Lilli with her frightfully fair skin (it’s practically pure white, really) was grateful for the suggestion of a taxi. She would never get used to how hot some places could be. “If you would like to take a taxi, we may. I will pay for it. I think I have some pesos in my wallet.” She should. She was usually very good about exchanging currency.

“Ah, no no, I will pay, señora, do not worry!” He gave her a bright smile. “I will get us a taxi.” Waving down the first cab he saw, Paco spoke cheerfully to the driver in Spanish quickly, relaying to him where they needed to go. Then, he quickly rushed over to open the door for Lilli. “After you, señora!”
