* IN Today's world Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being  and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition,moderate-vigorous physical exercises , and sufficient rest.

GYM : A gymnasium, also known as a GYM, is a covered location for athletics. The word is derived from the ancient Greek  gymnasium. They are commonly found in athletic and fitness  centres, and as activity and learning spaces  in educational institutions. "Gym" is also slang for "fitness centre", which is often an area for indoor recreation. A gym may be open air as well. A gym is a place with a number of equipments  and machines  used by the people to do exercises

YOGA & MEDITATION : Meditation is a process, resulting from a successful turning inwards of the mind and a conviction that there is a truth higher and more satisfying than what the mind and our intelligence can come up with. Usually people have to come to a dead-end in their search for happiness and solutions in the mental and sensual realm to start meditation seriously.

DANCING : Dance is a healthy physical activity, with many far reaching physical, and psychological benefits. Dancing can be enjoyed in many forms, and is for every age and ability. This physical activity appeals to some who may not typically be active and therefore may be another alternative of exercise.

CYCLING : Riding a bicycle typically involves longer distances than walking or jogging. This is another low-impact exercise on the joints and is great for improving leg strength

SWIMMING : Using the arms and legs to keep oneself afloat and moving either forwards or backward. This is a good full-body exercise for those who are looking to strengthen their core while improving cardiovascular endurance.

RUNNING : Running is a popular form of physical activity. Running at some stage in their life make very effective impact . Running is an appealing exercise because it doesn't cost a lot to take part and you can run at any time that suits you .

SPORTS : sports is a generally a fantastic way to improve your fitness and health. Many of us may not feel at home pounding away on a treadmill or working up a sweat in the gym, but we’ll happily chase a ball around endlessly while playing a game of some sort .

HOW WE CAN REACH MAHABALESHWAR

By Train. The nearest railway station to Mahabaleshwar hill station is at Wathar. The driving distance through rail between these two cities is 60 km. This is one of the cheapest and fastest ways to commute from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar.

By air: The airport closest to Mahabaleshwar is Pune Airport, situated at a distance of around 131 km from here. A number if carriers including Air India, SpiceJet, GoAir and IndiGo operate regular flights for Pune from Indian cities like Jaipur, Delhi, Begaluru and Nagpur, among others

By Road: Best Road from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar is the NH4 from Mumbai to Pune (via Expressway NH 4) to Surur (NH 4 / NH 48) to Panchgani to Mahabaleshwar. Distance from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar via Pune Expressway is 269 Km ( 167 miles) .ROUTE 2 MUMBAI TO MAHABALESHWAR VIA GOA The LEAST PREFERABLE road from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar is the NH 66 (Mumbai – Goa Highway) from Mumbai to Pen to Panvel to Kolad to Mahad to Poladpur to Mahabaleshwar. Distance from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar via Kolad/Mahad is 226 Km (140 miles).

* BEST PLACE TO VISIT IN MAHABALESHWAR:

1.Pratapgad Fort : Pratapgad literally 'Valour Fort' is a large mountain fort located in Satara district, in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra.The fort's historical significance is due to the Battle of Pratapgad in 1659.The fort is now a popular tourist destination. 

2.Venna Lake: is one of the tourist attractions of Mahabaleshwar in Maharashtra state in India. The lake was constructed by Shri Appasaheb Maharaj, who was Raja of Satara in 1842. The lake is surrounded by trees. Tourists can enjoy a boat ride over the lake or a horse ride next to the lake.

3. Mapro Gardens is a garden park in the hill station of Panchgani, Maharashtra, India, situated close to Mahabaleshwar, known for their strawberry produce, and a popular tourist destination. It is host to the annual Strawberry Festival. Mahabaleshwar contributes to 85% of the total Strawberry produce in India. The Strawberry Festival encourages the strawberry cultivation in the belt. The highlights of this festival are fresh farm picked strawberry lined up on tables for visitors to eat to their fullest as well as traditional folk performances such as Shivkalin Dhol and Lezim, a high energy dance for which dancers are invited from Pratapgarh.

* RAIN SEASON

Monsoon or rainy season, starring from June to September. The season is dominated by the humid southwest summer monsoon, which slowly sweeps across the country beginning in late May or early June. Monsoon rains begin to recede from North India at the beginning of October. However, the season also has the potential to bring about large scale destruction if preventive measures are not taken. Floods, hurricanes, storms and other water-related natural calamities usually occur during the rainy season.
