Ok so, I have a question- Do you write character x character for kny? Nothing for or against it was stated in your rules, so I thought I'd ask. Have a lovely day!
Hello! I don't mind character x character as long as it's not problematic in any way- in other words, a proship. I simply am a bit picky when it comes to shipping characters so I don't have any ships of my own. Thank you for asking!

Oh my God I have this idea–
So what if Kind!Muzan has rarely to never show what his Blood Demon Art is, and he also never show a majority of his demons (including his Kizuki's) his fighting skills. He is also always patient and never raises a hand nor voice at his demons. He was always so gentle and soft-spoken. You immediately feel safe when he is around.
So most of his demons thinks of him as weak and needs protection, and little believes otherwise. Not that they minded. They are all willing to lay their lives to protect their Master and father figure– the man who gave them a 2nd chance in life.
The demons goals here are to live a normal life (as normal as it could get, anyways), and try to blend in with humans for those who can, and live amongst them. Maybe one day demons will be accepted by humanity.
With that in mind, what if, during the Entertainment District Arc, Muzan went to visit Daki again but sees the town/city in complete ruins.
He panicked, worrying for Daki and Gyuutarou. He tried to see if they were alive (they are, according to his telepathic abilities. He can still feel their presence).
And when Daki and Gyuutarou were about to be decapitated, Muzan felt rage like he never had. His aura was so intense that it made everyone freeze out of fear. Whoever was about to decapitate his Upper 6 lost focus and got thrown across the field harshly.
Now Muzan's goal here isn't to kill, but to bring his Upper 6 to safety. Tanjirou and his comrades were considered lucky when Muzan decided to teleport away (thanks to Nakime).
With Muzan's intense anger and horrifying aura– something they've never experienced before– how would they react, especially when Muzan went on a rampage layer on to annihilate the Demon Slayer Corps.
They were a danger to his demons. They needed to be extinct.
How would the demons handle a feral Muzan, who now couldn't recognize them (think like when Nezuko first turned into demon and couldn't recognize Tanjrou). He even attacked them, seeing them as a threat. He was scared(?). But jeez, he was so terrifying with a temper.
Maybe one of them remembered what Muzan liked or a lullaby his mother used to sing to him when he was little (which Muzan went on to sing to the Kizuki's (especially the young ones) and other young demons. Wow, he had such a beautiful voice, too).
Maybe that's when Muzan came to his senses, and tears started forming. He just looked down, his hair covered his face as he cried silently.
He was so stressed. He lost so many people in a course of a thousand year, he didn't want to loose anymore people. Anyone that raised him or befriended him either abandoned him or died, and he never had a proper childhood. He forced himself to grow up because of his position as a demon king.
The (barely surviving) Slayers were confused seeing how loving and gentle the demons were towards Muzan. They comforted him, despite being confused because they had never seen their Master like this. He was usually the strong one.
Nakime, with her Blood Art, quickly warped them home and they took care of Muzan, who doesn't seem to remember who they were and was in a child-like state (like Nezuko, and he was so quiet and refused to speak. He was similar to Kanao– unable to make decisions unless told to).
They don't know how to get Muzan back to normal, but it didn't matter. They'll protect their father just like how he had done so for them. This information was told to the other demons, who got determined to be stronger and prevent slayers from getting to Muzan.
Thank you so much in advance! I apologise of it is too long and too much too read! Feel free to change stuff of you'd like! Or ignore this if you don't feel up to it!
A/N: This idea was such a pleasure to read, so I'll be focusing on continuing this narrative a bit instead of changing what you've already written. My writing style has changed a lot, I hope you still enjoy it! Sorry this is a bit short, my post will be getting longer soon!
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
Truth be told, the uppermoons didn't know nearly as much about their master as he knew about them. When something happened to one of them he knew, and he knew how to help them or fix the situation.
So this.. problem..
It left them stumped.
Ever since the incident, Muzan had barely spoken to anyone, not to mention that it seemed his only pass time was research. Although, not even that got him out of his room in the castle, nothing and no one could do that.
