Magic in the Body
Tumblr media
❇ For grounding magic, pour your focus into your chest. Your lungs and veins look like trees for a reason, breath is the root of your life and roots you to your situation. Imagine the ventricles creaping into every part of your body, holding you firm and keeping you grounded.
❇ For warding and protection magic, focus on your elbows and knees. Your arms are the first thing that will curl up to protect your head, your knees curl up to protect your organs. The joins and muscles here will throw power into the spells that keep you safest.
❇ For divination and meditation, focus on your back. Your spine carries information from every point of your body; it connects every piece of you. To absorb and remember all the information of looking to things not usually seen, it is your spine that will carry it.
❇ For glamour magic focus on your shoulders and hips. Your shoulders and hips are solid, steady joints that connect appendages to the torso. As you try and bring glamour to yourself or others, focus on these strong, sensual points. They will carry your strength the softest.
❇ For binding magic, focus on your ribs. Your ribs are a solid structural cage that contains and conceals the most precious things to you. They are hard, durable, and connected. These ridges of bone will give you the unwavering strength to hold things.
❇ For concealment magic, focus on your hands. Your hands move so much throughout the day, doing every imaginable task that it is hard to pin them down and stay focused on them. While the rest of your body can be still and silent, your hands are almost always in use, they will allow you to slide focus away from whatever you want to conceal.
❇❇Your body had magic all throughout it; these are just suggestions.❇❇❇❇
❇❇Wherever you hold energy and focus in yourself is valid and individual.❇❇

Whoops! It has been so long since Ive made a post! Ive been incredibly busy with school and work, so i thought this tip would be useful as i use it everyday!
Witch Tip: Meditation.
Sometimes its hard to set aside 15 minutes to meditate. Why not do it in the shower? Even if its just while youre getting ready, imagining the water stealing away all that negative energy and energizing your spirit is a great tool! Even meditative bubble baths are awesome!

Sorry I've been MIA!
Life has taking a toll on me beating me at every turn, been dealing with my 5 year old and her awaking into the spiritual world. She has been seeing spirits for a little over a year now, but I only thought she was seeing the dead. We moved and she started seeing something else, an evil entity, I have spent loads of time warding her from this evil, as well as doing my best to banish it. I am one exhausted witch, but I stand proud and say that the evil on my land is gone!
Rebbekkah, the mighty!

instead of jars to bury your spells in, my i suggest the idea of peat pots planters?
Tumblr media
not only are they biodegradable, they are useful for many different things. you can grow herbs and starter plants or use them to bury a home protection without the fear of broken glass rising to the surface, or your jar staying in the ground for a 100 years. they also come in many different sizes as well. from large to very tiny
Tumblr media
and you can even make your own from left over toilet paper rolls for a byproduct option that lessens garbage going into landfills.
Tumblr media
there are plenty of cheaper, earth friendlier options available to us, as witches, at our disposal. it is up to us as a whole to start making better earth friendly choices, to modernize the practice. we are not from the middle ages and tradition has nothing to do with glass jars - we have the knowledge in modern days to realize how harmful the practice of burying jars actually is, we have resources to change that as well.

✨⚔️☕️ Done-Fucking-Around Coffee Charm ☕️⚔️✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a simple little charm I use to enchant my morning coffee to help me defeat the day, be productive and kick ass.
YOU’LL NEED:
☕️ a beverage
💎a crystal connected to your goal for the day (I use blue goldstone or substitute my mini blue glitter jar for creativity)
DO THE CHARM
⚪️ set the crystal down next to the cup to charge the brew
⚪️ pour or stir clockwise while brewing to attract productive energies
⚪️ repeat an incantation a few times while brewing. This is mine:
“I am a writer & I am done fucking around. I am a writer & I get shit done.”
⚪️ make sure the incantation is short, simple, and makes you feel like a badass (this is why so many of mine include swearing). It could just be “Today I’m going to [goal or task] and I’m done fucking around.”
⚪️ that’s it! drink up and have a productive day.
TAKEAWAY TWEAKS for when you’re buying rather than brewing.
⚪️ slip the crystal under the edge of the saucer
⚪️ or hold the crystal in your hand under the take away cup
⚪️ if there’s a place to stir, do. You can run your finger clockwise around the rim, or skip it altogether.
⚪️ say the incantation under your breath (if it’s noisy) or in your head (if it’s quiet)

