I don’t know much about Mansfield Park, I haven’t read all the Austen books, one day! I’m sure there is something out there for it, but none that I can recall.

I agree with the incubator counter argument, my point got the better of me.

I don't like the fact that he fixated on a teenager, but it is not historically inaccurate for a man in his twenties to woo a 15 y/o. As much as historical accuracy is really relevant in a fantasy story.

In my book, Rhaegar is never the gentle prince charming, but the manipulative and narcissistic 'I am the solution to the world's biggest problem' kinda guy, who love bombs a teenager and views women as incubators to his hero children. Also, everything he does, he does to overthrow his father.

I have such big difficulties with continuity these days and it annoys me so much. Not just in how there are at least 5 months between my chapters because the day has only 24 hrs and they often don't include quiet time to myself, but also that there are things I realise I should change in retrospect and now I just want to redo the entire story. Hnnnnnnn.

Don't wait to write. Just start.

Don’t wait until your idea feels “good enough” to start writing. There is no such this as the perfect idea, or the perfect time.

The best stories often begin as messy, uncertain thoughts. Just a note in the margin of a notebook.

Start before you’re ready. The process of writing is how you figure out what you’re really trying to say. Clarity comes through the process, not before it.

When she is betrothed to Jeoffrey and about to follow him South at her father's side, her half-brother has to decide if the Wall is really the place he wants to live and serve for the rest of his life. Everything changes when Bran falls from the tower and is later attacked by an assassin. Jon decides to go South with his father, against his wishes but with Lady Catelyn's permission.

Look, I love the HotD actors, they embody the characters relatively well (the ages are all over the place though) but I just feel like the showrunners missed a huuuge opportunity by not casting any albino actors.

Targaryen designs are very explicitly inspired by albinism (pale skin, white hair, sometimes purpleish eyes) Like it doesn’t get any Targaryen-er than that.

Besides, if they wanted to make Velaryons black, black albino people also exist.
