I think the reason SQH was taken back so easy into the sect was that he was only ever suspected of two charges:

1. Joining the fight against Luo Binghe’s Necromancy Project on the side of Necromancy

2. Not actively defending the sect when Luo Binghe invaded to kidnap SQQ

And let’s be honest, are we sure YQY is really against necromancy if it brings back SQQ? They all went a little crazy with grief after SQQ died. Are we sure he would have said no to joining Luo Binghe’s Necromancy Project if someone asked him? And its from the sect’s perspective the most logical thing that he just slipped into it. Luo Binghe had kidnapped Mu QingFang before to help him. So if SQH was kidnapped to help too, and just didn’t refuse in his state of grief? That’s totally understandable. Everybody makes mistakes.

And yeah they were all pissed at him for being on the wrong side at the Sect invasion, but that was more on principal because that made basically no difference. No matter what side he fights on, his main tactic is taking one hit and then playing dead. They all know him and his cowardice. He might even be more help than usually by clinging to Mobei-Jun and whaling. Like this he would be way more of a distraction.

Many years ago, during my moshang obsession, I read a fic where mobei Jun was somehow cursed in a way that changed his pillar to a flower (lol I’m indoctrinated into the PIDW language) and to fix it shang qinghua had to go down on him. Later on, Shang qinghua got the same curse and mobei Jun had to go down on him.
