Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover gets an anime adaptation

This year’s Jump Festa has just dropped a big announcement! They announced that Tabata-sensei’s Black Clover will be having an anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot. Sadly, no exact launching date has been given  yet, but hopefully this should be in 2017.

my take on the current WSJ rankings

One Piece definitely maintains it’s top position, while Toriko and Love Rush already ended. The new series that I’ve been personally looking forward to develop are Red Sprite and Yakusoku no Neverland. While Yakusoku no Neverland is consistently high up in the rankings; I’m worried about Red Sprite which continues to display a downward trend in the rankings, if the next chapter’s ranking doesn’t improve at least 3-4 places then it may be terminated. 

Meanwhile, I’m so happy Black Clover and Boku no Hero are finally getting up there! And then there’s Shokugeki no Souma which has been in the bottom five for a month or so. And Gintama is going to end soon so I’m not surprised with it’s mid-low rankings anymore. (However, as a fan, I’m disappointed and frustrated T.T)

Manga Recommendation #1: Enen no Shouboutai

So I’m going to start a series of weekly manga or anime recommendations, just for the sake of sharing these wonderful artworks~ And this week’s manga recommendation is Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Brigade of Flames) It started on 2015 and has currently 46 chapters! By the way this manga is penned by our awesome mangaka, Okubo Atsushi-sensei, which some of you may already because she also penned Soul Eater. By the way this series has also been licensed by the Kodansha Comics USA, and the first volume will be out by November!!! 

Plot Summary: 

Set in a world where humans spontaneously ignite and turn into flaming demon-like creatures, a disease most feared and known by the name "Human Body Ignition Phenomenon". Enter Shinra Kusakabe, a boy with the ability to ignite at his own will, who joins the 8th Special Fire Brigade of Tokyo to fight the Flame Humans, achieve his goal of becoming a hero, and to uncover the truth behind his family's death.

March Comes in Like a Lion Anime Adaptation

So if you love Slice of Life, and you’ve loved Honey and Clover, this series should be your next read! This is a series by Chica Umino, the mangaka of our beloved Honey and Clover! Recently, Shaft announced that an anime adaptation of March Comes in Like a Lion (Sangatsu no Lion) is in the works, and is scheduled to be released on October 8, 2016! Plus, a two-part live action (yes, you read that right!) has already been announced with Kamiki Ryunosuke as Kiriyama Rei. The live action will be released by March and April 2017. 

Kamiki Ryunosuke is one of the awesomest actor that I’ve ever seen! Many people may not be familiar with him, but he’s quite a big figure in the anime and movie industry. Just to name a few of his voice acting roles: Sho in the World of Arrietty, Taki in Kimi no Na wa, Markl in Howl’s Moving Castle, and Boh in Spirited Away. He’s an actor too! He was Takagi in Bakuman, Sojiro in Rurouni Kenshin, Takeru Amaya in Kami-sama no Iu Toori.

Gintama gets new anime season!

So I gotta post about this because it’s about GINTAMA!!!

So in the 43rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, they announced that Gintama will be having a new season!!! It will probably cover the last arcs of the manga, as the staff had already announced that Gintama had already entered its final story arc. Although many things have not been announced yet, I’m already so excited for this new season! I’ve also been looking forward to the live action adaptation of this series (although I have mixed feelings because most of these are bound to fail... -_- ) Hopefully, they don’t make another live action disaster; and it’s even Oguri Shun too... I really hope it’ll do well!

Mystic Messenger!!!

So I started playing this wonderful otome game called Mystic Messenger, I’ve known it for a long time, but didn’t have time to do so...And it’s my first day today and I’m a bit confused about the whole gameplay haha my friends said that it’d be easier for me to consult the walkthrough but I prefer doing it all by myself :) I’m having fun with all these bishies that I’m chatting with :) First impression wise, I think Jumin is gonna be my best boy and 707′s second...AND YES I’M AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THEY CANNOT BE PURSUED IN THE CASUAL STORY.../cries/ so I’ll start with Zen...and yeah, so far so good! 

It’s available in iOS and Android!!! And oh, btw it’s originally in korean but they have an ENGLISH version also :)

Takahiro Sakurai lent his voice to the male lead of Koe Koi! But I wonder who the actor is? I'm hoping for him to be yamaken but he has a project already...so I'm gonna bet on Sakaguchi Kentaro or Fukushi Sota! Can't wait for the revelation! 😋
