Today is Veteran's Day. I feel too often, our veterans go un-thanked and pushed to the side. I have such a high level of respect for people doing what I would never be capable of doing. I am proud to be able to feel that the fighting is not necessary because of the fighting others have already done. There Are Heroes Among Us. This is Danny Francisco, a 96-year-old WWII veteran who flew 50 successful missions over Europe as a tail-gunner in a B-17 warplane. He recently had the chance to jump back in the same plane he fought at 18 years old in 1945. Stories like his need to be told as veterans like him are the reason the world is free today. He is a hero that lives among us, and there are plenty more in this great country. I love #Halloween for two major reasons. First off, it gives you this awesome opportunity to express yourself in the craziest way possible - and nobody judges you for it at all! In-fact, they actually kind of praise you for it. Haha. It feels good to get into a character and portray them for a day - maybe I'm just weird.⠀ ⠀ Secondly, Halloween is the first of the major holiday season! Shortly after we have holidays like Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, New Years! It's going to be interesting to see how my favorite time of the year stands up to this whole COVID situation.
