Y'all know how Xiao's letter came attached with a Dream Solvent?

WELL!

According to the lore... A Dream Solvent is formed "If someone dreamed of heaven before waking up clutching a flower, then that blossom must have been made from such a fantasy"

And how Xiao's been dreaming about Lumine, recently..... The point I'm trying to make is... Lumine isn't just Xiao's "sweet dream"

She's also his "heaven"

But will defend Arlecchino for grooming children to be loyal to a military force known for trying to force their influence into foreign countries by causing problems for said nations first and then offering a "solution"

Honestly the jokes write themselves at this point.

And for the record because I saw a lot of this "excuse" of the HotH being better then those kids getting sold to some nobel creeps.... No it's not.

These are both equally shitty in different ways. They're both taking advantage of these kids at the end of the day.

And lest we forget... The HotH takes in kids from all over Teyvat, some even against their will... so technically speaking what the HotH and Arle are doing is also child trafficking.

Y'all need to understand that it's perfectly fine to like morally corrupt characters while acknowledging their horrendous actions. There is no need to act like a politician's lawyer trying to prove they did nothing wrong, right before election season.

Some of y'all folded after Arlecchino's animated short BUT NOT ME!

Is Arle probably (slightly) better than the previous Knave, and seems to hold some actual care for the kids from in the HotH? Yes.

Is she still continuing her "Mother's" work by taking advantage of these vulnerable children who don't know any better, by indoctrinating them into being blindly loyal to a military organization, training them to be child soldiers, assassins and spies knowing well enough that she's sending a lot of them to their deaths? Also fucking yes!

Having. A. Sad. Backstory. Dose. Not. Suddenly. Make. Her. A. "Good Person"

Or justify the abuse— cause let's be real, it's abuse, maybe not physical, but definitely psychological abuse— she has put these kids through.

"We were wrong about Arle" No, we're still right... It's just now we know that there's a lot of layers and nuances involved in her character that's all.

She's still fucked up. And the organization she heads is still fucked up as well.

And just cause I know someone will accuse me of being a "hater".... I love Arle, okay? Probably my favorite Harbinger since Scara left the group and is no longer counted.

"Freminet" represents her early life as a kid in the orphanage. Still innocent despite everything.

"Lyney" When she lost the person most important to her, and she killed "mother" becaming the Knave and the "King" of the HotH.
