hotel like Suguru instead? during sunrise, after you two have completed your mission, you suggested him to go with you, but Geto politely declined, saying that swallowing curses is incredibly energy-consuming so he would prefer to have a nap before heading back to Tokyo.
"well, your loss," you shrugged shoulders nonchalantly, to which he only chuckled. now you've realized Geto was the one to make a smart choice.
you were already stepping away from the bus stop, internally giving up on the beach, but sudden sound of a ring bell and squeak of wheels accompanying it grabbed your attention.
"this dress suits you a lot, ojou-chan," familiar soft-spoken voice immediately made you turn back. Geto Suguru himself was sitting on the saddle: he jauntily flipped his gorgeous, half-bun half-down hair, swang his leg over the seat and came up to you, dragging the bike along by its handlebar.
"Geto-kun!" you gasped. "didn't you stay at the hotel? and what's with ojou-chan?" him complimenting you like this was very flustering, since usually Suguru was the calm and even a bit aloof one in your class, unlike his best friend Gojo.
"i did. it's just that thoughts of you being at Enoshima's lively coast all alone overwhelmed me, so I decided to at least watch over if anything happens. and i have to get something for Satoru and Ieri too: can you imagine Satoru's whinings if I returned from oh so famous Enoshima island empty-handed? he would act insufferable," Geto started fanning himself with his shirt which indicated the heat getting at him too. for a second you peeked at his bare chiseled abs before he stopped with the billowing. "talking of ojou-chan... it's quite fitting for someone with looks as mesmerizing as yours," is it for real? is that the proper yet distant man you've always shared classroom with in Tokyo Jujutsu High or you are hallucinating because of the heat?
"oh, dear... it's really unlikely for you to, ugh-" you pondered whether you should just straight-forwardly call it "flirting" or mess around the bush for awhile, "to speak in such manner, if you know what i mean," due to sheepishness your voice was barely above a whisper yet Geto still heard it.
"hm? i have no clue about what are you talking about," Suguru blinked innocently, batting his awfully long eyelashes. 'of course he knows!' you thought to yourself, and his teasings (as additional source of heat) almost made steam go out of your ears.
"y-you!.. anyways, we are not going to the beach. i'm already overheated, and it won't get better unless i have some mugicha and well-deserved rest in my hotel room," sometimes stubborness is meaningless, and this is the exact moment when you should give up and change plans. "you can go alone if you are still interested but I'm heading back."
"i'm not interested in going anywhere without you," Geto simply stated. his casual behaviour didn't go with flirty speeches, and you hadn't have an idea on how to act around him from now on. you've always been on good terms with each other, yes, but your bonds were not that strong. it was Satoru who complemented Suguru like yin and yang and you spent most of the time with Shoko. "how about a nice joyride? me, you, Enoshima's scenery. it won't take long yet will make the heat go away," he tossed his hair once again and the bun fell over; before you could've reacted, Geto put hair tie in his mouth and started pulling his hair back to make a proper bun. you stared in awe, unable to take your eyes off him. the definition of "beauty", standing right in front of you, looked like a model. now you could understand Gojo's obsession with collecting Waka Inoue's DVD's where she walked around some pretty scenery wearing a bikini or a tiny dress. if Suguru was filmed like that, you would buy this DVD and rewatch the video daily.
"is there something on my face?" he raised an eyebrow and realization of your latest thoughts and actions hit you.
"u-ugh, no! nothing's there! i was just...uh...contemplating, yeah. contemplating it is," your awkward mumbling made the male smirk.
"contemplating me? wow, i feel so honored. though being watched under your rigorous gaze is somewhat awkward," nothing in Suguru's smug expression showed awkwardness. towering over you, blinding you with his eye-catching looks (which he was fully aware of and not oblivious as he pretended to be at Jujutsu High), Geto drowned you deeper in insanity caused by the heat. he wasn't Satoru so you couldn't smack him though you really wanted to.. "how about contemplating my suggestion, hm?"
"I'd like to accept it but there is one tiny obstacle.." fine, let it be! if he acts like a player and toys around, why can't you have a little game? "it's illegal to ride a bike with a passenger without actual second seat, and I can't see another bike with you. what a bad, bad guy you are, violating the law", you playfully chided at him.
"if I'm the bad guy, there must be a goodie two shoes to set me down, right?" he chuckled, but then gave you a cunning grin. "seems like it isn't that hot. i assume you can handle such heat effortlessly, isn't it? if so, i might just continue my bike-stroll. bye-bye-e-"
"hey, wait! no backsies, i'm going with you!", you interrupted Geto by grabbing his sleeve — he was already preparing to push off and ride away.
"so you ended up joining a criminal?" Suguru faked a disappointed look while you were making yourself comfortable on a back of his saddle.
"from now on, we are an outlaw couple," you nod seriously not without a cheeky streak to it.
"and how about being a couple in general?" the way he asked this so lightly had butterflies in your stomach awoken.
not wanting to give in into his antics, you replied in the same jiggish manner, like it was just some pleasantry-exchange and not the event which would make you circle today's date on the calendar with a postscript 'best day in my life!', "i'll consider it... after a nice trip, of course."
