okay Gravity Falls fans enough is enough I've been seeing this on Twitter and now I've been seeing it here on Tumblr. Number one it is disgusting and Stanford pines is not in any way transgender and can get pregnant with Bill cipher's baby. He is a man means he does not have a uterus. Number two Stanford and Bill did not have any romantic relationship of any kind. It was an abusive relationship mainly on Bill's side. Can we stop calling people “fake” anything? Like you have no idea their situation or who they are fucking. You just know what they told you.

I don't go screaming from the rooftops like marry poppins every time I fuck a man.

Or they could have unsupportive parents and be unable to date who they want because of that, because they would be forced to break up the moment the relationship got serious.

I do not like being called childishly inept

This post unlocked a whole bunch of memories for me and I need to share. None of the following is me trying to normalize what happened or say “it was a different time.” This just kinda reminded me how insane 2010’s internet culture was:

tons of newgrounds alums and YouTube edgelords were openly friends with shad, and only denounced him as soon as he started posting art of real kids. I find it really weird the HE specifically was given a pass for posting art of fictional underage cartoon characters, which he was known for.

It’s weird to me because there were at that time, people who were still publicly being roasted into oblivion for liking “loli art”, and yet nobody really cared about Shad. A guy who was MAKING that art.

That whole era of YouTube was very accepting of “lolis” in a half joking way. It pretty much immediately stopped being joked about in that same way past a certain point. But there was a time in which almost every single person in that newgrounds circle was openly friends with shad and would have them on their podcasts and stuff. Like I remember Rebel Taxi having him on Pizza Party Podcast.

I just looked it up, and apparently he was roommates with Zach for a period of time. Idk that strikes me as especially weird.

I like smiling friends but that’s a-little hard to ignore. Especially considering how many people from newgrounds still have characters that are openly celebrated despite this really uncomfortable history (especially via Friday Night Funkin).

It’s all just really weird and fucked up. It’s kinda crazy to think about how many funny internet men on new-grounds have ended up being drug addicts, perverts and other shit.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills every time I see smiling friends cuz like I know several of the creative staff used to be like chummy with Shadman yknow the nazi pedophile artist. And I don’t mean that as a like if you like smiling friends you’re problematic thing it’s just mind boggling for something like that to just totally fly under the radar
