STAS: Lois and Superman Discuss Clark's Death
From the excellent episode The Late Mr Kent, while investigating a case of an African American bloke getting wrongly sent to death row for a murder he didn't commit, the real murderer attempts to silence Clark's investigation by trying to kill him with a car bomb on a coastal road (and then stealing Clark's computer from his apartment to dispose of any potential notes he left behind).
Clark heads home to his flat (he still lives there at least until his estate has been sorted), only to Lois there searchin' for clues, leading to possibly the most honest discussion of her relationship with Clark in the entire show...
---
The Late Mr Kent is to be the single best episode in Superman: the Animated Series, even in a show that is often overshadowed by its predecessor Batman: the Animated Series. In all while I still think that overall My Adventures With Superman is the stronger Superman show, it's still a shame that STAS doesn't really get the props it deserves but both this and numerous other great episodes.
Seriously, while BTAS did touch on social issues, such as how in the early 20th century homeless people and migrant workers would be tricked or human trafficked into remote mining, turpentine production etc. operations (often with the backing of local law enforcement) as a form of unpaid labour known as peonage (basically slavery but legally different), the Late Mr Kent is literally about a journalist uncovering that a cop murdered a woman, framed a black guy for the crime, and then uses violence and intimidation to prevent his multiple misdeeds from being uncovered, making it very timely for multiple reasons in the 2020s.

i think the hottest look you can give someone after they commit acts of unspeakable violence is approval. like don’t get me wrong if there’s lust there too that’s great, but staring at someone with gore dripping down their chin and coating their hands to the wrists with undisguised appraisal and admiration. maybe giving them a little nod as if to say ‘well done’. THAT’S what says “yeah we’re gonna fuck nasty later”.

Sweet Dreams - Rora Blue
2020.
“Sweet Dreams explores the intricacies of everyday ableism and everyday ableist comments. Some of the comments recount dialogue said to the artist. Other phrases were submitted by other disabled and/or chronically ill individuals as documentation of comments that have been said to them. Through using recognizable objects associated with disability in correlation with playful colors, Sweet Dreams aims to reclaim objects commonly associated with pain and disrupt the narrative on what it means to be disabled.”

Couple + Sibling/relative third wheel is honestly an S-tier trio dynamic and I wish we saw more of this in media.
