Casually playing stardew valley, I head outside to find sebastian and...

So I ended up in a two hour hyperfixation after getting a stroke of inspiration thanks to @dipplinduo It's merely a pencil draft right now, not to mention I was sick with a nasty cold, but here is a Ribombee mask I drew based on the thought of if their story had taken place during Teal mask and an idea involving the festival of masks.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Characters AGAIN~!

So I decided to do ANOTHER character post, because I played through the DLC's not that long ago, so let's just dive right into this shall we~? (Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's; Teal Mask and Indigo Disk Spoilers ahead! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.) Starting with my new favourite character~! (Sorry not sorry Arven!) KIERAN

Where do I start???

Upon first meeting him, my inital impression was; 'Aww, adorable wet cat boi! He needs a hug!

Throughout the course of teal mask I began to feel REALLY bad because well...

How dare the game make me lie to that face-

I went into the DLC's practically blind, so his change in personality, while I saw it building up in Teal mask, still got me HELLA off guard in Indigo disk.

Like DAMN boi!

I personally really liked the idea of the theory of the toxic chain (Though I know it was not what actually happened in the game) twisting Kieran's desires, that might just be me though.

For those who might be curious...yes, yes I did use Ogrepon against Kieran.

The fact that he was so desperate to beat Juliana/Florian (Player Character) That he used a master ball to catch terapagos and then recklessly used the pokemon that he barely knew anything about... said something

I liked the overall character arc for Kieran (though I wish I could have given him a hug at the end when he apologized)

Definitely throwing him onto the therapy bandwagon with Arven though.

CARMINE

Moving on to Carmine, I...had a mixed first impression of her.

She agitated me at first, but I knew i was only looking at the surface so I didn't want to jump to conclusions

and damn was I glad that I didn't, she proved to be an enjoyable character.

She started to win me over when Kieran tells the player character, "Actually, she was tearin' the shed apart, trying to find a third mask for you before you got there..."

That finally tipped my dense brain off that she's not all mean and that she does care, just doesn't exactly show it in front of others.

she completely won me over when she told me I could sucker punch Drayton (I love him but sometimes I stg-)

When she was genuinely showing worry for her brother during Indigo disk I just kinda sat their like; "I did this, and I'm sad that I did this." regretti spaghetti was hitting hard.

She also paid witness to Kieran nearly DYING near the end of indigo disk, not to mention helping with battling terapagos... and so...

*Yeets her into the Therapy Wagon* That makes the therapy count four now. (I never mentioned this in my previous character posts but Arven and Penny are ALSO in the therapy bandwagon) Whose next?!

DRAYTON

This guy

THIS GUY.

Don't get me wrong, I love him as a character

But sometimes, SOMETIMES, I want to punch him.

For me at least, he's like the older sibling that LOVES to annoy the hell out of his younger siblings.

but I wont lie I was definitely giggling a bit under my breath when he swaggered up to Kieran and called him "Ex Champion"

It was like he'd been WAITING to say that in revenge for when Kieran beat him and dethroned him from his champion spot.

He is cunning and I love that to bits.

he knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he dragged you into joining the league club and getting you to challenge the elite 4 + Kieran.

"I've got a feeling you're trying to play puppet master." He was not just trying, he was playing puppet master rather successfully.

BRIAR

This may turn into a rant but here we go regardless!

At first, I thought; ah a professor, surely she must be pretty responsible!

and yeah at first she was decently responsible for the students she was in charge of.

Then I started getting near the end of indigo disk

Madam, I know that Kieran is a strong trainer, but also, let him mentally spiral in peace.

Also the fact that Kieran literally says this; "Ms.Briar can be so reckless sometimes... I feel like I always have to keep an eye on her."

Okay, mild concern is officially rising.

'Terrastrialize Terapagos' she says, Ah yes, let's terrastrialize this pokemon that was only JUST caught and we know nothing about, that's totally safe!

Now we're BOTH to blame for Kieran and Carmine requiring therapy!

