something that people need to realize more is that, as stranger things fans we don’t get the right to hate others for their interests.

quite literally, the characters in our favorite story are weirdos, outcasts whatever. the whole point of the show is to stay weird. and it sucks because i will see fans constantly talk about how weird the Eddie fans were etc, but i think Eddie would genuinely like those people and find them cool.

and no i’m not just talking to the people who mock Eddie stans. i’m talking to those who hate on other people and their fav ships, theories, headcanons, other franchises etc.

MILD RECKONING OF ROKU SPOILERS, GO READ THE BOOK

I’m assuming everyone’s heard of the “the next avatar will have the same face as the last one’s loved one/partner” theory and you can have your own opinions on it, personally I’m a big fan of it because I think it’s pretty cute. So I finished The Reckoning of Roku and my newest headcanon is that while Roku looks like Rangi, Yasu looked like Yun.

roku can’t say anything rude about the other avatars because they might just bring up sozin or the volcano.

(kyoshi spent the most time with him so she has the most dirt on him)

Admittedly, I did find this funny.

It will definitely make him shut up and just,, get his ass to sit down......

His mistakes are definitely easy to point at and laugh at. To be fair, he did overall really try his best and the volcano had definitely traumatized him. He still felt the lingering pain when he was burned internally before blacking out. While the topic about Sozin is debatable, Roku's death is such a sensitive subject and horrifying sight to witness even - given the fact that his body is largely intact when digged out of the rocks and magma but is unrecognisable because his skull got shattered. A very painful and sickly death indeed.

They would tease him on everything but that.