And so, his dear demons tried to come up with a solution, or at least a plan of action
"Nakime-chan, couldn't you-" Douma started, but he was cut of by her "Most certainly not. Teleporting Master out of his room wouldn't achieve much." Resting back against the wall, the ice demon sighed, trying to think of a better solution- though coping with emotions wasn't his field of expertise.
"I must agree with that.. We must find.. some way to get him to come out of the room himself.." The voice of the demon who took over the duty of leading the demons echoed through the room, seemingly lost in thought too.
Daki and Gyutaro were silent, and it was silently understood by most that they truly felt guilty- however, despite their silence, they too had a plan of their own. After all, they somehow felt that more responsibility falls on them, despite all the other demons reassuring then that this couldn't be further from the truth.
They were advised by Kokushibou to not act on their own, especially as the siblings tended to be quite.. Impulsive when it came to deal with emotions. That was also the reason they hadn't listened to the advice they were given- looking back on it, they aren't too proud of it either, but hey, at least it all worked out!
Daki visited him regularly. Talking to him for hours, telling him about how reasonable Kokushibou is, how Douma and Akaza fight less nowadays, how Hantengu leaned to control his emotions better, how she was so happy seeing all the pretty projects Gyokko was making! As much as it saddened her that this seemingly didn't have much effect, it didn't stop her. And Kokushibou was no fool either, he was more than aware of her antics.. but something within him didn't allow him to stop her.
And progress did come, with patience and time, but it did. It was slow, and it showed itself as Muzan finally stepped out of his room. He didn't speak, but he did nod his head as a greeting to everyone he passed before continuing with his walk. Kokushibou could've sworn he saw the faintest smile on the Masters face, too..
..Could it be possible that things were slowly starting to heal?

Secrets shine in sunlight..
Tumblr media
A/N: Part 2 of this lovely post has finally been finished <3
Warnings: it is time for the "comfort" part of hurt-comfort, mentions of blood, potentially ooc Kokushibo but I love him so it's okay
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
A long, long time had passed since the last encounter you had with Kokushibo. He truly did let you think about the situation, or perhaps he had forgotten all about you, that thought poked at your mind too. You made up your mind on the situation, but when it came to reaching out to him.. That seemed impossible. Little did you know, the demon was expecting you to not want to reach out to him, thus he hadn't given you the chance to- and yet he watched over your house whenever his path crossed it. It's just because he may have caused you some paranoia, that's what he told himself at least.
One of those nights, he watched you come out to your garden, put something on the ground- and that's when the smell of blood hit him. It was light, but it was there nonetheless- you were either suicidal or trying to get his attention- so as soon as you went back inside he leaped down to see what you set on the ground, and his gaze fell on a letter, smeared with what seemed like your blood. As soon as he landed on the ground, he retreated back into the shadows, away from your eyes which watched him through the window.
The content of the letter was simple: a date, a time and a location to meet up- "For if we keep avoiding a conversation, neither of us will be satisfied"- that's all you wrote in it. He figured was truly meant for him, unless you just so happened to know another demon swordsman with six eyes.. He doubted you did.
The night came, and you found him waiting for you, patiently leaning against a tree, with his eyes closed. He didn't need to open them to know that you were there, and so he didn't. Instead, he started speaking "I assume you've made a decision.. I shall respect it.. No matter what it is." this time it didn't make you shudder, instead you stepped slightly closer to him. He no longer sensed your fear, it made him curious, you made him curious. One of his eyes opened to observe your beauty, in case this would be the last time he saw it.
"I have. We can continue our meetings.. As long as you don't go after any human from this village."