"then hold on tightly. we don't want you falling off and getting injured, so put your hands as if you are hugging me and don't want to let go," following Geto's instructions, you couldn't help but notice how intensively his heart was beating, almost hitting his ribs.
"as if? and what if i don't want to let you go for real?" you naughtily grinned, burying yourself in the nape of his back. you've never ever been that close. now you could smell his soap, light airy fragrance filling your nostrils with each inhale.
"oh dear. you are flattering me," vibrations from Suguru's chuckle made you feel all giddy and giggly. "do it like you mean it, then!" with those words Geto pushed off the ground and Enoshima's views quickly turned into fast-changing panorama, sea breeze clearing your lungs.
*ojou-chan — semi-formal way for an older people to address young women. depending on context, can be translated like "young lady" or "cute little girl" with a bit of indulgence (?)
* mugicha — roasted-grain-based infusion made from barley. has a toasty, bitter flavor.

being tojis servant.. you have a big fat fucking crush on him.
being tojis servant.. he sleeps in. all the fucking time, and constantly grumbles that you wake him up. he just doesn't understand its literally your job to take care of him. he needs pushing.
being tojis servant.. means you find little 'presents' in his bed. pink thongs you never have even dared to wear, jammed in between his mattress and bed frame.
being tojis servant.. he simply smirks at you when you berate him for being so careless with his girlfriends coming over, when you walked in on them making out. and because you were full with jealousy.
being tojis servant.. he barely even remembers your name, but you always wait for him while he has to attend some meeting or lesson.
being tojis servant.. means you hide his favorite candy around his room in places you know he'll find. you've been doing this since he got that scar on his lip.
being tojis servant.. he sees you one day in your regular clothes, not that drab servants outfit you wear all the time. you're just wearing a sweater and some fitted jeans, but damn, he just realizes what he's been missing these past years.
being tojis servant.. he's practically jumping for joy when naobito finally upgrades the uniforms, you get the wrong size and it's incredibly tight on you.
being tojis servant.. he won't let you go anywhere near naoya after he realizes how pretty you actually are.
being tojis servant.. you're washing the dishes one day, and he lingered around, making small talk. you accidentally let it slip you've kind of had a thing... with the baker's son and you saw him making out with the butlers daughter.
being tojis servant.. toji doesn't have too much power in the zenin clan, but he has enough to fire the baker.
being tojis servant.. he's more talkative with you, lingering around you while you're cleaning his room or something.
being tojis servant.. he doesn't know what has came over him, but he can't stop thinking about you in that uniform.
being tojis servant.. he asks you to serve him in his bedroom. you, who grew up with only ever interacting with the old bat naobito, toji, and your mother, simply looks at him, confused. "but i already cleaned your room, master toji."
being tojis servant.. likes to tease you with innuendos and euphemisms that you take literally. "...rumble in the jungle? this is Japan."
being tojis servant.. means he consoles you on a particularly rough night remembering your ex. he can't help himself, taking advantage of your weakness. he knows, he knows how you feel about him, and he can't waste any more time with you.
being tojis servant.. he kisses down your spine as you sit away from him on his lap, untying your robes ever so carefully.
being tojis servant.. you blush as he presses gentle kisses on your breasts, the heat between your legs aching. he's never been the type to be gentle, but he's treating you so delicately.
being tojis servant.. means you can barely move your legs as you ride him.
being tojis servant.. he promises he'll just put in the tip, after 4 different rounds of either you riding him, him eating you out or fingering you.
being tojis servant.. he runs a nice bath for you as an apology for being a bit too fast, kissing your hand as he washes your hair.
being tojis servant.. you wake up with him holding you close, and you're not even mad that he's sleeping in again.
being tojis girlfriend.. you two run away from the zenin clan together.

4 years later..
You pull Megumi’s hat over his ears to protect them from the cold and squeeze his body closer in your arms. “My mom can’t watch him today, she’s got a doctor's appointment. Shoko and Geto are working right now, too! I promise he won’t cause any trouble. He can sit in a booth while I’m working. Pleeeease, Nanami! You know he’s a good kid!” You beg your boss. He looks down at you and your son, contemplating which rules this would violate.
It’s Gojo who comes to your defense.
“Come on Nanamiiii, I can help her keep an eye on him! You won’t have any problems, my Megumi is the sweetest little thing, aren’t you baby? Aren’t you?” He leans over to squeeze Megumi’s cheek until Megumi turns his head into your chest to escape Gojo’s teasing.
Gojo had taken up working at the diner with you after he dropped out of college on account of, “My family has enough money for me to never have to work again. Why would I waste it in college when I can spend my youth working a minimum wage job for fun?”
You and Shoko had punched him in the face for that one.
“Any disruptions to the customers and you’ll have to figure something else out, Y/N. This is a one time thing. Gojo, don’t let the kid be a distraction to you. You need to stop forgetting you have tables all the time.” You smile and give Gojo a victory high five. “Are you excited to spend the day with mama, Megumi?”
Megumi had turned four a couple of weeks ago. You two now lived in your own modest apartment. It was close to your mother’s house and your job. Usually your mother would keep Megumi for you during work hours, and when that wasn’t available Gojo, Geto, or Shoko would help you out. With all four contenders busy, there was no choice but for you to bring Megumi with you to work. Babysitters and daycare were out of the question on your salary of shitty tips. You could barely afford the apartment. The only way you could get furniture into it was on a loan from Gojo (which he refused to let you pay back).
