Agere Loki & Peter Headcanons

This is for them individually and as friends! The tangent coming off my last post resulted in going into regressor Peter territory and then I ran out of space so. New post for him! Pt. 1 Pt. 2 Pt. 3 (You're already here!)

- Peter meets mini loki once before he figures out that Loki is a regressor (which Loki tells him outright/mentions as if it's no big deal, because he really doesn't find it that big of a deal, and the only reason it's a "secret" with the rest of the Avengers is because screwing with them is fun) - This meeting involves an attempt at baking a cake for May's birthday that results in every ingredient in the recipe being all over the kitchen. This is also how Loki found out the vigilante is a regressor, and contributed to the young god telling Peter later on - Peter hasn't ever regressed below the age of 4, and averages at 5 or 6 - He loves Legos, even more than when big, and is super clingy to anybody who will let him hang out with them - He's also super cuddly, and though May didn't always know about his regression, she was always indulgent in him deciding they needed to lay in her bed together while she read - Loves grocery shopping with people while regressed, which he's never been able to explain. He finds out that taking Loki along is even better than Ned or May, because Loki doesn't know anything about grocery stores and Peter enjoys showing him around and telling him about things - Loves feeling smart while little - Loki and him get into lots of chaos-- and trouble-- while regressed - Peter also never asks Loki if he can shapeshift other people to different ages, but the god decides to get pictures from May of how Peter looked at that age for reference on his own and offer it - Peter loves being in a body that suits the age he's at mentally, and this is what results in him telling May he's a regressor, so he can run around the apartment while little - He does not want to tell any of the Avengers, even staying there a couple days a week and often regressing, but Loki convinces him to run around and confuse people together. - People think he's Thor at first because Peter had lighter hair when physically young, and Loki is nothing short of offended on his big brothers behalf at the comparison - He informs them very firmly that Thor does not regress and also looked nothing like Peter, who they'd decided to call "Mayson," not that anybody knew it was spelled with a y, after lots of consideration - Peter gets distressed if regressed and unable to be in the right sized body after the first few times, though, but he's too embarrassed to say anything for a long time - Loki doesn't even realize, but he does figure out how to enchant a bangle with the spell, and painstakingly carves the runes into it to make it work for Peter after the other little asked him every single time he could to be shapeshifted - May finds little Peter adorable, and has his coloring pages and drawings on the fridge, to big Peter's infinite embarrassment - MJ knows nothing about him being a regressor and asks "Whose drawings?" when she shows up at their house for the first time after they've been pinned to the fridge - Peter very obviously stutters out "Nobodies! Uh, let's move on!" and she makes her own assumptions but doesn't bring them up until he does - Ned has known since Peter started regressing, and thinks the drawings on the fridge are adorable, and finds it hilarious that Peter's embarrassed by it

More Regressor Loki (MCU) Headcanons

here we go again because i had a sudden Thought and had to start yapping again Pt. 1 Pt. 2 (You're already here!) Pt. 3

When he starts getting younger than 4, he has trouble keeping a hold on AllSpeak and tends to have moments where words don't translate, or he altogether can't understand anything anybody except Thor is saying - Occasionally he doesn't realize why he can't understand the people around him, and he'll start crying or freaking out. It's brought him out of regression entirely a couple times, only to feel a bit silly once he realizes he just wasn't keeping up the usually subconscious use of AllSpeak - Actually prefers talking in Asgardian while younger than 6 but usually knows he should speak a language people around him understand, and when older than that will speak it just to confuse people/freak people out - Loves giving things to people while little, especially drawings or transfigured statues and other knick knacks - Also loves taking things. Tends to steal random things from people, either intentionally trying to confuse/bug them, or because he saw something and went "Ooh, that looks cool!" and then forgot to give it back - Really likes watching movies with Bucky, but likes cooking with him even more - Bucky and Loki start watching Sofia the First together while bored and struggling to find anything good they want to watch (classic moment of "Tony Stark owns every movie and tv show to ever exist and it's Too Many Options so now none of them sound good") and actually get really into it and spend every episode talking about it/talking to the characters - Bucky finds out that modern kids media is actually lowkey banger and has a surprising amount of fun watching it with Loki - Sam teases him mercilessly for it, but joins them for one episode of Sophia the First while spending a night at the tower and joins them in chatter and asks questions about what's going on in the plot that Loki is eager to answer in depth - When people realize Clint thinks regressed Loki is a ghost/cryptid in the tower they all, individually, decide to join in on screwing with him and claim they've never seen a kid and telling Clint that "he should get some sleep" or "are you sure you weren't dreaming?" - Loki finds this delightful when he finds out/overhears - Loki hates board games while regressed. He doesn't mind them while big, just finds them boring, but will have a visceral reaction to one being suggested regardless of which one it is. - Is either super bad with manners and volume control, or the picture perfect prince, with no inbetween. - Got paint on Tony's living room carpet one time, and it coincided with the billionaire having a stressful day. He yelled at Loki for twenty minutes about it, and Loki teleported to Bucky for comfort - Bucky has no idea how or why he had an armful of sobbing seven year old, but he didn't hesitate to respond with comfort. - Bucky and Tony consistently have no idea how old Loki is, the fact that the trickster god tends to shift to whichever age he's feeling between 6 and 11 when wandering the tower before anybody finds out little Loki and big Loki are the same person doesn't help them figure it out - So if one day little Loki shows up and Bucky is semi confident he's six, and another he offhandedly notes that the kid is probably like eight of nine, neither Tony nor Bucky internalize the information nor the minor changes - Natasha notices, but she figures out that Loki is one and the same with his adult self early on. She's one of the only ones who ever see Loki shapeshifted to early teen years, since she already knows. - The others are Peter and Thor, because when he's feeling young to mid teens Peter is significantly closer to his age range and more fun to hang out with than the adults in the tower