This was the answer that he thought to be too optimistic to consider, so hearing your voice confirm it confused him beyond belief. "You were scared of me after that swordsmans warning.. What has changed?" His eyes locked with yours, the stars and moon watched over you both, granting you the light to see eachother clearly. "That letter, it only attracted your attention because of the smell of my blood. And yet, despite knowing you could freely hurt me, you didn't do so." He quietly and patiently listened to your explanation- so it truly was your blood. "You went away so you wouldn't hurt me, am I right?" He slowly nodded at the question "Yes, it seems to me that you are.." You waited for him to say something after that, perhaps you wanting him to avoid an entire village was a bit too much, but they were a second family to you.. And if he couldn't spare them for your sake-
"Very well, I shall not hurt anyone from this village.. I do not see how this would inconvenience m-.." You cut him off, wrapping your arms around him- he would've assumed it was too soon for physical affection, but if that is what you desired in this moment- his hands found their way around your torso, resting on your back gently, as if a touch slightly too heavy would bruise you. "You never fail to surprise me.." and yet he wasn't the only one surprised, as you could hear a smile in his voice, and as you for a moment could've mistaken him for a human due to his warm touch.
Bonus:
Your head rested on his chest, yearning to be held for just a bit longer, even if he showed no sign of letting go. "Are you tired?.. Perhaps you should get some rest.." He heard a hum in response, which he took as a confirmation. That hum turned into a short gasp as he easily picked you up, allowing you to continue resting against him. The reaction made Kokushibo smile, and he heard you giggle at the sight of his lips turning up and his gaze softening down at you- and you could've sworn you heard the familiar sound of a heartbeat in his chest. Before you knew it, you were back home, and you feet were back on the ground. Once you approached your front door, you saw him turn away- if he were to go away once again, you'd have no chance of catching him. So you reached to grab his sleeve, startling him, and his head turned to question your movement.
"If you wish, you could stay the night.."
"..As much as I would like to, the morning sun would-"
"-I will cover the windows, you'd be safe inside. That demon slayer is probably still around, so.."
He sighed at the excuse you made up, and allowed himself to be pulled inside by you. Perhaps he could allow himself to be reminded of his human origins, just this once though, and just for you.

Secrets revealed in sunlight..
Tumblr media
a/n: a continuation of this post, a part 2 will be coming soon, this can be considered my comeback ;]
Warnings: Hurt-comfort eventually, reader is scared, mentions of killing/eating humans (only in passing).
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
This really wasn't supposed to happen- but Kokushibo should've known that he would be naive to believe that you would continue to live in complete cluelessness of your situation.
From what he knew, a demon slayer showed up at your doorstep and warned you that tge Upper one of the twelve kizuki had been sighted in the nearby area, and upon hearing the description of him.. You started putting the pieces together.
The way he only showed up at night.
How he never showed his face for to long.
The way any sounds from outside would go silent in his presence.
And that sword.. That damn fucking sword.
When you saw him again tonight, you dropped the bucket of water you were carrying, your body twisted away from the sight of him to start running towards the nearby village.. And he could only stare. Yes, this was the reaction everyone had, to run away in fear at the slightest glimpse of him- rarely, they would fall over in shock
But not you, you didn't react that way the first time you saw him. Instead, you offered him a cup of tea and a smile equally as warm, and in turn he spared your life. That was the first reason at least, but he's grown aware of the fact that this wasn't the only reason he had now. Most importantly than all the others, his heart now found itself in your chest along his.
And now that heart was growing distant from him as you stumbled panicked through fallen leaves and twisted roots, and trees that towered far above covering the skies above. He could've caught up to you quite quickly, but it was almost as if he didn't want to upset you even further- if you were to never look at him again, then so be it- he wanted to at least see you escape the forest without getting injured in some way. Humans could barely see in the dark, and tonight was particularly cloudy, so if the stars and moon wouldn't watch over you, he would instead.
He was quite behind you, but he still noticed the way your foot slipped down a steep hole you were unaware was head of you, and despite his prior promise to himself, that he would only trail behind you, the instinct to catch you overshadowed any other thought he had
You closed your eyes as your foot slipped, closing your eyes to brace for impact, surely you could just continue running after you picked yourself up.. But the impact never came.