You, Nanami and Gojo walk into the back of the building through the kitchen to punch in. “Our little Megumi’s gonna be joining us today!” Gojo announces to the kitchen staff, mainly comprised of high school students and Hakari. You hear various coos as you walk Megumi through the kitchen. “Can you say ‘hi,’ baby?” You whisper to Megumi through his knitted hat.
He pulls his face from the interior of your sweater and meekly waves to the staff, who all burst into bright smiles. There had been a few times your mother had brought Gumi to the diner to see you during hours, meaning the staff had not only heard of, but had seen Megumi around quite a bit.
Megumi, unlike his father, was incredibly shy and quiet even for his young age. He was one of the best babies you could ever ask for. He cried of course, even had a nasty case of colic when he was little, but on average he cried far less than a normal kid. For a while you were concerned, bringing him to every doctor your insurance would allow to get second opinion after second opinion. Their conclusion? It’s just his personality.
"It seems like he cried all his tears out during his first couple of weeks!" One doctor had joked. Yeah, so had you.
Every time you looked at Megumi, you saw Toji. Their resemblance was undeniable. Sometimes it felt as if he hadn’t inherited a single genetic trait from you. Some days, it made you more sad than others. You hadn’t seen any baby pictures of Toji, didn’t think his family even owned any, but if you had to guess, Megumi had to be the spitting image. You’d see old classmates you hadn’t talked to in years only for them to comment on how much they resembled each other. Not knowing about you and Toji's dramatic breakup.
You and Gojo punch in and take off your coats to hang them up on the rack. Yuki, one of your newer coworkers, bursts through the door with a few empty water glasses. “Agh, thank god you two are here!” She exclaims, setting them down by the sink. “I’ve got this table of guys that are driving me batshit. The kitchen guys don’t get it. I need a freakin’ break.”
You giggle at her and take off Megumi’s hat from where you’re holding him on your hip. “I can take the next one!” You hang up Megumi’s hat next to your coat. “Just let me get him situated.” Yuki gasps and runs over to you. “Hi Megumi! I’ve heard so much about you! It’s nice to meet you, I’m Yuki! Oh my god, Y/N he’s so freakin’ cute!” She exclaims.
Gojo and Yuki get to talking shit about her table while you walk out onto the floor to choose a booth for Megumi to sit. You choose the one furthest from the door and closest to the kitchen and set him down on a side where you’ll be able to see him clearly for the majority of your shift. “Okay Gumi, I’m gonna be working but I’m gonna come over and check on you a lot too, okay?” You set your bag next to him and pull out a few toys and a coloring book. “I’ll get the kitchen guys to sneak you some food, okay?” He nods and grabs a blue crayon from his half empty box. “Okay, mama.” He replies in the sweetest voice you've ever heard.
You give him a kiss on his forehead and move a piece of his hair behind his ear before moving to the other side of the booth and adjusting your waist apron. “Y/N, you got table three.” Yuki announced. You looked behind you to see Gojo and Yuki approaching Megumi’s table. “Megumiiiii! What are you coloring?” Gojo slid into the seat next to Megumi and his toys.
“How many?” You asked Yuki. “Just two.” She responded, “The one guy’s hot, maybe you could get laid tonight.” You scoffed. “First of all, don’t say shit like that on the floor when we have customers who may hear you.” You give her a pointed look, “secondly, you’re too young to be talking about intercourse. You’re like twelve.” You smile at her and turn around to go greet your table.
“I’m literally 18!” Yuki exclaims as you walk away.
“Exactly the point!” Gojo responds for you.
You pull out your server book as you approach your table and click your pen. “Hi, I’m Y/N, welcome to-” when you look up, you freeze.
First, you see Jinichi, Toji’s brother. When your eyes move over to the other side of the booth, you see him in the flesh for the first time in five years.
He’s looking down at the table, so you can’t see his face, but from his build alone you can see he’s almost doubled in muscle mass since you last saw him. His hair is longer, bangs falling over his eyes, and he sports a black muscle tee to show off how much he has bulked up over the years. He's intentionally avoiding your gaze.
All the feelings you’ve felt over these five years, anger, rage, resentment, loss, pain, sadness. They all come rushing back at once. Five years of wondering what he was up to while you stayed up with Megumi as a newborn when he had colic and wouldn’t stop crying for almost a month straight. As you operated on auto pilot and almost cried when you saw him smile again. As you cared for him through his first flu, which you had eventually caught too. Rushing him to the hospital for a slight rise in temperature as your mother convinced you over the phone that everything would be okay and you sobbed hysterically. When Megumi took his first steps, when he said his first word. You always thought of Toji.
How would he have reacted? You may not have trusted him, but you don’t think he’d be a particularly bad father if he were to put in the effort. Every time Megumi smiles, every time he frowns, it looks like Toji has walked right back into your life. When you two talked about kids, it was never very serious. You always talked about the idyllic. How many you’d have, what their names would be, if you’d move out to the countryside so they’d have space to play. You never discussed how you wanted to raise them, how you two would afford it, if Toji would stop dealing.