Depression repellent soap!
TW: mentions of depression and suicide thoughts/attempts
This post is dedicated to my friends who are still struggling. Mama Rami loves you, deeply and truly. Keep fighting.
I’ll document briefly my experience living with depression since I was a toddler in italics. If you’d rather just skip this part and get to the soap, I get it. I’ll mark it with a title.
I feel I need to say something before just throwing out there a magickal aid to keep depression at bay. First of all, remember this is NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ACTUAL MEDICAL TREATMENT. Magick is a little boost. A push. It won’t change anything unless you complement it with corporeal actions.
So as you may or may not know, I’ve been struggling with depression since basically my birth. One of my earliest memories is of a suicide attempt at age 4.
Lately my life is finally looking bright. I found a job I love that pays like shit, but hey, it’s mine, I’m great at it, and it makes me happy.
My love life is a drag but I feel really good about it. I always basically jumped from one relationship to another and now I’m close to two years of being single and it’s been a very good couple of years.
However, this doesn’t mean my depression doesn’t like coming and going. I try to keep myself away from a maniac episode, but I’ve been exercising and having fun. I’m not “cured”, nor I’ll ever be. But the future, maybe for the first time ever, looks promising.
I had hit rock bottom something close to three years ago. I was keeping a calendar recording all my suicidal impulses, as some sort of countdown.
And that’s when I decided I could either get help, or die.
I never really believed in therapy. All psychologists and psychiatrists always only seemed to me like morons who didn’t really help AT ALL and just sat there milking money from me or my insurance.
In what could have been my final hours, I decided that if everything was lost already, so why not try one last time? I mean, I had already decided to kill myself, had chosen the perfect method, had timed the perfect moment. I had a couple of days left. Why not try to get professional help at least one last time?
The last psychiatrist I saw prescribed me prozac.
It changed my life.
I won’t go deeply into detail. After all, you know what happened. I’m clearly not gone (or am I!? zombie blogging hurr durr) and although things might not be “objectively” better…
My life is good… My life is so very, mundanely, good.
I sang in the car today coming back from work and I stood under the sun and I smiled to myself.
I feel things. I feel bad and happy things. But I can FEEL.
I know they always say the same, that “life gets better”. That’s not true. Life sometimes is objectively shit. But we… we get better. We see the same cesspool of hypocrisy and don’t think it’s pointless. We feel we can make it through today, that we have the energy to spare, to live.
Find help. Reach out. There are people who want to help you. We want you to live and not just breathing in and out until you can’t anymore, we want you to live for real. There’s a good life waiting for you.
Don’t be afraid of using medication to balance your brain chemistry.
You’ll get better.
Today I found a shard of blue glass and I thought it was pretty and kept it in my pocket.
It was just a shard of blue glass but I found it beautiful and worth having.
With its million small good moments in the storm of all things awful…
Life is still worth living.
Some days, however, I’m more tired than usual. And I’m not ashamed to say I need a little boost. I won’t pretend depression isn’t a ghost that haunts you. Some days I don’t have the strength to realize how beautiful my little miracles are.
I’m no longer on prozac, so my brain is on its own to keep its balance.
Of course, a little magick always helps.
How to make my depression repellent revitalizing soap
You’ll need:
A bar of soap of your preferred scent that you associate with happiness, energy, strength, etc.
Sun water.
Rose water.
A yellow candle.
An orange candle.
Crystals or stones you associate with your preferred intent: I used unakite (I associate it with spring and I did this ritual during Ostara), pink quartz (self love), amethyst (balance), clear quartz (purification), Himalayan pink salt (purification), rhodochrosite (vitality and self love). I also highly recommend you use citrine since it’s associated with sun and happiness.
Something to carve the soap with, like a nail or a knife.
One of these sigils by @sigilathenaeum I personally used this one:
Tumblr media
Let’s get started.
So you can basically skip the whole process and step straight into the carving part, forget about the waters and whatnot, choose different crystals or not choose to use them at all, simply carve and we’re good to go. But I insist this is the most important step:
1) Choose the right soap.
I shit you not, I spent 20 minutes in the hygiene aisle in the supermarket choosing the right soap. Pick one that’s gonna represent exactly what you feel you need to keep your depression at bay. There are dozens of possible scent and color combinations, pick THE RIGHT ONE. Try to make this budget friendly too, because sadly this soap will run out eventually (although I have a little trick to prevent that) and you’ll probably have to get more.
I personally chose a delicious orange and lemon glycerin soap. It was like $1 and smells amazing.
I had never performed a spell for myself before this one, but I’ve made this soap for other people with other issues before. If you’re gonna be adapting this spell to prevent anxiety I’d recommend something like lavender scent. If recovering from trauma, eucalyptus, mint or aloe are good options. A bad break up or need a self-love boost? Rose or floral scents. Feeling unsafe? Cinnamon or spice.
However, the most important thing is that you like the scent! No, more than that.
IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU LOVE HOW THIS SOAP SMELLS ON YOUR SKIN. It’ll be a protective layer that’ll cover your whole body. Make sure you like it!
2) Carve the sigil in the soap bar, not too deep.
I used a nail, but a needle, a knife, even a pencil, they can all work. Soap is really easy to work with!
Tumblr media
3) If you care about moon phases, I’d recommend you perform this spell under the waxing crescent phase (after the new moon, when it starts shining again, it represents growth and improvement) or the full moon (it represents plenitude and prosperity).
4) Perform the spell.
Anoint your candles and cast your circle if that’s your thing, light them. Align the crystals and stones around the bar. You can carve the soap at this moment, but I personally did it beforehand. Place the crystals over the soap. Rub a drop of rose water and/or sun water around the bar. I used my crystal bell to bring lightness and joy into my soap. Do your thing, you know how this works. Intent, chanting if you want it. Do it for as long as you feel you must. REMEMBER TO GROUND AFTER PERFORMING ANY SORT OF SPELL.
Tumblr media
5) Try it out.
When you use the soap, the sigil will be erased because of the water and the friction. It’ll melt into your skin and into the soap. If you don’t use a glycerin soap, it could take one or two baths, but eventually it’ll settle there completely.
Tumblr media
6) When you need it.
Use this soap when you feel you need it. If you need it every time you shower, use it. If you feel you need it once a month, that’s alright.
7) Do it as many times as you need to… or not!
WHEN YOUR BAR IS ABOUT TO RUN OUT, MY TRICK IS GETTING THE SAME KIND OF SOAP (you don’t have to, I’m just picky like that) AND FUSE THE LITTLE BIT YOU HAVE WITH THE NEW BAR. This will transfer all the properties to the new bar without needing to repeat the spell every time.
8) Store it.
Keep your soap somewhere dry. If you don’t have a soap case, you can use just a regular plastic bag.
Tumblr media
9) Remember to wash behind your ears.
Happy cleansing!
Tumblr media
PLEASE REBLOG. IF NOT YOU, SOMEONE ELSE COULD NEED IT.