You knew very well why, and your eyes only squeezed shut even tighter, almost as if he would force you to open them. Instead, the demon you were running away from mere seconds ago put you down gently, letting you sit on the soft grass. Once his embrace pulled away you shivered at the realisation of how warm it was, but you opened your eyes hesitantly to look at the "man" you let into your home so many times.
"You won't.. Hurt me?.."
"Hurt you?.. If I was to hurt you.. I would've done so long ago.."
The bluntness of his words intimidated you, and he could tell, so he graciously moved his gaze to the ground bellow instead of staring at you.
"But you.. You're a demon."
"..Yes, I am."
"You've killed and eaten so many humans."
"Yes, I have.. And I do not expect you.. to carry such a burden on your shoulders.." the slow words echoed- through the forest, through your mind, through the cracks in your heart. And neither of you spoke after that, not for a while- you walked through the forest in silence, his eyes on the moon and yours on him. That was, until there wasn't long until sunrise and he had to leave, as he always did.
Kokushibo looked at you, his three pairs of eyes looking at yours, and you never knew a demon could have a gaze filled with so much understanding.
"I will let you think about this situation.. I will not return if you do not want me to."

Douma with a fluttery heart and nervousness is so cute and underrated, thank you for the good Douma food!
You're very welcome!! It truly is underrated, but you'd expect someone that has never felt emotions to be at least a bit overwhelmed w/ them, so it just makes sense tbh
-sincerely, a Douma enjoyer (could rant about him for hours, my friends can confirm)

Thinking about..
Douma with a partner that makes him nervous<3
(GN! Reader x Douma)
warnings: none, this is a Douma appreciation post, tooth rotting fluff; Douma is a warning on his own tho
Tumblr media
Now, you may be thinking about how unlikely it would be for someone to make Douma nervous- and you'd be right, the situation was truly.. unexpected. Usually, the ones nervous were the people around him, due to the usually sudden changes in his behavior, and the façade of emotions.. ..but considering the fact that your emotions and what you were going to do next wasn't as predictable as others, that's when you truly mess with his mind. It's not something he doesn't enjoy though, in fact, he found it quite exciting! It finally got him to use his mind, got the gears in his head turning, so he could figure out what you were going to say next, or what you would do.. However, it doesn't mean it didn't make him nervous whenever he said something that made you pause whatever you were doing. With his eyes fixated on you, he watched each one of your reactions, because perhaps he would notice a pattern to rationalize
He never did, and although he could feel his heart beating quicker with each pause before a reply, or witty response, the demon could never figure out if it was truly what people like you called "love". It did feel like it, he wanted to be around you more often, you weren't boring like most humans, humans who he quickly got bored of. Whenever you had to leave his side, he'd make up excuses of how he simply needed you there a bit longer
"Surely you wouldn't mind staying here a bit longer, hm?"
"Oh my, you're leaving so soon? We were just starting to have fun.."
"The door to my room is always open, dear, feel free to come back if you feel lonely.."
The way you make him feel nervous can't compare to anything else he "feels"- for once, he doesn't have to pretend.

Kyougai turned into a demon cause he wanted to appreciate, right? So, Kind Muzan AU, what if he got that appreciation? What if his writing became famous amongst demonkind?
The first person he'd talk about his stories to is Muzan, who also enjoyed his story.
Their (platonic) bond was strong. They were very close. Muzan was even comfortable to share some of his secrets and worries, and Kyougai listened and kept it a secret.
It's no secret on how close the two were, and some (like Gyokko, Akaza, and/or perhaps, Kokushibou) were quite envious. So when Kyougai was killed, what if Muzan fell into deep depression? He doesn't have any motivation to do anything and stays in his room all day. He became unresponsive most of the time. Kyougai was probably the first demon he was comfortable enough with and doesn't betray his trust (like many other had in the past).
They missed Muzan's warm and gentle aura. Now it's just cold and hollow. Muzan showed no reactions to things that he'd usually would (and Gyokko is especially sad at this).
What would the Kizuki's/Uppermoons do to help Muzan with grief? Would he even recover? Or would he just get annoyed with them eventually and just put up a fake front of being alright (which Douma could easily see through).