Despite this I don't hate her

but GodDAMN she nearly gave me a stroke-

Master Detective Archives: RainCode; THE FINALE

SPOILERS AHOY! IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THIS GAME PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Alright, with the obligatory warning out of the way, LETS CRACK INTO THIS. First of all, I was definitely not ready for the twists this game was boutta knock me upside the head with, like, at all. Starting with the simple fact of how they turned something the fandom MILKED for all it's worth in jokes into a key plot point was just... well fucking played. Also known as the pink blood. Trying to wrap my head around 'Homunculi' was a trip and a half. Once I DID have my head wrapped around the concept though, things made way more sense . Makoto being a Homunculi I saw coming after the investiagtion in the labratory in the restricted area. Specifically that he was the first successful one that disappeared. I was confused, but not that confused. What did get me good was Yuma Kokohead...not...being...Yuma Kokohead...but rather number one. Oh dear. Cause I had originally suspected that the number one we saw on the screen in the office was the big bad or smth, I just knew there was something kinda off about him. I was barking up the wrong tree clearly. When I got to the part where the game finally revealed that homunculi have pink blood I had a realization and was very happy that this information was the confirmation I needed to know, MY CHILDREN WEREN'T DEAD. (Aka the other detectives for those who may not have seen my previous blab.) Then there was Makoto...hoo boy. Don't get me wrong, I like Makoto as a character, but I was a MIXED ass bag of emotions with him. Between first cussing him out wondering where the hell the others were, then changing to applauding him for his cleverness in using us to get rid of Yomi, then finally to; "Oh shit, I don't actually want to kill you anymore... uhhh-" Then the emergency exit coming out and Shinigami finally telling us what the price is for using it and... Oh dear I nearly started crying (and usually when it comes to emotional moments in fiction I am a stone wall.) We've been through so much shit with Shinigami, it HURT to have to go our separate ways from her, it just hurt! Finally I just wanted to touch on that EPILOUGE. I was SO happy to see all the other detectives (Sans Yakou, RIP.) at the office and getting ready to head out. Nearly had a panic when I couldn't locate Vivia, only for him to be hiding in a suitcase hoping someone would carry him. Kurumi going out to search for Number one and travel is kinda cute, I was also EXTREMELY relieved that the ramen shop owner was able to develop a ramen with all of the nutrients Homunculi need so they didn't have to eat the meatbuns anymore. Thank goodness TvT. ALRIGHTY. I DID mention I would list my favourite characters so HERE WE GO. (Keep in mind this is just MY opinion. I'll just do a top 5 list for the sake of length) 1. Vivia Twilight (Yakou WAS my favourite character at first, but then I got to know Vivia's character a bit better I couldn't help but love his lazy ass. Not to mention I found his forte SO cool!) 2. Yakou (I Miss My Wife Tails) Furio. (Ah yes, my favourite Hobo detective as I like to call him. I call him that because when he wears that big coat he kinda looks like a Hobo. Anyways, watching him try to be the voice of reason for the other detectives is just too entertaining to not like him.) 3. Fubuki Clockford. (She's so sweet, yet so forgetful. Tbh I find it cute. She's another one of the detectives whose forte I find really interesting. I will admit though, my first impression of her was; "Dumb, dumb as hell." but she's so cute. I just love her.) 4. Halara Nightmare (They're SO badass! Watching them kick around the Peacekeepers like it's nothing is always a good time! Also, we appreciate an Animal lover here, yes we DO! I love Halara's forte and using it during the Nail Man investigations was quite interesting. 5. Shinigami (Our adorable, lenient, troublesome, and mean companion! God I don't know how anyone can't like her? She's so amusing and has literally NO filter! Only reason she's lower on the list is because MY emotional attachment was more towards the other detectives.)

Master Detective Archives; RainCode, for the THIRD time.

