I have seen some critical comments about my recent drawings, and I wanted to make something clear.

Dare I say, I believe that everyone has their own interpretations, and different ways of expressing characters should be respected unless they’re out of ethnical boundaries.

Whether you draw them this way or that—it’s all up to you.

I have my view, you have yours. It’s okay for them to be different.

Criticism is fine, but blind hate? It can wear people down.

I hope we could try to give each other a little more space and understanding. 😊

I was wondering if some of you haven’t been quite resonating with the way I’ve been interpreting or drawing certain characters lately.

I’ve adjusted my style in the past, so if there’s a general sense of disconnect this time around too, I’m open to finding a middle ground that still feels right to me but also works better for everyone.