Maybe one of them (Daki?) even broke down in tears, begging him to just come back? Making even sadder, he merely patted her head and just looked or walked away? For a moment there, maybe she saw a glint of sadness or spark of life in his eyes. She could've just been dreaming, though.
Idk if this is too dark, but if it is, you can ignore it! 😅
Happy, sad, or open ending you can choose!
A/N: I'm veryy sorry about how long it took me to post this, I haven't had motivation to write in a while, but it's back now! Here it is though, I hope you enjoy reading!
Kind!Muzan dealing with Kyougai's death
Warnings: themes of death and grief, pretty heavy subjects, "happy" ending but not really
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
Kyougai was a well known demon in the community. Even though he was only a lower moon, all demons knew his name, but most knew him because of his writing. Many were considered his 'fans', but there was one person who was truly his biggest fan- none other than his master, Muzan. He spent countless days, either reading his work or listening to his ideas while working, sometimes even taking some time to proofread for him.   So, when he found out about his death.. it was like a part of his heart was torn out and then ripped apart. Not only was he a member of what he considered his family.. but it was his responsibility to keep him safe..
And he failed.
Ever since he got the devastating news, grief overwhelmed him and every aspect of his life, and it seemed like there was no escaping it either, as it slowly changed the way he acted..
Even though he already overworked himself, it got even worse, as Kokushibou now couldn't even help with the work- because the door to Muzans office would be locked, and Nakime was rather.. hesitant to go against the masters orders, of not letting anyone other than Muzan into the office. Koku understood that, he was never the type to disobey orders either, so he didn't hold it against her, but he was worried about the fact that the order wouldn't lead to anything good.. No one was really sure what he did in his office, whether he was truly working, or perhaps he just wanted to isolate himself from the outside world.   Not to mention, there was always a sense of.. coldness from his demeanor now. Even progress that was being made during missions, or even something as simple as Gyokko's new artistic ideas failed to cheer him up, or at least light a spark in his eyes. Most meetings were lead by Kokushibou now, only with written notes from Muzan at most.. even though those were rare..   It's clear that all the uppermoon were trying their best to help with the grieving process, but it was clear that they too had issues when communicating to him. Some of them were too scared to bring it up, others didn't know how to approach the situation and they weren't even sure if they should talk to him about it, but there were two who broke the ice- Akaza wasn't just going to sit around while Muzan was in obvious emotional pain, and Daki, though childish, was one of the most deeply attached to him, so of course she wanted things to go back to normal.   Akaza tried to keep it subtle, he never had the courage to address the grief directly. It was always something simple- like knocking on his door and checking up on him, reporting everything that happens in person, rather than just passing the information to Nakime. He could've sworn that with each day Muzan was speaking more and more, even if it was only one extra word, he was simply grateful for even that much..   ..Surprisingly though, Daki was the one who made the most progress- even if it wasn't intentional. The breakthrough happened when Muzan dismissed her concerns (and cries) with a simple pat on her head, before turning to walk away. It's in moments like these that her childlike bluntness ends up being useful, because in that moment, without thinking about it for too long- in between tears, she blurted out something along the lines:
"We're here for you too! You can't just leave us behind when we're trying to help!"
It was probably the stupidest thing she had done- and yet, somehow- it made him stop walking away. It was as if a spark finally light up inside him..
Perhaps this was a turn for the better..
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
A/N: Am I hinting at a part two? Who knows.. grief is one of my favorite topics after all... ;]
P.S: The Douma erasure in all of this was unintentional, I truly do love Douma, I just forgot to involve him in the idea <;/3

Hello! Thank you so much for writing the previous one! I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I'm able to request for more! You're already my favourite writer!
So you can expect my requests to be mainly Kind!Muzan, with slight changes here and there. I hope you don't mind!
Request would be:
Muzan overworking and stressed out. He's doing his absolute best to keep his demons, especially the children, safe. Unfortunately, he's sensitive to the things others (especially the humans) say about him.
