This summer I’m working on my understanding of line weight

Stressed trying to finish my uni work for the submission on Friday and all I want to do is draw Hawks this man is a plague

My grandma is convinced that the reason my work didn’t get chosen for a live brief I did in first year of uni was because I’m a northerner and I was in Cambridge when almost everyone else’s work was chosen (abt 4 of us didn’t get chosen out of 28 so 24 people had their work put up in the park on banners for the lido centenary (if you were in Cambridge in 2023 you’ll have seen these))

Me telling her that we all had to show and explain our work to the people choosing (the council) fuelled her belief in this

I don’t even have that strong of an accent (still have one) but it’s not necessarily something I can discount I guess because as much as southerners try to deny it there is a bias against northerners as I’ve heard too many recent stories about that kind of thing happening
