I don’t think the concept of the game is bad so much as to what they’ve done.

I think they forgot that Life is Strange isn’t a dating sim(as the newer games have become) and that fans enjoyed the games because of its exploration of characters and their relationships(romantic and platonic). I think many people don’t want to see Max deciding who to romance and I can imagine it’ll take away from the murder mystery plot.

I think the concept for this game was made with original characters in mind, I don’t think it really fits with Max but because they need her powers to push the plot they put them together. Thats how it feels anyways.

I also feel it’s unrealistic that the Chloe that could never let go of max (or Rachel) wouldn’t remain friends or within a close distance of max after a break up. I also don’t know if she would even be the one to initiate said breakup. Though the concept of a breakup does make sense for their relationship. Chloe had so much she needs to work out-but she’s a selfish character. So much of her being /is/ selfish and it’s not always a bad thing, but she did so much for her own benefit, would use Max’s powers to help herself(or often would out max in the position where she needed to save her), then turn it back onto her.

Overall

I believe he concept of the game could’ve been good if things didn’t feel so forced, pushed, etc.

I also don’t like how they changed lore created us LIS2(“after this photo we had a big fight”) it just sort of feels disrespectful to the prior games and lore created

I much preferred the open ended ending we were given for Max + Chloe in LIS 2 than what we received in this game

I genuinely think it would have been better to make the game about entirely different characters,, but whatever multiverse theory I guess there’s a universe they’re still together </33

I feel like this is so obvious, yet so many people seem to be overlooking what was given to us in the games

I feel as though double exposure is CLEARLY going to be an alternate universe, as max put it “one of the Max’s she left behind” while it may be a universe where she left Chloe behind it could also be a universe where they broke up

But what is clear is that ONE ENDING IS NOT CANON OVER THE OTHER

Regardless, all of the endings are canon because of her ability to time travel!!

They don’t believe that there’s one way to do things, hard to have a time travel game like that

There’s so many possibilities, but so many fans lack the ability to think in multiple dimensions

As much as I love gravity falls I genuinely think some of you guys need to sit down and think. I’ve seen multiple people saying that essentially all this stuff about Bill is going to make him real, he’s gonna become a tulpa, etc.