Something fun to try!

Aphrodite Glamour Water 💋
This glamour spell is one of the few that I use, and I can say that it’s worked for me quite well. Be careful, though. You may attract unwanted attention.
Tumblr media
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
a jar
water
rose petals (optional)
vanilla essential oil (optional)
red or pink candle (optional)
STEPS:
💋 Pour the water inside the jar you wish to use.
💋 Put in your ingredients that you chose to use. As you put them in, visualize how you want people to look at you. If you want to be confident, visualize yourself being confident. If you want romantic or sexual attention, visualize yourself getting that. Whatever you want, just visualize yourself attracting it.
At this point, if you wish to use a candle, now is the time to pour your intentions into it & light it. If not, that’s fine. You can also call upon deities who correspond to love at this moment.
💋Stir the liquid clockwise so that it’s moving towards you. As you do so, continue to visualize your desired outcome.
💋 After that, it’s all done. You can leave it out by the window and allow the moon the charge it up. If you chose to light a candle, let it burn down.
WAYS TO USE IT:
♡ Dab some on your face before you leave the house in the morning. ♡ Put some on your face before you put any makeup or skin products on. ♡ You can use it in love spells by replacing the water with an oil of your choosing and anointing a pink or red candle with it, preforming the spell the same way. ♡ If you wear makeup, pour a little bit in a little cap of some sort and dab your makeup brushes in it to dampen the brush before you apply any eyeshadow or powder of any kind. ♡ If you want a specific person’s attention, you can dab some on a picture of them or drop a little bit where you know they will walk. ♡ Use it as an offering for deities corresponding to love, depending on your intention.