He never shows how much it effected his self esteem. He slowly starts to doubt himself. Was he really being a good leader? Was he just playing with people's lives, like Yoriichi had said? Does his demons really love him? Do they talk behind his back?
Muzan grew anxious and tired as the days go by and his mask was slowly slipping away. His Kizukis started noticing this, and quickly became concerned for their Master.
Muzan was always affectionate only when the demons ask for it or need it, never when Muzan himself wanted it. Everything he does is for everyone else, never for himself.
In truth, Muzan loves affections. He just never outright ask or go for it. He waited until the person asks for it. These past few days, Muzan quietly tries to get some comfort and affection from his demons, trying to be subtle about it (it was noticeable after sometime).
This, of course, raises a lot of concerns. Their Master wasn't usually like this. What happened?
Maybe along the way Muzan breakdown when the thought he was alone (he wasn't, maybe someone walked in?).
What would the uppermoons do at that moment?
Thank you so much in advance! Have a great day don't overwork!
A/N: I don't mind!! I love the idea of a kinder version of Muzan, and writing about him is also feeding my Muzan brainrot :'] also thank you!! As always, this will include the 6 og upper moons and Nakime- but also a special additional character ;]
~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆⭒~⭒☆
Kind!Muzan and affection troubles
Truth be told, not all the uppermoons realized the change in his behavior. They only realized because of Nakime, who, due to the fact that she's always in the infinity castle, picked up on this right when it started happening. Oddly enough, the one who noticed next was Rui. He was at the infinity castle to report the fact that he hadn't found the flower Muzan asked for yet- and during the conversation, Muzan pat his head reassuringly, before turning back to his research. He had always been affectionate to the kizukis, and he did act like a father for him- but physical affection was rare nonetheless. And so, he and Nakime sat together trying to figure out what exactly was happening to him.. And in the meantime, the uppermoons started noticing the difference too.
Daki was.. confused. She's not an expert at emotions, and since she still has the maturity of a 13 year old- Gyutaro was the one to understand the change in a way. Although, he certainly hadn't realized why it was happening, so he couldn't explain it to his sister. Instead, they mutually agreed to ask the other uppermoons if they noticed it, and if they knew that reason. Gyokko.. It's safe to say he didn't realise until the others brought it up. He has issues with understanding the reasons behind certain emotions and actions, so he thought that perhaps Muzan was simply growing even more fond of his art. He loved the attention nonetheless, but now that he realized that wasn't the reason, he grew curious.. Hantengu.. figured out the change oddly quickly. His emotions are extreme, so when it comes to things of that nature, he notices them. But he was quiet for a long time, because he was scared that he'd be wrong, and so he kept it to himself, until his peers brought it up Akaza was the one to bring it up first, because he's the one uppermoon who still has a good grasp on emotions. He had his hunches, at first he thought it was their master being paranoid that they'd be defeated too, as the lower moons were. But once he realized that everyone else was experiencing the same thing, he started piecing things together.. Douma, surprisingly, brought up the idea that Muzan could just be looking for affection from there. He regularly has to listen to the issues people have, and he's heard similar stories- to him, it wasn't that hard to figure out. It seems like his attempt to seem affectionate, and by extent, make him feel as cared for as he makes them feel. He made it his goal to change that now that it was more obvious. Kokushibou was oddly clueless as to how to approach the situation. It was truly unlike him, but he was never good at showing affection in the first place, so when he heard the others bring the masters weird behavior up.. He was internally embarrassed he hadn't noticed the change. He truly didn't know how to approach the situation, but knowing that the one he thought of as a brother could be going through something without anyone's support motivated him enough to call a meeting between the kizukis, now that everyone was more or less aware of the issue
So now you may be wondering, what did they decide to do to comfort their master, now that they had figured out what it was? Well, the answer is logical: they wanted to communicate with Muzan, and first reassure him that they are there for him just as he is here for them
So Kokushibou went to call him out to the meeting area and instead of seeing him as composed as he usually was, he was seemingly distraught, the only thing he could do was rush over to make sure his master was alright, even if any words that he might've had got caught in his throat. Muzan was surprised at the sight of what he considered his brother- he thought he was alone- why would anyone be searching for him at this time anyway?-..It's safe to say, instead of everyone talking with him at once, and risking overwhelming him, they decided to slowly adjust their actions so that they could show him how much he truly meant.
