Fic Idea that I might write but give total permission to anyone else to write because I want to read them so bad.

Batman helps train krypto.

I have two contrasting versions in my head. Here are conversations from both of them.

*Clark specifically brings krypto to Gotham bc he heard Batman had a dog*

Superman is in Gotham with Krypto on a building, using his superheating to try and find Batman but keeps getting distracted by crime and saving people. This is noticed.

He’s just finished giving someone back their bag after a mugging, full Kansas charm, and after the person makes their way out of the alley…

“Why are you here?”

He turns around and there’s the man of the hour, Batman. And he doesn’t look amused. Krypto barks from behind Superman.

“Hmm.”

“Uh… I was actually looking for you, but then I got… distracted.”

“Hmm. Well, I’m busy.”

“Yeah, I can tell. There’s a lot of,” he noticed the Batman pointed glare and stutters, “uh. Well, not a lot, maybe, but uh… well. Crime.”

At that the Batman tilts his head a bit, and when he speaks, Clark is a little amazed to see some emotion. Incredulity, but still.

“Yes, Gotham City certainly has crime.”

“It’s just that I heard you had a dog.”

If anything, the half of his face that Clark can see becomes even more confused. Somehow, he thinks this isn’t going how he planned. Batman continues to stare, so he continues, picking krypto up to show the other man.

“I have a dog. Kind of.”

…

“Your dog is in a cape.”

Batman meets Superman and Krypto while they are fighting crime(it’s another kaiju for reasons), Batman happens to be in Metropolis for other reasons. Ex: Bruce Wayne Gala or Interview. Bonus points if he and Clark met during that interview or Gala.

Superman: “Hi! I’m a big fan. What brings you our way?”

Batman: “Less Chatter. There’s a monster here.”

Hawkgirl: Awesome introductions, do we have a plan? This things skin. is. hard. as. rock. (Punctuated by her repeatedly slamming her mace into its knee.)

Guy Gardener: Uh. The plan is to kill the thing. Obviously.

Batman and Superman: No!

Batman, not enthusiastic about agreeing: Hmm.

Superman, zipping back and forth between saving people and getting Krypto to leave the T-spheres alone: Look. If we can just get it somewhere open, we can figure it out.

Mr. Terrific, a little pissy about the T sphere currently in krypton’s mouth: How were you planning on doing that again?

Superman: I think I can lift it, I just need a better grip.

Hawkgirl: You think you can lift a thing the size of a building.

Batman: If we manage to tie it up, could you lift with the rope?

Mr Terrific, huffing a snort: it’d have to be some rope, dark knight, or whatever ur called.

Batman, smirking: it is.

*he throws a batarang to stick in the creature to get a starting point for tying it up, but the batarang is intercepted by krypto*

Superman: Sorry! Sorry about that!

Batman: Tt.

*he tries again, only for krypto to get it.*

*again*

*and again*

Batman: What’s his name?!

Everyone: What?

Batman: The DOG!!!

Superman: Oh. It’s Krypto. Sorry, again.

Batman, sternly: Krypto!

Krypto: *flies over*

Batman, pointing down a the ground: Sit.

*krypto flies down and sits*

Batman, getting back to work and actually tying up the monster: Good Boy. Now stay.

Superman, slack-jawed: What the hay?

*clark then proceeds to get Bruce to agree to train krypto*

This movie is going to force feed you “disgraced tantrum scientist who’s here against his will” and you’ll end the movie with cartoon heart eyes for some loser who says “holy moly” unironically.

Giant text post incoming about silverstone podium thoughts

My first thought after watching the podium was “welp, that was rancid.” I was so hyped for Nico podium, as were so many others, but the McLaren boys really didn’t douse him with champagne in the way that I think we were all expecting.

My thoughts after thinking about it a little bit is how unfair it is to have all of these expectations for how people are supposed to act during these situations. To blame lando for not dousing Nico in champagne is a bit unfair. This for lando was also a dream come true, something that felt so far from him but was finally achieved. He said himself he doesn’t know if this day will ever come again. He celebrated himself and his win. I will admit when he sprayed Nico with champagne it felt like an afterthought. However, I think it’s fair to say anyone other than lando, his team, and his family and friends was an afterthought to him after winning silverstone and living out his dream come true. It’s okay to be disappointed that Nico wasn’t celebrated the way he deserved to be, but I think it’s also understandable that lando celebrated himself in that moment.

I’m really unsure about what to say or think about Oscar. He was disappointed angry and selfish during the podium. He wanted to leave as soon as possible which is why he popped the champagne before anyone else, and just sprayed it at the closest person and then ran out of champagne when the others opened their bottles essentially. He let his pity party win. He didn’t find it in himself to celebrate others wins in that moment because he lost. Is it selfish, yes. Fork found in kitchen an f1 driver is selfish! But also, he was objectively a bad sport in this. He’s young and hopefully he’ll learn.

Nico Nico Nico my little prince. 👑 although he wasn’t doused in champagne on the podium, he was celebrated off the podium with his team. The chants, the way they sprayed him with champagne on the floor, gabis radio message. He was celebrated the way he deserved to be celebrated and I was glad to see that. Even on the podium, he sprayed his team and others and then drank from the champagne bottle. He celebrated himself. And that’s a beautiful thing too :)!