“Well, well, fucking well!” Jinichi starts. “This is just fucking hilarious!” You can see Toji tense up where his elbows rest on the table. Jinichi leaned back in his seat looking back and forth between you and Toji. “High school fucking sweethearts! Look at this shit, Toji, that's your girl right there! Hey Y/N-” Before Jinichi can finish his sentence, Toji bangs his hands on the table, making the condiment bottles rattle loudly, and bringing the entire restaurant's attention towards the three of you. Toji mumbles something under his breath that you can’t pick up. You’re still physically frozen in place.
Jinichi had always been an asshole. Toji didn’t like you to go over to his house for multiple reasons relating to his family, but one of the major ones was because of his brother. Jinichi always had a smart mouth. Liked to put dumb ideas in Toji’s head, one of which was the one that eventually got him shot and bleeding out on your bedsheets.
“Ahh, come on little brother. You’re so intense nowadays. We’re here for a good ol-”
“We’re here for fucking business, Jinichi. Shut the fuck up. We don’t want nothin’.” Toji says, finally addressing you without even looking your way. You feel someone grab onto your shoulder and quickly turn to see Gojo. He gently pulls you away from the table.
“I- I didn’t-” you begin, before Gojo can even get you five feet from the table, Jinichi is back at it. “Hey, what the hell, don’t take my waitress! I ain’t ordered nothin’ yet! Hey Y/N, you look good by the way! Usually girls get ugly after they have babies!”
It’s so sudden and quick that if you weren’t five steps away, you wouldn’t have seen it at all. Toji leans over the table, somehow calmly and aggressively at the same time, to grab his brother by the collar of his shirt. “That’s enough. Don’t make me fucking tell you again.” He says, his tone quiet and deadly.
All you can think about is Megumi, where the fuck is Megumi? He’s your priority right now. Your head whips toward Megumi’s table, where you see Yuki with her hand on Megumi’s shoulder as he watches you intensely.
“Fuck. Gumi.” You whisper to yourself.
You pull away from Gojo’s grasp to race toward your son. “Mama..” he whispers as you reach him and pull him tightly into a hug. “It’s okay honey. Don’t worry about it.” You firmly grasp the back of his neck to ground yourself. This is exactly why you had said all those things you said to Toji all those years ago. You didn’t want your child growing up in an unstable environment. You didn’t want Toji’s issues to be a cause of stress for yourself or for Megumi. It'd be slightly different if these were two random guys in the diner. Sure, you'd shield Megumi if it got intense, but the fact that one was his father made the hair on the back of your neck stand up at the slightest movement.
“You look sad mama. Did the big men hurt you?” You laugh at his innocence. “No, baby. They didn’t hurt me.” They did hurt you. In a deep emotional way that you didn’t feel like explaining to a four year old right now. “Let's go honey, little kids shouldn’t see this.”
“I’m a little kid, right?” He asks. “Yes, you are.”
“What the hell is going on?” You hear a booming voice come from the kitchen door and see Nanami walking towards Toji’s table. “Nothings going on!” Jinichi yells. “You know how the little brothers are, always got a goddamned inferiority complex goin’ on or somethin’!” Toji still has a grasp on his shirt as Jinichi is yelling at Nanami.
“I’m going to have to ask you two to leave.” Nanami says calmly. “I ain’t fucking leaving. I came here for some fuckin’ service from my brother’s old-” Suddenly, Jinichi’s head is being slammed onto the table, and a collective gasp is aroused from the restauraunt.
“Come, Gumi.” You pick him up in your arms. “Yuki, can you pack his stuff up for me please?” You ask as you contemplate your next move. “Of course, of course.” You can’t head to the front or kitchen door without Gumi potentially seeing more violence. You would have to rush past in the hopes that nothing else happens while you’re moving by. The kitchen door is closer from here, less potential for Megumi to see anything.
“Ok, Gumi. Can you close your eyes for me real quick, baby?” You ask, rubbing his back. “Ok, mama.” You move Megumi so that his face is pressed to your chest and book it toward the kitchen door. You hear more commotion as you pass by, but will yourself not to turn around and check. Gojo and Yuki follow you in from behind with your bag. When you’re in the kitchen, you’re quick to set Megumi on the ground to grab his hat and secure it on his head.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N, I never would’ve given you that table if I knew.” She apologizes as she hands you your bag. You laugh. “It’s not your fault Yuki. By the way, remember what I said about no intercourse? You wanna implement that policy because of fuckers like him-” “Mama!” Megumi chastises. “Sorry, bad word.” Yuki lets out a relieved sigh.
“I didn’t even see them walk in, Y/N-” Gojo starts. “Oh my gosh guys, it's not a big deal! Seriously, I’m just worried about Gumi seeing anything.” Even as you say this, your hands shake as you attempt to zip up Megumi’s coat. Gojo gives you a knowing look and grabs your own coat off the rack for you.
“I just, um, need a little break. I can’t afford to lose out on the money tonight.” You say, grabbing your coat from him and sliding it on. “I’ll cover you-” Gojo starts, but you interrupt. “I’m not taking money from your family, Gojo!” You pick up Megumi and hold him on your hip. “I’m not saying that. I’ll split the tips from tonight with you. My apology for not seeing them before.”
“No, Gojo.”