Regressor Loki (MCU) Headcanons

Courtesy of Marvel Rivals I've had a bit of a fixation on Loki for the last few weeks, so here're some of the headcanons I've come up for him as a little! (A lot of these are put through the lens of good!Loki living in avengers tower, but some are snippets of him pre-midgard) Pt. 1 (You're already here!) Pt. 2 Pt. 3

Loki, naturally, causes significantly more mischief while regressed. Before anybody in the tower found out, he would shapeshift into a younger version of himself and wander around confusing people, claiming his name was Luka - In that time, Tony started calling him "mini Loki" without realizing he was actually mini Loki, and the young god had a minor freak out thinking he was caught - The ruse was up with Thor came by when he had the time to spare to visit his friends on Midgard, and caught Loki being a menace while regressed and greeted him cheerfully. By name - Loki regressing has just kinda. Been a thing. For a long time now, at least a couple centuries, since he was a late teenager. Most people assume it's just him wanting to cause chaos in a smaller, stealthier body, and only his mother and Thor know he's mentally that age as well - He's either super cuddly with his mom when regressed, or so embarrassed that she knows anything about it - He also shapeshifts into animal forms sometimes when regressed, snakes especially because he finds comfort in that form. When really little (like baby ages) he'll often regress to a cat or a kitten and be super cuddly. Nobody realizes it's Loki for a long time because he doesn't regress that young often and it didn't coincide with Thor being around. - He regresses to a very, very large range of ages. All the way down to baby ages (quite rarely, mostly when he's feeling particularly lonely/sad), and all the way up to mid-late teens. In human years, of course, because he finds it easier to summarize in Midgard years his mindset than attempt to explain how Asgard calculates age to his friends - Has been repeatedly told not to venture into the employee labs causing mischief, this has not yet and likely will not stop him from doing so. - Those in the R&D labs like him and find it fun to show him all their projects (sometimes he even provides a new perspective for them, though rarely on purpose), but he explored into legal one time and They Do In Fact Not Like Him - He doesn't ever go back to legal. He steers clear of those floors even while feeling 100% adult - He struggles to be entertained while regressed unless particularly young. He doesn't like Midgardian toys, though he has tried to like them, the Legos Peter showed him especially, but just finds them boring - He spends a lot of his time while regressed in the tower going from room to room looking for people to bug. - Tony thinks he's a sassy brat, but appreciates having an attentive listener that asks questions to ramble about his work with, and Loki indulges in his enjoyment of Midgardian machinery while regressed to preteen ages - Clint in particular, as the resident prankster outside of Loki, gets a lot of pranks pulled on him to entertain the kid. For the most part, appearing nearby, saying something ominous, and then disappearing between blinks. - Kids are usually terrified of Bucky, so when Loki seems chill to just hang out with him and sometimes watch a movie, he's just as chill to do so. At first he briefly wonders "Who's kid is this?" and then decides his memory issues are bad enough that it's entirely possible this is the kid of an Avenger or Avenger associate that he's just forgotten - Natasha really wants to know who the hell this kid is, and puts it together after Tony calls him mini-Loki in front of her. Though she enjoys entertaining him regardless of whether she knows who she is or not - She tends to show him lots of weaponry and things that she shouldn't be teaching children. They also have challenges to see who can hit a target with a throwing knife more accurately