And now, for a fluffy bonus: what exactly would they change?
Daki tends to lean towards physical affection, or gossiping about other oirians in the entertainment district. Gyutaro tries to say jokes every now and often, thinking that it would help lighten the atmosphere, and turn it a bit more friendly Gyokko takes a more verbal approach to comfort and affection, and whether it's just chatting so the silence isn't overwhelming or talking about something specific, he'll gladly talk for hours Hantengu stuck to small acts of service beyond just missions, still quite shy about being outright affectionate, so he thought that it was a fitting alternative- it truly helped the two of them interact more, that's for sure Akaza was always there for Muzan emotionally, so he became the shoulder he could cry on if he needed to. Whenever he noticed signs of the master growing anxious, he started implying that they should talk about it between his words. Though he was more reluctant towards affection, comfort was something that never lacked in their interactions Douma started showing his more.. "sadistic" sense of humor- and you may be wondering how this would help- but it was a way of showing that there wasn't a need for a façade when they talked, a way of silently encouraging Muzan to let his guard down too. Besides that, Douma was quite a big fan of spending time with Muzan, being joined by Gyokko every now and then. And while Douma would take him out of his workspace to rest, there was someone else who would take over his work- -That person was none other than Kokushibou. Since he was now aware he wasn't the best at emotionally be there for his master, he'd help ease his burden of work, and at least split it into two, so overworking became unnecessary. Sometimes they would work together, side by side, so that Muzan could have some company, or he would spilt up the work beforehand (not taking any risks) and they would do their work separately Bonus!: Nakime checked in on him more often, not only to see his physical state but his emotional state too. She had never been that good with words, so when their master seemed to need cheering up, she brought in none other than Rui, who always managed to find a way to turn the situation around.

Hi! Recently I've been thinking about Muzan, but what if he's not an actual narcissist like in canon? What if he's kind and gentle (comparable to Tanjirou, if you will). While humans misunderstood demons (resulting in the Demon Slayer Corps(?)), Muzan does his best to keep his demons safe (this made Muzan sort of a father figure to them, and be probably sees them as hus own children (perhaps Kokushibouas a brother. And everytime one of his demons dies, he takes it very hard. He tries not to show it, but his Kizuki's know).
With the demons' and Uppermoon's undying love, respect, and loyalty to their Master, what if he returns to the castle in a panic, injured, bleeding and poison beyond the safe point (they would be confused on how it was possible. He was the most powerful demon, isn't he?) and soon fell into a deep coma?
What would they do and how would they react? I just know that Akaza would be angry and irrational, considering his loyalty to Muzan and perhaps even sees him as a father figure, and he'd probably rather die than loose another parental figure.
I'd be happy to have an angsty start and a good/fluffy ending! It's okay if you don't do this, thank you in advance! Sorry if this does not make sense, cringey, and/or lengthy!
A/N: I'll be honest, this is an interesting idea!! I like it:0 Don't worry, you worded the idea well! :] This turned out quite long, so I hope you enjoy reading it! This will involve the first 6 original uppermoons and also Nakime

Kind!Muzan falling into a coma… what happens next?
Warnings: Manga spoilers (kind of), mentions of death, generally angst- happy ending though Word count: 1025
That night, when the upper moons were suddenly called to the infinity fortress, they were quite surprised- Muzan wasn't even there yet, and yet Nakime was visibly shaken- and it was at that moment, Muzan showed up… though this time he wasn't the strong figure he always was, now injured and poisoned to a point that was surely deadly, even for him- but the upper moons couldn't react fast enough. Before they got to him, he collapsed and fell into a coma, turning into nothing but a ball of flesh and muscle, a last attempt to save himself- and by extent- the other demons. The reactions were… quite extreme. Some where angry- most were, to be fair- And they all showed that in different ways. Akaza wanted to hunt down the person that was responsible for this right, but two uppermoons ranked higher than him managed to keep him there. Kokushibou was angry too, but both him and Douma were wise enough to know that their top priority right now would be to make sure that their master was alright.
