An unexpected side effect of the M9 animated show announcement was a bump in kudos/comments on my M9 fics and now I'm like ehhhh I should write again, I keep having false starts where I carve out time to but then inevitably something comes up.

I'm ramping up to producing content again! Ahhhh!

Right now it's a lot of setting up profiles with my updated name and trying to decide which platforms to use (worldanvil has changed a LOT since I last saw it)

Hopefully this leads back around to my old writing projects!

obviously i feel terrible that i have popular wips that i haven't made any progress on in (checks watch) over half a year

but i still get thrilled when i see a new comment

even when its just someone saying "well hot damn"

because i can relate yall when i actually type out and post even a piece of a fic i, too, am impressed af

one of the (very limited) benefits of my shite memory is that every few months if i go back and read stuff i’ve written it’s absolutely unknown to me

like oh what a delightful fanfic someone has written that has EXACTLY what I want in it! delicious!

on the other hand if i dont finish a story within like... a few months PHEW that plot bunny is GONE who are these people wtf are they doing what was the secret resolution of this mystery??? who knows!!! not me :)

I hate how often I have an AMAZING idea while sleeping/half asleep and I wake up just enough to pull my laptop over before SLEEP!Ellen is like “nah i’ll remember this one its so original and cool” and falls back asleep

only for me to wake up later and frantically stare at the ceiling like “there was definitely some kind of demon.... and it had to do with.... some dystopian culture I think??? It was definitely a worldbuilding dream maybe the demon was my boyfriend and that’s not important. His name was Daron. But what was the architecture???? Motherfucker it was such a cool idea for a setting!!! who cares about the demon dude there was a SOCIETY”