Tears in an Everyday Ritual
I cry. I didn’t used to - I associated it with being weak, giving in, or letting someone else win.
Now I think that by giving someone enough power over me to prevent me from crying when I’m hurt, I’m contributing to my own shaming and my own caging.
If they hurt me, and I cry, that gives me the power to vent my hurt. It doesn’t mean they won in some kind of power game - and the shame is on someone who purposefully drives me to tears, not on me for engaging in a healing act.
My own history aside, I keep seeing posts in online witch communities about how this witch or that witch feels like a failure by spending a lot of days in bed, crying or avoiding crying, instead of doing spell work or everyday ritual.
Let’s start with, ‘A witch is a person who claims the title, “Witch”’ That’s it. There is no witch competition on how often you do spell work and there is no Witch Pope who is going to excommunicate you if you have too many self-care days or depressive days or are low spoon for a while.
No amount of days in bed crying invalidates your claiming of the title.
All that being said, I do occasionally do an everyday ritual with my tears. Because they represent suffering and healing, the release of pain and the beckoning of help, and are an offering from my self that results from my vulnerability.
I don’t do anything particularly special - I don’t gather them into a chalice or put them out under the New Moon, though you could do all of that, if you wanted.
First, I just let myself feel them. Instead of it being something that I shove aside or rush to get over, I purposefully focus on them and let myself explore what drove me to them.
Second, I gather them. This is mostly just wiping my eyes with a clean cloth, generally one of my soft, white washcloths.
Third, I offer them up. My offering generally goes something like this, but please feel free to rephrase: “If you like me and are listening and are willing to help, if you will take these tears freely offered as both a gift and a calling for aid, if you mean me and mine no harm and no ill, then please, help me see a path to healing. Help me understand the journey through this trial and to the other side.”
And then I wait.
A lot of the time I end up crying again, as I start sorting through how or why this has hurt me, and whether my hurt is owed to my own action or inaction, and what steps I can take to move beyond it without repressing how I feel.
When it feels like it has fully passed, I wipe my face again.
Last, I take my cloth to the sink, and rinse it under running water, and envision the cool, clear water washing away the remnants of my hurt. I press the cool cloth to my eyes, resting them in the soothing cold and darkness, and wring out the cloth afterwards.
You could also do this in a bowl of water with rose petals (not from a florist, the rose petals from them are often covered in pesticides, but food grade or from your own garden if you don’t use pesticides), which I have done a few times. The combination of rose and the salt from tears is great for healing and cleansing, and the rose water helps with my flushed, swollen, blotchy face.
You can also then use your rose and tear water for rituals of emotional healing, remembering to keep the water refrigerated and throw it out after about a week.
Remember to adjust this as you like and as suites you best, if you use it. Witchcraft is a personal practice and you should do what works for you.

Yooo that’s cool as fuck
Witch Tip 🌻
Use dried sunflowers as offering bowls!
Tumblr media
You can pull out the seeds on the sides to create sigils or runes, if you want! Dried sunflowers as offering bowls are great for honoring Apollo or even the Fae!
Tumblr media
These dried mammoth sunflowers are pretty tough as well. They can hold crystals, herbs, and even milk! You could even morph it into an incense burner… honestly, the possiblities are endless. 🖤

witchy thing to do right now
pick a colour
close your eyes
take a slow deep breath in
breathe in white light coming in through your skull, face, forehead, nostrils, mouth, eyes, ears
the white light is filling your lungs like a cup being filled with crystal clear water
hold it there for a second and feel it’s power
now breathe out a misty cloud of your colour. feel it surround your head and then shoulders and then body. breathe it out into your aura or energy field.
do this as many times as you need to feel awesome + charged
<3 u all
