my first actual story from back when i was 7 or something was literally about a bunch of girls being transported to a magical world where they had to connect pieces of lore on their way to fight a literal 10m tall figure made entirely of slime with the power of friendship and i think the magical girls to depressive and political dystopia pipeline i created as a writer is great. and the fact that the difference between the two is only seven years is hilarious.

friendly reminder that its canon that walburga and orion werent death eaters, just supporters and that they agreed with voldemorts ideologies. they were too scared of what he could do to enroll as death eaters. and they didnt force regulus (and im pretty sure thats canon too), but ended up viewing him as a hero for that nonetheless because 'my brave little boy!'. then regulus pussied out thinking what theyd ask from him.
like, disagree with jkr all you want but. that makes sense.
