Watching Smackdown late even for me, and my main takeaway so far is that the members of the Wyatt Sicks are finally getting some more talking time and I love it. Especially happy for my boy Joe and gal Nikki. I love how she always commits fully to any role thrown at her.

Just got word that I passed the licensure exam and am now a fully licensed provider!

Obviously, that's a good thing. But one of the coolest things for me is that I passed with a decent margin, but didn't blow the test out of the water. Why did this make me feel an embodied sense of joy? Because it showed the personal growth, both big and small, that I've achieved through the years.

There was a part of me that immediately started with the self-doubt and self-criticism. "How can you possibly believe you can help people when you couldn’t even ace this test? You got a big ego there, bud. You know you're a failure, and it won’t be long before everyone else realizes, too. You can’t trick everyone into thinking you’re competent for forever.”

This has been a constant message I've told myself since I was just a kiddo. But this time, I didn't believe it. Am I a perfect practitioner? Definitely not. Do I have room for growth and learning? Always. Do I mess up and make mistakes? Yes. Am I "a failure?" No. And for probably the first time in my life, I truly believe this.

I'm on “A Taste of Armageddon” now, and it reminded me of one of my favorite things about Star Trek. I adore how over the top it can be! They’ll play the most dramatic sting imaginable just to emphasize a cut to the five dorkiest fellows you’ve ever seen sitting at a cut-in-half conference table.

I’m working on eating a gram of protein per pound of weight daily and upping my fiber intake, and I thought this macaroni would help. What initially caught my eye before the macros, however, was how similar the font and name are to Godless.com. And now I kinda want to write a splatterpunk or extreme horror book that focuses on noodles. Has that been done? I feel like it has to have.

I got my first anonymous hate ask y'all!!! 🖤 I've never got one on any platform before, and I honestly feel pretty cool right now.

If the anon sees this, I hope you get to feeling better. I mean that genuinely. I see you, and I can tentatively hypothesize that you're hurting pretty badly if you're sending angry messages to an individual you don't even know. I'm here if you need a listening ear. A very random fact - when I was younger, I was hospitalized a lot because my parents thought I was having seizures (spoiler, it was actually psychosis lmao). But I had seen in movies how people in hospitals get pudding cups. So, to the tune of Metalingus, we would sing "In this place... I eat pudding!" when I was present enough to realize what was going on. And it would make me laugh every time and brighten up a scary experience. Funny the ways, both positive and negative, people impact each other without ever realizing it.