Nanami walks in the kitchen door. “Take the day off,” he says to you before walking back to his office. “No, Nanami I’m ok I’ll just take him to my mom’s really quick-”
“You’re too shaken up to do anything else today. I’ll schedule you more next week to make up for it.” Nanami supplies. “Thank you.” You say, silently relieved. Was your distress seriously that obvious? You would have to tone it down in front of Gumi.
“Wooow Nanami you’re such a good manager-”
“Can it Gojo, you’re gonna have to pick up the slack tonight.”
You’re already making your way out the back of the building when Gojo responds with a whine.
“Hey what the hells going on out there?” Hakari asks as you walk by. “Some bullshit.” You respond. “Mama!”
You weren’t even in the building for thirty minutes today, but it feels thirty degrees cooler when you walk out. The trek to the bus stop is gonna suck.
It's a ten minute walk from the diner to the bus stop. You cling onto Megumi for warmth, making sure he's buried not only in his own coat, but in yours. When you get to the bus stop, you realize it’s gonna be another fifteen minutes before the bus comes. Megumi isn’t one to complain, but you can feel him shivering under you. “Just a little longer baby.” You soothe him, rapidly rubbing his back and arms in an attempt to warm him.
It must be some sick joke for an old pickup truck to pull right in front of the bus stop and roll its window down.
“Do you need a ride?” Toji asks.
You've gotta be fucking kidding.

„ ♪ Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but you gave it away the very next day..“ New Year songs could've been heard everywhere. Layers of snowy crystals covered roofs and columns, fences and street lamps, making the light fuzzy. It's been six months since you left your homeland and went to university in another city. Yes, unlike your quiet little town with no kind of gaities and very few inhabitants who all knew each other, the city had much more to offer: wild parties every night, tons of cafes and restaurants, huge 20-floor shopping centers and different varieties of professional paths to follow. But your heart belonged to the calm peace of the town, soft sunbeams in the mornings, endless pinkish sky with plum-colored fluffy clouds — such dear memories were engraved in your soul. And, of course, your constant source of warmth whenever loneliness of an outsider hit you too hard was your childhood friendship with Thoma.
Thoma, who's hair reminded you of straws, who's green eyes shined brightly, who's genuine smile painted your cheeks with a prominent blush. Although you never communicated since he moved, reminiscence of your innocent tender bonds was still precious to you.
"Does he even remember me?" you wondered at times, looking up at the sky, gazing upon stars, so close yet so far, just like Thoma himself.

You were 7, he was 9. He was a "big boy" with responsibilities much bigger than yours. His family wasn't very financially stable: the father went missing two years ago, the mother worked two jobs so she appeared at home just to sleep and to cook something for her son, who also worked hard everyday, mowing lawns and walking dogs in order to get some money.
Your family was totally opposite. Huge inheritance allowed your parents to live as they pleased, going on trips every year and spoiling their beloved daughter — you — with tons of clothes, toys and sweets. At times, when you acted capriciously, your mom scoldingly reminded you of poor Thoma.
"Honey, you shouldn't take everything for granted. You are living a very comfortable life, unlike some people who weren't born that lucky. Think of the neighbor’s boy! Only two years older yet already working. Behave and take an example"
You sobbed yet didn't start crying in rage like you always did. After all, mom was right. Sometimes, on snowy winter evenings, you could see Thoma from your balcony. He cleared snow with a shovel twice his size. You never saw him playing with other kids or doing silly things natural for his age. Actually, he didn't have friends at all due to being constantly busy.
Christmas arrived, and your parents showered you with gifts on this occasion. Wearing new boots, cute hat and a coat, you went out into the yard to build a snowman. You saw a glimpse similar to a dark spot on a pure white snow. It turned out to be Thoma, dressed in some rags — the boy carried heavy packages, which was visibly difficult for him.
"Lemme help ya," you volunteered out of nowhere, grabbing a package's strap.
"You sure? It's heavy..." he hesitantly mumbled.
"I'm billion percent sure. Let's be friends!" you blurted out, steam curling out of your mouth.
Thoma froze in place. It was the first time ever anyone suggested to befriend him. You two were breathing heavily, dragging bundle along the street in quietness. You started feeling worried due to him keeping silent, but suddenly cheery voice interrupted the hush:
"Sure, let's be friends! What's your name?" Thoma smiled widely, exposing teeth.
You introduced yourself, and that was the day your life has entirely changed.
Tumblr media
You were 11, he was 13. Even after enrolling into middle school and making friends with his peers Thoma still valued you the most. He picked you up after classes, treated to home-made meals, played games with you and helped when it came to studying. School wasn't easy for him. Working part-time and taking care of his mother in a hangover took all of his free time. Thoma expected you to dump him: after all, he was unable to go to cafes and amusement parks, buy you gifts and share candies. He couldn't endure your saddened face and pouty cheeks without heart ache whenever he told you he wouldn't have time to go play with you.
But what Thoma did not expect was you acting on the contrary.
"Oh, you are such a good boy!" your mother giggled, patting his head. You invited him to a sleepover in your house every week, and he finally gained an opportunity to shower in warm water, eat a proper dinner and not some semi-finished products thrown in one plate, sleep for full 8 hours..Your parents were incredibly kind and caring, considerate yet never intrusive. Here, in your place, Thoma felt loved, loved unconditionally. You two enjoyed your cocoa with marshmallow, cooked slightly crooked gingerbread and decorated the Christmas Tree all together.