Alright, So i have made it to the beginning of the final Mystery Labyrinth... and holy shit so much as happened. So hands were indeed thrown, in the direction of Yomi. I am still not over what happend to Yakou and what he did. I was NOT expecting Yakou to be the culprit in a million years and it only made me MORE sad over his death. Thankfully I was also gushing over Vivia at the same time so... I like to think it evened out somewhat- but holy hell that was OUTTA left field getting dragged to the restricted area and suddenly this turns into a ZOMBIE game?? Talk about jumpscare! Then I realized, where are the others? From this point I began to keep my eyes peeled for them. All while trying to absorb the info given in the game towards the big secret. between trying to understand just how the hell these characters who I knew damn well were dead were now walking around zombified and trying to find the other detectives, the septic tank had been once again thrown into the fan. then as I was exploring the factory... I saw Desuhiko's clothing and supposed skeleton... and I immediately went from; where are my kids? To; (Warning; a lot of swears ahead) MAKOTO, ANSWER ME, YOU STUPID FUCKING BITCH, WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY CHILDREN?!

(Me having an anerisum over where TF the other detectives are^) I just do not have enough reason to believe those four are dead yet despite seeing the "Corpses" mostly due to other games I've played where my brain has developed a process of; If I don't see the death with my own eyes that doesn't always mean their dead. Also, finding out the meatbuns that the townsfolk seem to love so much are made from human flesh....was kinda disgusting. I figured it out once I saw the meatbuns on the conveyor belt upon first entering the building. But yeah, once my switch is charged up again I'll be tackling the final Mystery Labyrinth! I don't think I'll be posting another blab on this until I finish the game, so during that blab I'll try to consise my thoughts down and list my favourite characters! See you then~!

Master Detective Archives; RainCode AGAIN.

At this point I have reached chapter four, and with what has happened I have decided to scribble another blab down... BECAUSE I AM READY TO THROW HANDS LEFT RIGHT AND CENTER. (CHAPTER FOUR SPOILERS AHEAD! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)

The chapter started off fine, me still being skeptical of Makoto, and having a weird fixation on Vivia for whatever reason- You go into the secret lab with Makoto and things are fine for a bit. Hitman threatening someone? okay nothing new... Then all hell breaks loose, Desuhiko and Yakou show up to save you after getting captured. You go to the intercom to speak to the scientist, he seems okay, then you see him freak out at someone being in his lab and the feed cuts, okay, he's likey dead as a dodo bird. Using Ama pal you get into the lab investiage for about 2.5 seconds when you have to deal with Yomi's annoying ass again and then it HAPPENED. Yakou screamed, you manage to give Yomi the slip and that is when I saw the sight that has made me ready to throw hands. Yakou

This guy is my favourite character and I am in PANIC mode rn But of course... My switch started to die. Lovely timing switch. (I own a switch lite, so I can't play it like a full console, just handheld.) so for now I gotta wait to find out if my favourite detective hobo is gonna live or not-

Okay, with that out of my system, I really have been enjoying the twists and turns of this game! all in all, a good summary of this... GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY IT'S ALL GONE TA SHIT! But I digress, this is getting long so I'll leave it here. Until next time~!

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code

So I found a thing!

and I may or may not be obsessed already lol. I have not finished the game (Not anywhere close) I've only just gotten past seeing Number one for the first time so please no spoilers! I just felt the need and desire to talk about this game because I am enjoying it so much. First off, so far my favourite character is Yakou Furio. The biggest contributor to that being that I just had this clicking in moment when I heard his voice and instantly recognize the VA for once in my lifetime. Which definitely didn't have anything to do with me being a huge Gojo Satoru fangirl- 😅 Shinigami is ADORABLE in her own way, and I'd be lying if I said that she didn't have me nearly splitting my sides open laughing with some of her lines in the first Labyrinth.

"Just stare at my boobs for eight seconds-" pffff, that had me so off guard I was crying from how hard I laughed.

and omfg the main char is so CUTE! He's so precious and I am looking forward to learn more about the adorable amnesiac~! SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER ZERO AHEAD!!! Okay if there was one thing that I wasn't expecting that I SHOULD have expected considering this game was made by the same people who made Danganronpa- It was for everyone except yourself in the cast getting TORCHED/KILLED about ten minutes after you meet them. Holy HECC though I LOVED the the Labyrinth design~! Eye candy for my easily distracted dumbass~! The fact that you might have to take potentially wrong paths first to discover red herrings before going back on your tracks has me intrigued with what other Labyrinths may do. But uh... might I just say that... uh... Zilch my good sir... thats uh... thats an interesting form you got there as you sit upon your fort... My oh my. Don't get me wrong, I find Zilch interesting and have nothing against him, Fake or not. But the mystery Phantom Zilch was SOMETHING.