But he wasn't.
And when they realized he was unconscious- the anger they felt was halted for a moment- and it sunk in: their master, the one that took them in at their lowest.. was on the verge of death, and they could do nothing. The thought was enough to make their insides turn with rage, both at the ones responsible and at themselves. But they never ended up finding who did it, besides, the only one who knew was Muzan, so answers would have to wait. That's the most they could do.. even if it would be hard for them.
Nakime often was the one who kept an eye on his condition, though the other uppermoons were never too far away. Though she was silent, it was obvious how worried she was, as her hands always trembled slightly, losing the steadiness they once had.
Daki cried whenever the topic of Muzan came up, she became even more emotional than she was before, and it became even easier to irritate her. Thankfully, Gyutaro dealt with it a bit more well- or at least it seemed that way on the outside- because his demeanor didn’t change much, he was at his sister’s side more often though.
Gyokko always seemed more angry than sad, and most of the time, he was in one of his pots. Anger and irrationality are simply the way his sadness manifested though, and to distract himself from it, he started focusing on making new pots constantly, in hopes that if Muzan would wake up again- when he will wake up again, he would compliment at least one of them.
Hantengu already had his emotional problems before this, so the situation truly affected him. He bounced from emotion to emotion quickly, crying one moment and lashing out the next. That being said, he didn’t like interacting with other demons around this time, simply because he preferred to isolate himself. He needed time to process how this could happen to someone as strong as Muzan.
Akaza.. he threw himself into training even more intensely. He would’ve torn apart the walls of the infinity fortress if Nakime hadn’t stopped him. He spent his time either fighting, training or lurking in the shadows to find out who was responsible for this, even if Kokushibou advised him not to. He took it the worst out of all the uppermoons, as he had lost father figures before- and the fact that Muzan was poisoned only brought back painful memories.. if he wasn't out though, he'd be in the infinity fortress, he simply didn't have the strength to leave sometimes..
Douma's reaction was unexpected to most- for the first time in what felt like forever, his smile dropped, and it didn't come back for a while, in front of his fellow demons at least.. Muzan's coma is one of the few conversation topics that would make him silent, because it really made him think, even more than he usually does- so it's a topic that he often avoids. Quite opposite to Akaza, he almost never was around, only there if upper one- now in charge of meetings- called them. He often wondered if what he was feeling was sadness- and it was a bitter conclusion, because it would be the first emotion he had felt in a long, long time..
Kokushibou, the uppermoon one, one who Muzan thought of and treated as a brother.. He quickly understood that for now he was the one in charge, and that as the first uppermoon, he had to show stability. It was all a façade though. He had always been sensitive to emotions of anger and jealousy, and until now, he didn't know sadness would affect him just as much- but it did. Like Akaza, he also was present in the infinity castle, but never around where Muzan now was. He kept himself busy, reading, sharpening his sword skills, giving orders- because he feared if even for one second he allowed himself a break, he'd feel as vulnerable as a human once again.
The day when he woke up though, nobody was there other than Nakime.
The moment she realized he was conscious, the uppermoons were summoned there the next second. And for the first time in a while, they felt at ease, because now they wouldn't have to question if he would wake up.. It was probably the first time ever when they hugged him, but in that moment they couldn't even speak, so there wasn't much else they could do. All of them insisted he shouldn't go outside as much anymore, because now it was clear that someone out there figured out a way to weaken him, and it was only a matter of time until he was targeted again. Though a bit surprised at that moment, Muzan himself felt that if he were to be poisoned again.. him waking up wasn't guaranteed. And if he didn't wake up, then that would mean that the demons would fade away too.. that thought is the one that convinced him to agree.