Agere Stranger Things Headcanons

Steve, Robin, and Eddie edition part two! Because I was writing the first one and then got that notification about not being able to save it and realized I was talking too much Pt. 1

Steve absolutely LOVES angel milk (the honey + vanilla variant) in a bottle - Robin often uses her little gear at Steve's house even while not little just because she likes it - Steve speaks in that classic "I don' wan' do 'at" kinda tone with a big lisp and shortened words and missed hard consonants, but Robin sounds like a pretty normal kid - Meaning she has the absolute worst volume control. She's either mumbling or absolutely yelling and there's no in between /hj - Steve is really good at snapping between headspaces. If he's regressing and someone who is not meant to know shows up, he's big in an instant, then back to little again when they're gone - Robin and Eddie are not. Robin can act big, but she doesn't become big, and Eddie can't act or be big on command at all. - Robin loves chocolate milk and orange juice, and she hates eggs - This is exclusive to being regressed. She actually hates chocolate milk while big because she doesn't like the texture, same with eggs - Eddie started working out and going on runs with Steve so he could be able to pick them up for a few minutes at a time - The first time he gave Robin a piggy back ride she was squealing with joy - Robin often has her hair up in teeny tiny half-up pigtails with those sparkly poofy tinsel-like hairties - She's convinced Steve and Eddie to do this too - Eddie really likes talking while little, and often gets upset if he gets interrupted or who he's talking to doesn't seem interested - This is hard because quite often he's really hard to understand, both because of his child lisp and because of how fast he's talking - Because Steve's parents are so rarely home, he just straight up has turned one of the guest rooms into Robin's room, and it has most of their little gear in it - He locks it when she isn't there, but she has the key and his parents don't because he changed the doorknob. Just in case. - Eddie spent two hours putting a false back into two of his cabinets for them to store bottles, sippy cups, and other agere dishware, also just in case. - Steve didn't ask him to do this - Robin hates self care while little, especially brushing her teeth - Steve and Eddie often have to either turn it into a game, or when that fails, just sit there and hold her hand while she does and cries. The whole nine yards, snot, tears, hiccupping, everything. full on kid crying over brushing her teeth - Steve absolutely loves getting his hair washed. Especially when Eddie does it, because he has the longest nails out of the three of them and they feel really good scratching his scalp - Eddie hates getting baths, and would rather be a filthy mess than get bathed by someone. He thinks it's super embarrassing - Robin loves the woods while little, but she almost got eaten by a coyote one time and was banned from going outside without supervision afterward - Steve, for some reason none of them can explain, can not swim while regressed. They found this out the hard way - Robin is even more uncoordinated somehow. She gets so many bruises when regressed, especially when she's still getting used to Steve's house - Steve, unlike while big, is not a silent crier. He has massive tantrums. Eddie and Robin, on the other hand, are often quiet. Robin is only loud when she's upset over something mild, if it's serious she gets really quiet. - Robin talks a mile a minute, and even though she's usually the most articulated out of the three of them, nobody has a single clue what she's saying when she really gets going

Agere Stranger Things Headcanons

Specifically, The Crew (I assume there's an official name, but I couldn't tell you what it is. I've genuinely just been calling them The Crew for months)