Couldn't take it seriously to save my life-

The Kanai ward I found kind of pretty...in an eerie way. It reminded me of a few different locations from other games I've played, an example being Spikemuth from Pokemon Sword and Shield, most likely due to all the Neon lights and signs. the constant rain has me intruiged though, I am very curious as to it's causation. Full disclosure? Was not expecting the Agency to be an entire ass Submarine but I mean Hey; We all live in a Yellow submarine right? Okay, that joke was probably bad, I apologize. I'm not going to say too much on the other detectives in the agency because I don't know their characters too well yet. I might talk about this game again at a later point when I've finished it. I love the difference between these three games getting sucked into the metaverse like

Yu gets a normal ass day, a couple of weird dreams, but he gets a few days to adjust to the world around him, meet his new friends. Murder happen but his uncle's a detective, it'll be fine. He doesn't get to the Other Side shit until after he accidentally puts his arm through a tv right before the second murder and then he starts poking around on his own accord.

Joker gets like 2 days of peace before he meets another dude and faceplants into the metaverse with him. No idea what's going on, everyone is just as confused as he is, everyone is freaking out.

Makoto/Kotone just get off a train first day of transferring and the lights are out, coffins are everywhere, it's the midnight hour and they run over to their dorm like 'what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck' and meet people that act like this is COMPLETELY NORMAL and also there's a girl with a gun???

My Persona 5 Royal Experience (Palaces!)

I FINALLY finished playing Persona 5 Royal today and decided to write my thoughts down in a post. I'll start with the Palaces/storyline and THEN get into the character stuff, because that's a lot of stuff to cover I'll split this into two posts, one for the palaces, one for the characters. We'll start with the Palaces. Note, with the palace talk I'll likely end up talking about each palace ruler anyways sooo, yeah. Also, these are just my opinions, I'm not saying you have to agree with me. you've been warned. (HUGE SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T FINISHED PERSONA 5/ PERSONA 5 ROYAL DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT IF YOUDO NOT WANT SPOILERS) Kamoshida's Palace!

-Okay, deep breath to contain the burning hatred I have for this man- - With this palace, it was the first palace so I wasn't sure what to expect... - And then I saw the eyesore that was the cognitive Kamoshida in nothing but a cloak and a pink speedo- My eyes have never been so offended by a sight. - Akiren's awakening was really epic though and really got me to start sinking into the game. - I loved the overall look of this palace, it was really good as a beginning palace but maaay have raised the bar a tad too high for the others with all the build up. - Shiho's suicide attempt had me prepping my shotgun in a hurry though, I wanted that man dead after that happened. - Alright time to get this infiltration route- annnnd there's Ann, god we're developing a bad habit of accidentally taking people to the metaverse with us aren't we? - Note, I also made a LOT of "We're in prison Vegeta" jokes during the entire playthrough. - The boss battle tho, THE ABOMINATION that Kamoshida's shadow turned into. - MY EYES, if I thought Shadow kamoshida was bad? THIS WAS WORSE. He was THE MOST disgusting shadow I'd ever SEEN. - Overall though loved this castle, it really set the stage for what was to come.

Madarame's Palace

-Alright onto Madarame, this one was...interesting.

-Getting it out of the way now, the nude painting incident had me in TEARS from how hard I was laughing.

-The sheer defiance of gravity that building displayed though certainlly left an impression.

-Unlike Kamoshida's palace, which quickly made me feel a burning need to destroy kamoshida almost immediately and increase as progression into the palace continued...

-This was a delayed urge to murder.

-I mean yes- he did plagarize and use his own students work, but by my standards, NOT the scummiest thing you can do. -Now when I learned about the stuff with YUSUKE'S mother, all bets were off, I was MAD after that. Not to the levels of Kamoshida, but mad nonetheless.

