What's Here Wednesday: Genre Spotlight on Traditional Literature
Tumblr media
Folklore started long ago in the oral tradition, with tales being told and retold again and again. These stories were often embellished or changed slightly over time, but many of the same characters often reappeared. We still do the same thing today with all the retellings of familiar tales like Cinderella! There are many examples out there with their own distinctive characteristics: fairy tales, fables, myths, and more! See the TMC Guide for examples and more to explore: https://tinyurl.com/2nbyrydn