“Who do you think you will be in the future, Thoma?” you asked one evening, when two of you were busy with baking a pie.
“Uh, wait, wait a second! One last thing… Here,” he spread out dough strips, “closing” the pie. “Who will I be in the future, you said? Ha-ha, to be honest.. I don’t really know. I hope I’ll work with kids or manage domestic stuff, cuz I enjoy doing it,” he chuckled, fixing his apron. “Hey, you are all in flour! Give me a second, I’ll wipe it off,” the boy reached out to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear and swiped the flour away. His touch sent shivers down your spine, as if you got hit with electricity.
“And who do you think you’ll be?” Thoma questioned.
“Hm… I want to become a teacher one day. Or a doctor,” «or your significant other», you added mentally.
“You are so hard-working, I’m sure you’ll succeed!” he smiled encouragely and patted you on the shoulder.
Tumblr media
You were 14, he was 16. From shy and ordinary guy Thoma became popular, quick-witted and got admired for his nice sunny personality. You, on the other hand, had grown up reserved and quiet. That, whatsoever, didn’t break your friendship.
“Hey, pumpkin, forgetting your lunch box becomes a habit!”
Of course you recognized this upbeat voice. Who else would’ve called you a pumpkin?
When you turned your gaze up to your desk, there was a cute box in sight and widely smiling blond.
“Aww, come on, Thoma, you didn’t have to!” you sighed dramatically, although internally you were screaming, feeling flattered from such solicitude.
“I have to, because I care about your health, silly,” he gently ruffled your hair, avoiding ruining your hairstyle. “Let’s have a meal before lunch break ends, okay? I’ll stay here with you, no worries, we won’t go to the cafeteria,” he added immediately after noticing barely evident hints of your anxiety.
“...thanks, Thoma. Let’s see what you’ve prepared for me,” with that, you opened the box.. and your heart started pulsing like you have run a marathon.
Absolutely adorable salad with different vegetables, cut in some cute shapes. The dedication and efforts, invested in this dish, were obvious. You nearly teared up. No one has ever did something like that for you.
“H-hey, is everything alright? You’ve turned pale…” Thoma asked in concerned tone.
“No, no, not at all! It’s just so sweet of you.. Thank you so much. I can’t make myself eat such masterpiece..”
“Hold on, kid! You need to eat, otherwise I might spoon feed you,” once in a while Thoma acted mischievously, and you couldn’t predict this behavior. He was never mean, of course, but teasing certainly had a place in moments like this.
“And how about feeding me from mouth to mouth, huh?” you teased him back with a sly grin.
Thoma reddened: the color of his face was similar to the color of his jacket.
“Ah-ha-ha… You are quite naughty, aren’t you?” you could feel the heat emanating from his body.
“And what if so?” you cheekily raised your eyebrow.
“I assume a kiss will be able to erase this smirk from your face,” the boy tried to get his composure back, but failed miserably, stumbling his words and awkwardly fidgeting.
“Try it, so we could discuss the truthfulness of your statement”
“Um… maybe next time, ha-ha…”
To Thoma’s luck, the bell rang, so he ran out of the classroom, leaving you alone and flustered.
“Don’t forget to eat, pumpkin!”
Since that day you two have never brought up this accident, even though having lunch with Thoma became a daily routine.
Tumblr media
You were 16, he was 18. He was embracing you tightly, despite the uncomfortable proximity under the boiling sun.
“I’ll miss you, pumpkin,” he mumbled, and you could tell he was being honest — every wrinkle, every muscle of his face depicted the dreary sorrow of parting. Even though his 12 years old Nokia phone still worked, you heavily doubted it would function properly. Yet you still hoped for the best.
“Thoma, dear.. Please, call or text me as soon as possible. It’s dull without you,” tears flowed on their own, and you couldn’t help it.
Suddenly you sensed some soft sensation against your skin. There was no need to look up to understand what was it. You closed your eyes and indulged in bubbly pleasure.
Thoma was your first best friend.
Thoma was your first Valentine, though you both considered it to be a friendly one.
Thoma was the first person apart of your family to cook for you.
Everything important in your life was about him.
And now, he granted you your first kiss.
“I love you,” his green eyes watered just like yours. “When I graduate, I’ll come back for you. Do you agree?”, you grabbed his calloused hands and squeezed them.
“Yes. Yes, of course”
Tumblr media
Two years have passed since then. There were no news from Thoma nor texts or calls. He simply disappeared from the world. Both of his parents rested in peace, and they didn’t have any relatives, so wondering about his fate was all you’ve got to do. Your messages never got delivered.
“Sorry, the number you dialed does not exist,” you heard this voice line so many times it annoyed you to no end. You cried out of frustration, you felt numbness and anger, and finally, you accepted the entire situation.
Maybe he dumped you.
Maybe something happened to him.
You won’t know until his studying finishes.
Graduating from high school, passing exams, enrolling into university — you went through everything all by yourself with support from your parents.
