When a man resorts to calling a woman ugly, he's lost the argument. He knows he's wrong, he knows what he did was wrong, and has no response left other than to go back to grade school taunts in an attempt to hurt. If you criticize someone's behavior, and they default to calling you ugly/fat/slut/cunt/etc... it's because they have nothing left to say.

Casual reminder that in the original Dracula, Dracula was killed by a cowboy with a bowie knife
#dracula#gothic literature#i don't know why this is never included in adaptions because cowboy with a big knife is significantly cooler than a wooden stake or sunligh#and mina was NOT in love with dracula but that's a different post entirely