aka Robin, Eddie, and Steve agere headcanons Pt. 2

Steve and Robin are the primary littles of the group, with Steve and Eddie also being primary CGs, but all three of them are flips - Robin leans more towards regressing than Steve does - She is also a total complete menace. She's chaotic, and typically super high energy, and never stops talking. She gets bored five seconds after starting an activity she seemed super interested in - Steve is weirdly chill but also has no filter. He'll go from seeming like a really easily entertained toddler to straight roasting you - Eddie regresses REALLY rarely. even when he was already a CG for Steve and Robin, he was embarrassed about it and never told them, and felt a bit like a burden for wanting to ask them to take care of him - He regressed in the privacy of his room only when he got so stressed out he couldn't stop. He never regressed on purpose before the other two found out - Robin and Steve found out that Eddie regressed because he was so upset and exhausted and little that he didn't realize it was a terrible idea to go see Steve (and by extension, Robin) until he was already knocking on the door - Eddie promptly started sobbing and Robin and Steve spent the night trying to calm him down - Now he regresses on purpose from time to time, but not very often. both because he doesn't feel the need to, but also because he associates regressing with negative emotions - Steve is really prone to any and all emotions, either super easily entertained or super easily upset - This is because he's usually really stressed out and regressing is his coping mechanism - One time Robin was watching over him and Steve was already upset about not also having Eddie around that when he (very, very gently. didn't even hurt) hit his arm coming around a corner he promptly broke into violent sobs that took Robin twenty minutes to calm him down from - He watched a kids VHS tape literally five minutes later with a popsicle in hand and was 100% fine - Robin and Steve love cooking/baking while regressed, but are banned from the kitchen (together) because they always make a MASSIVE mess somehow - They're allowed to help cook when with a CG, but they have to be heavily supervised - Robin loves accessories, especially those kids bow hair clips - Dress up is one of her favorite things. Steve has been subject to many feather boas and makeup. So has Eddie, but he thinks it's delightful - Eddie is super great with littles, which Steve thought was super out of character for the longest time - Eddie has just. such a PLETHORA of nicknames for any little he meets, and Robin and Steve used to blush like crazy and get all embarrassed whenever he used them - He calls Robin munchkin most often, and Steve is angel. Robin is (not really) upset that she doesn't get to be the angel, meanwhile Steve is both bright red and also filled with some sort of giddy happiness because he never had that kind of attention as a kid - Once every other month or so, Steve will have some really nasty feelings about his parents and wishing they were there. Robin and Eddie have, multiple times, noticed that it hasn't happened recently and the next day Steve will come sobbing about how he misses his mom, but the mom he misses doesn't exist - Robin and Eddie also get like this, but for Robin it's both her parents and for Eddie it's his dad, and it's a bit less common (Eddie) and a bit less dramatic (Robin)

Agere Mumbo Headcanons

The tiniest inventor <3

He was Grian's caregiver for years before he started regressing, and he felt really guilty when he realized that he wanted to regress - (Grian was ecstatic, because he's been wanting to have playdates with a little Mumbo for a while, but felt weird saying anything) - He thinks that he's going to be a kinda older little, so does Grian, he's also hoping for that because it means he'll feel less guilty about not being able to take care of Grian - Sometimes he will, in fact, regress to an older age, but a lot of the time he regresses to something pretty young that he needs An Adult. - Mostly because he chews on everything. He will eat anything you put anywhere NEAR him. he needs 24/7 supervision and a padded room - He buys a miniature redstone contraption build kit for regressing before he regresses for the first time, mostly out of impulse knowing he has plenty to spare money wise and if he winds up not being able to regress he can just give it to Etho - He and Tango promptly eat half the parts before someone notices - He's sick and miserable for three days after that - Grian tries very hard to take care of him, but he's not a caregiver at heart and is, at best, a babysitter for an hour or two if nobody else is available. Most of the time he ends up regressing himself - Mumbo doesn't have a particular CG he prefers as far as he claims, but he's typically drawn towards Impulse and Pearl thanks to being apart of Boatem with him - Several times has he regressed old enough he didn't want a CG, adamantly shooed them away, and then regressed younger and gone crying to the nearest hermit - It's incredibly often that he will demand to see Grian while regressed, and if Grian isn't summoned Right That Instant he will pitch a fit - It varies from day to day whether it's cute how much he cares about his best friend or frustrating because Grian is straight up not available and nothing will get Mumbo to settle down - Grian compares him to Grumbot because of this, and Mumbo then has to learn that his son was built in another server without him while he was away and said son then promptly blew up that server - Grian makes him a Grumbot plush, and when he's old enough to use redstone safely but not old enough to be big, he starts building small redstone bits and bobs to put in it - After a few months, the Grumbot plush is an actual sentient Grumbot, except it's more child than any of the other ones ever were - Plush!Grumbot is delighted by little!Mumbo and little!Grian and calls them his brothers when they're regressed, but dads when they're not - Mumbo loves plush!Grumbot and will cry if he realizes he doesn't have it - He doesn't have designated agere clothes. Pearl suggested it one time and he freaked out at the idea of changing into something that wasn't his trusty, well tailored, perfect fabric suit that he has thirty copies of - He also isn't a big fan of messy activities like finger painting or playing in the mud, and will get upset if he gets dirty somehow - Super, super picky eater. A lot of the time he's determined to cook himself food he knows he'll like the texture of, and won't be allowed to because he's too little - He calls Grian "Gubba" because when Grian came around for the first time Mumbo regressed, he called him "Mubba", proclaiming that "Mama" (derived from "Mumma" and "Mum") were for CG Mumbo - The first agere gear he ever got himself was a very soft red crab plush that's the perfect size for cuddling and has big plastic eyes. His name is Louis and Mumbo loves him dearly