Sipping coffee and sinking in your unhappy thoughts, you didn’t pay attention to any of the cafe visitors — after all, it was way too far from yor home, there was no chance to meet your countryman.
With the bell tickle, which announced the emergence of new client, loud fast speech could have been heard:
“Yoimiya, I’m so sorry! I left my place on time, it’s just that traffic accident with a mongrel dog occured, I had to take poor animal to the vet-”
This voice.
You stared upon the guest in disbelief.
Blond hair. Red coat. Black bandana which looked like horns. Pitiful smile. Green eyes.
“Oh, dear God, Thoma! Is everything okay? Is the doggie alright?! Ugh, how could this be?..” fair-headed young lady came out of the stall and jumped forward the man.
“Wait,” he shook his head as if he was trying to get rid of weird delusions. But that was not a delusion.
“Is this…” his voice lowered to husky whisper, eyes widened in shock.
“...Thoma?” you stood up on shaking legs.

Childe had long since become numb to the coldness of Snezhnaya; in fact, he welcomed it. The cold had always reminded him of you.
He had spent fourteen days endlessly searching for you in the vast forest that surrounded the village. The number of search parties had dwindled as more and more people lost faith in finding you. Now it was just him alone in the wild, searching for someone who was most likely dead.
He had long since accepted the fact that his best friend was most likely dead. As a harbinger, death was nothing new to him, but this was different—this was you.
He stood in a vast clearing, staring at the snow-covered ground. He hadn't even realized he was crying until the tears froze. In front of him lay a single piece of cloth—the familiar scarf his mother had knitted for you for your twelfth birthday. He kneeled down, grabbing it from the snow. He let out a choked sob.
"Please don't leave me."

LYNEY, LYNETTE, FREMINET × YOU, THEIR BELOVED
fluff, slight mentions of stalking (?)
Tumblr media
Lyney never repeats same tricks, always coming up with new repertoire every show. Although.. you are an exception, the only person he doesn't mind rehearsing old tricks to. If you ask Lyney to show "that one super cool thingie!!" he'll do it without a second thought. He never thinks twice when it comes to your desires.
And whenever you are feeling down, Lyney is always there for you. If there are tears rolling down your cheeks, the magician pulls a handkerchief out of thin air and whipes it away gently.
"Ma chérie, you can cry as much as needed — I am here for you, but remember: even though you are undesrcibingly beautiful, smile really adorns your face", — somehow Lyney materializes a rainbow rose out of his pocket and presents it to you.
Tumblr media
Lynette is always observing, keeping the tiniest details in her mind. Constantly noting minor changes, paying attention to circumstances is what she must do in order to fulfill her duties to the Father. Even though it may be selfish, Lynette mostly watches over you. Your every move, every blink, every sound — you don't want to know what she has found out about your persona. She needs to know everything about you to keep you safe (yes, this includes info such as your favourite color, favourite dessert and clothes you prefer to wear. Trust her!). Lynette is also the first one to take congnizance of changes in you. No need to tell her you've got a new haircut, got hurt or bought new jewellery — she already knows.
Lynette also notes to herself different traits of yours. If you waste time passing some silly quizzes and receive questions such as "how do your friends perceive you?", she appears out of nowhere to think for a few minutes and then gives you a serious, honest answer.
"Lynette, which object am I?"
"Lynette, which lyric fits me the best?"
"Lynette, who am I? Soldier, poet or king?"
Young lady's patience and seriousness during answering all this questions makes you melt.
Tumblr media
Freminet's top priority is your well-being. He does everything to lessen your burden, spends days and nights trying to invent mechanisms which decrease the time you spend doing chores.
Too tired to cook? Freminet will most definitely construct some sort of automated pot: put the ingredients inside, and the dish will cook itself.
Lazy to do the laundry? Here, have this brand-new machine he absolutely-did-not-create-just-for-you. If the problems you are facing are common for Teyvat inhabitants due to its level of development, Freminet is going to outpace entire humanity and create 21st-century technologies, not even realizing the impact he'd made.
Because of his overthinking nature, Freminet plans everything 10 steps ahead. He checks the weather forecast everyday just to know if you need an umbrella or sunglasses today. Despite being extremely socially awkward, this precious boy asks if the dish contains foods that may cause your allergic reactions. He overcomes himself for you.

FINALLY, fellow wlw appreciators!!
last few days i kept thinking about Candace. like... she's just so wonderful, amazing, unique character. she is art. she is imperfect in perfect way if you get what i mean (her negative traits only make her better, closer to real person)
recently i assumed she is very similar to Kazuha in terms of poetic speech manner, chill persona and calm&fighting mode duality. so just imagine... Candace gets the opportunity to leave Aaru village for ur honey moon, so you two spend it travelling, and she sees so many new things, does stuff she never experienced... imagine her visiting Dragonspine!! or Watatsumi island.. or Fontaine!
Negative trait? Hm, maybe because i forgot how she's like during Archon Quest, but the only flaw i would say is that she's... overly loyal to her duty, but it is still within reason as well
Anyways, here you go! Presenting to you,
Once in a lifetime
Tumblr media
When you first fell for Candace and knew of her strong loyalty to her hometown, you knew that if you wanted to stick with her, your freedom to come and go so easily would be gone. A trade for a trade, they would say in Liyue.