-Yusuke's drop in outta nowhere gave me a good giggle, particularly with him getting headshot by mona after managing to stick the landing. Also accidental team member count; 2 - The first treasure being a red herring was definitely a bit of a twist, but the bigger twist was seeing the true form of Sayuri because for me, that's what made the pieces fall into place. - Also shadow Madarame's transformation didn't freak me out as much as Kamoshida, probably because by that point my brain had become accustomed to weird sights at this point, but that's aside my point. - That point being that I just didn't find Madarame's shadow to be quite as freaky as the first.

Kaneshiro's Palace!

-Welcome to the bank folks! I'm starting straight off the bat with the fact that this palace automatically gets a thumbs up from me because we get Makoto here.

-Also I got one of my favourite personas here, Ame-no-uzume. I used her for quite a bit before I let her go for stronger personas because she had good elemental coverage.

-I found the bank asthetic fun becuase it kinda felt like I was doing an old fashioned bank robbery.

-between breaking security cams and stealing keycards it was pretty fun, until the large rotating lock right at the end of the palace.

-My saving grace is that I was using a guide when I played this game due to it being my first time with a persona game. That and I was recommended to use one while playing by my siblings who had either seen the gameplay and or played it themselves.

-the guide saved me a lot of time with the puzzles in general.

-Oh dear god the boss battle though, I think the piggytron bot gave me trauma.

-Hits like a semi truck and if you don't guard in time say goodbye to your team. - Overall it wasn't a bad palace, I just didn't have the same rage towards the shadow as I usually do. Futaba's Palace

-This palace-

-WHO GAVE THIS PALACE THE RIGHT TO MAKE ME ACTUALLY EMOTIONAL?!

-The fact that we were going into the palace of someone who was willingly let us change their heart was quite different

-but ohmygod the story hit me in my FEELERS

-When you start seeing the pieces of the story and how Futaba was gaslit into blaming herself for her mother's death

-How she sees her room as her tomb, and how heavy the guilt of her mothers death has weighed on her.

-Only for during the boss fight futaba comes INTO her own palace and faces the truth for herself

-Revealing that not only was it not futaba's fault, but that her mother's death wasn't even suicide.

-Seeing her finally face the truth and awaken her persona had me nearly crying

-Little lion girl got her fight back.

Okumura's Palace

-Oh boy, This palace... was a doozy.

-Once I had dealt with Mona having an emo phase this palace became much less stressful

-Holy shit Haru's awkening actually startled me though, I was not expecting CANNONS underneath her personas dress, in hindsight I should have.

-The fact that all of the 'workers' are robots in his cognition says something about how he saw them.

-though I found it so funny that the workers were so pissed with their higher ups that they gave away their bosses weakness and the others weaknesses.

-Dog eat dog work enviroment much?

-The boss fight took SEVERAL attempts for me unfortunately.

-Tbh though I half did NOT believe his apology when he started apologizing. Something just wasn't sitting right with me.

-Turned out THAT wasn't what I should have been worried about, it was the masked person showing up and well, killing Okumura.

-Well, if it isn't the consiquences of my actions?

Sae's Palace

-One of my favourites as the timeline was getting oh so close to the present~!

-I mean, I got to have Akechi in my party (Even if it IS the boring princely facade version) So that was an automatic win.

-Sae showing up basically off the bat and calling us down scared me half to death.

-Also fair my ass she rigged all the games-

-A lot of the games in the casino were interesting to play and simple enough that it wasn't hard to play.

-Though the dark maze was a bit of a pain, relying on the minimap was the easiest way I found to navigate in there.

-Sae: "The amount to cross the bridge is now one million chips!"

Me: BITCH MOVE SAE!!!

-I was mad for all of one minute though as Akechi just broke out the extra card he was told to dispose of.

-The boss battle was interesting, what with the roulette wheel of elements and CHRIST she hurts.

-Oh yes, did I forget to mention the police showing up after you defeat shadow Sae?

-Running from the police was so much fun despite the fact that you've technically already done it at the beginning of the game.

-and also despite the fact that you know in the end you'll just get caught.

-Overall love this palace.

Shido's Palace

-This palace was quite the experience for me.

-For some context, at an earlier point in the game I'd spitballed the idea that Akechi and Shido were perhaps related. Not thinking much of it because I didn't have alot of evidence at the time.