But for a woman like her, was it not worth it? You may not be travelling as much as before, but it is worth to start a journey with the woman you swore to love and cherish.
Still, to fulfill both your wishes for once, the both of you have decided to set off the day after your wedding night, with the previous protectors of Aaru Village standing guard in place of Candace, as done before.
"Are you ready?" Candace asks softly as pack your things.
Needless to say, the moment Candace stepped out beyond Aaru Village, she felt a small sense of excitement, like a little kid who just got their favorite candy.
She's been out of Aaru village to Sumeru city, yes. Or at most Gandharva Ville or Ormos Port, but not out of the nation of Wisdom!
Being on a boat, sailing away from her home for the first time... it certainly is a very unique experience for her.
Everyday, she'll be spending at least a good while gazing at the sea, commiting the memory of it into her mind
Water, so scarce in the desert, but so abundant here. Even if it is saltwater
Now, here we will diverge a little.
If you guys go Dragonspine, you will end up in Liyue Harbour first, where you guys stay a night before you travel to Mondstadt
With a guide, and comfortably dressed, the both of you explore the snowy Dragonspine, taking care to avoid monsters along the way as well.
Snow is something the both of you have never seen, so the both of you really had a lot of fun playing with the snow, making snowmen and throwing snowballs.
Thanks to your guide, you also have some pictures of such memories as well.
The both of you mostly stayed in Mondstadt for the rest of the time, exploring the endless greenery that was there, enjoying wine and song for the rest of the time with the lovely people of Mondstadt
If you went to Watasumi Island,
The both of you are very surprised by its beauty. It's like a water paradise, and Candace certainly feels at home because of her Hydro Element.
The grass is purple, the village simple and happy, reminding her of her people back in Aaru Village
You spend the honeymoon roaming the place, having even met the Divine Priestess, Sangomiya Kokomi as well! The both of them have bonded well over their own hydro elements, and how they are both in a way, protectors of their own homeland.
General Gorou also makes an appearance, with him being curious about the foreigners from Sumeru.
All in all, the both of you head home soon after a while with some Watasumi Island specialties, and promises to write to each other and stay in touch
Hooray for new friends!
Finally, if you went to Fontaine...
Think country girl meets the city.
She's probably amazed by the technology present in Fontaine, which even the Akademiya does not possess.
Working machines that act humanoid, or in dog form for some, all even big machines that can have great many functions...
it certainly piques her interest, especially on how it can use various types of weapons as well.
Fontaine is well-arranged and orderly, compared to the more rustic and simple Aaru Village.
So Candace may feel a little out of place, but please comfort her and tell her it's okay, the both of you are just here to sight-see and spend time with each other.
But beyond the main city, it's filled with so much greenery and water as well
Candace would probably have fun diving in the sea as well, it's so colorful and beautiful!
And... maybe you two can sneak a few underwater kisses while diving as well *winks*
And oh the food in Fontaine! Call me wild, but I feel like she'll fall for the sweet treats that they have.
Cue eating as much as she can and getting recipes and deciding to ask the Traveller to send over supplies to make the yummy treats the next time.
"Did you have fun?" You ask softly, on the boat ride back to Ormos Port.
"I did. This was a wonderful time." Candace hugs you closer into her embrace, cherishing your presence.
"Well, perhaps we should get out every now and then. Wouldn't want to keep you all around in Aaru all the time." You boop her nose gently.
"Maybe."
Your lips are engulfed in a warm sensation, as you close your eyes and surrender to the feeling.

I finally posted something my gosh

The Gazers
warnings: fem!reader, stalking
Tumblr media
he genuinely enjoyed observing your every move. how many times did you sneeze? how many times did you awkwardly try to fix your constantly slipping bra strap?
he wanted to know even tiniest, most minor things: how much time does it take you to take a shower? what's your toothpaste's flavor?
whenever it's lunch break and you walk to the cafeteria, he watches you from afar. hm? so this is your preferred food? oh no, the look of disgust on your face shows it's clearly not. he cagily pulls his phone out of his backpack and adds a bit of additional info about you on the notes app.
he never texts you, though. just observes. your boards on pinterest, your spotify playlists, photos on your accounts — he saves everything, listens to the same music you do, scrolls through all the posts you liked or commented.
"does she relate to those mawkish songs about loneliness?" "why did she like this meme? it's clearly unfunny" "her basket on amazon costs hella lot... it's a shame I can't pay for her"
a lot of things he finds out about you are unexpected for him, since he knows nothing about the way you act in reality. actually, the image of you in his head might be really different from real you.. he supposes you must be very gentle and nice from the way you treat your friends and classmates. at times, when he was stalking you walking home, like he usually does, he saw you helping some strangers on the street! carrying heavy bags for them, opening doors... his heart melted whenever you gave a shy smile in response to "thank you"’s.
if only he could receive such treatment from you... since he silently follows your every acc with notifications on, he gets to see all those pathetic vent posts you delete soon. he screens each of them. unlike your family and friends, he will appreciate everything you give to him. every smile, every glance, every word — you are simply divine, and he worships every tiny thing about you.
he is a knowledge-yearning obsessed scientist, and you are the main subject of his never-ending research.
Alhaitham, Kazuha, Freminet, your favs <3