-I was also NOT expecting to get turned into a mouse but it was so cute and fun to run around as mice versions of the phantom thieves that it made up for not being able to defend myself or open doors in that form. At least for me.

-but then the AKECHI confrontation happened, and when he confirmed that Shido was his father, my brain BROKE. I had in no way thought my theory was correct.

-Also, I gotta say it, FERAL AKECHI! I LOVE HIM TO BITS!

-Seeing his second persona and outfit was so epic, I was screaming. DESPITE the fact that I knew Akechi was the one in the black mask for quite sometime thanks to the pancake conversation.

-and the fact that his persona is LOKI THE GODDAMNED TRICKSTER GOD was so perfect for his second persona!

-Then the waitohgodNO- hit as cognitive Akechi showed up, and the real one cuts us off from him.

-THE BOSS BATTLE OHMYGOD-

-I was headbopping the whole time I played that boss fight hearing Rivers in the desert SUCH A BANGER!

-The several different phases to the battle and me sitting there after the final stand like; "Is he down now? okay good."

-The escape had me momentairly scared, because OH GOD NO RYUJI NOT MY GOOD BOI!

Mementos Depths

-Getting it outta my system rq; YALDYBALDY.TM

-Full disclosure? If I saw one more floor puzzle in that place I was going to bash my head in.

-The palace itself was pretty linear and simple to get through, but the boss battle was where it was AT. - winding the way through the depths of mementos full of weird cells and and...zombie people? was strange enough.

-and then that's when I see the golden cuppie that can...talk??? Okay this got weirder, yet interesting.

-OH. Golden cuppie is god? Oh dear. I see how it is. *Pumps shotgun* Not the first time I've thrown hands with god.

-Mementos combining with the real world created what I could only describe as the elephant graveyard from lion king. It was disturbing yet epic.

-When I saw Yaldabaoth's full form though, HOLY SHIT that was actually intimidating!

-I failed this battle at least three times before I finally gave in and picked up a certain persona known for Myriad Of Truths-

-and then the grand finale when joker summons what is basically satan and SHOOTS YALDYBALDY STRAIGHT IN THE HEAD. Screaming went through the ROOF!

-Overall the palace was kinda meh for me, but the boss fight made it worth it.

Dr.Maruki's Palace

-Time to fite god again.tm

-This palace felt different because the palace owner was TRYING to make a positive change.

-But Maruki, being the blind idiot he is, seriously did not see how flawed his plan was.

-tbh though the first few days before I was even in the palace I thought I was on a crack trip. Much confusion. Such wow.

-Another Akechi appearing award. Third semester Akechi is SO good.

-Extra thumbs up for getting to travel through the palace with FERAL Akechi!

-Learning that Kasumi was actually Sumire though got me with my pants down.

-The puzzles in the palace weren't overly annoying and were kinda enjoyable tbh.

-Then there was the garden of eden at the top of Maruki's palace, that was a sight to behold.

-and it also ended up making me think of something else entirely unrelated to persona.

-As sad as Maruki's story was... all bets were off when he tried to make that deal mentioning what would happen to Akechi.

-Yeaaaah that made me mad.

-The boss was on point though, Azathoths appeance was disturbing yet felt kind of fitting in a way.

-and the way it transformed when Maruki managed to evolve his persona into Adam Kadmon

-Eventually followed up with a final bullet to the head, the build up was SO delicious and the ending was satisfying, even getting to physically punch the CRAP out of Maruki before you can escape the palace.

-It, and Persona 5 Royal, was an amazing game.

ALRIGHT FINALLY FINISHED THIS. This ended up way longer than I thought and makes me glad that I chose to put the characters in their own separate post. Hope y'all enjoyed.

This is my Kingdom Hearts OC, Lyra, in heartless form! I drew this with my mouse so go easy on it. XD Nonetheless I'm quite proud of how it turned out, and I hope you guys like it too! Because of her hearts special connection with Riku, he's able to understand what she's saying, but to everyone else she just sounds like she's making squeaking noises, leading to some pretty funny one sided conversations from others point of view. Sora and Kairi literally asked him if they should get him a therapist despite the fact that neither of them have room to talk about needing therapy.
