This is awesome. Plus, can you imagine trying to cheat on a 13th-century math test? “hey.... pssst.... what’d you get for number upper-left-horizontal-upper-mid-left-diagonal-right-upper-mid-horizontal?” “I dunno man, I’m still on upper-left-diagonal-upper-left-vertical.” You’d get caught before you finished trying to rattle off what number you wanted the answer for.

Is this blog dead?
Hi there hun! Nope, it’s not dead, I’ve just been on a very long, unexpected, but much-needed hiatus. I’ve been dealing with a lot (depression, grieving, anxiety, illness, dead computer, etc) so haven’t had much time for posting here and have mostly just been writing for therapy, but it’s most certainly on my To-Do list to get back to posting asap and believe me, I have a LOT of content for posting, from BTS to The Walking Dead to Avengers and more. I believe I have about 70 stories that I’ve been eyeing to start posting on here as well as over on AO3, once I get that part figured out (I read the site, but haven’t actively posted there yet, so there’ll be a learning curve). In fact, I just took a break from writing one of them to answer this, and that one’s currently at 48k and I see no end in sight for that one yet (I am way too longwinded....) Long story short, although I don’t know yet *when* I’ll be starting to post again, it is a definite ‘when’ and not an ‘if’. I’ll try to post an update in the next week-ish to let people know exactly what the situation is - if not details on plans, then at least intentions and explanations as to what’s been going on in the World of Min. I’m so sorry for being so absent, and I hope you (and anyone else who may happen to actually still read or follow this blog) can forgive that and bear with me while I find my groove again! Min x

I’m gonna be 100% honest here. I came into the bathroom to cool down from a fever. My inner voice told me to check on one of my fave tumblrs to see if they’ve posted anything new. This was on my dash. I’m now sitting on the toilet seat utterly *crying* with laughter (no exaggeration there. I have literal tears running down my cheeks). The song is amazing, but combine it with the transcript and I guarantee hysterics by chorus 1. I’mma listen again.
so i used something called infinite jukebox to cut out every other beat of this song and
well
here ya go

There are days when I wish I could quadruple-like something. This is one of them.
In honor of my beloved Flower (not her name, but for the sake of her privacy, I use her nickname), I must share this
You know what I love?
silent rebellions.
I mean don’t get me wrong the loud ones are great too but there is something so poetic about the quiet ones.
Like when a kid hides a pride flag in their room or paints their stuff the colors because they know if its not rainbow their parents won’t know what it means.
or when someone hides a binder in their backpack to change into and out of at school, “plus school takes up most of the time I can bind anyway”
The kids that are never deadnamed at school but in front of their family their classmates will never betray them.
The kids that have secret blogs
the kids that have secret lives
because you simply cant live in a world without some of you in it.
Kids that all flock to the one with supportive parents
the kids that sneak out to pride festivals with their friends
the kids that are secretly themselves
the kids that are secretly heroes
and those secret silent rebellions
are fantastic.
So please
Please
keep it up.
The world is so much better with you in it.

I love this.
Then there are the ones who go ‘you know, maybe the reason you’re not getting better is because you’re not sick’
Me: ‘So you’re saying I’m imagining all this excruciating pain? The fact that I can’t breathe when I drink most water, unless I get lucky? My sudden inability to eat peas? My clinically diagnosed milk allergy? The sores in my mouth if I eat beans?’
Her: ‘Well, no, but you’re triggering it because you’re not coping with your depression the right way. You’d be fine if you learned how to deal with that.’
Me: ‘..........I didn’t even have depression until after this stuff appeared. I’m depressed because of it, not vice versa!’
Therapists are just…. Common sense filters

Sometimes, when you’re browsing, you spot something that makes you stop and pause for a moment and think ‘can I help here?’
The kpop community has always been so supportive, and I’m wondering: how supportive are the Marvel community?
I’m stuck working on homework atm, but I intend to try my hand at this before long. I can’t guarantee anything will be posted, as I have my other content to post yet, which got majorly pushed aside by my course, but I want to at least attempt it.
I also want as many other Marvel writers as possible to do so. Let’s get a storm (heh, see what I did there?) of fics, drabbles, etc that meet this request, both for Thor and for any other Avengers/ Marvel characters you can. We need to be more inclusive. There’s the occasional ‘chubby reader’ fic, but they rarely have this kind of ‘it’s okay’ dynamic. They usually just end up with the mains in bed while X makes the reader ‘forget’ they were ever doubting themselves. But what about characters that *sympathise* with the reader, that know how the reader feels and knows heir hurt because they’ve felt it too? Or who just don’t want the reader feeling bad for being like them?
Let’s step in, guys.
An angsty Thor thought
I have an eating disorder. If I feel full, I want to throw up. Many times I have wanted to puke, and all I think of is chubby Thor looking at me with tears in his eyes. He just whispers, "Please don't..."
So I try to fight it, and go on with my day.
If I could write well, I would write a little fic of chubby Thor doing this, and then holding me. Whispering how beautiful I was as I am. How much it hurt him to see me wish I looked liked a movie star. Stuff like that.

Almost this same thing just happened to me, just yesterday. Get ready for blubbering (my own), because it’s a tough one for me right now.
As I write this, I’m soaking in a hot bath at the end of a long, rough day. Not my smartest move, I’ll admit, but I’m taking every precaution to keep my phone safe, as I need the distraction. You see, this weekend was special for two very different reasons, but both came about in similar ways.
I’m currently on my last full day in Pennsylvania - my first time here, and coming down from a dramatic couple of days.
About 5 years ago, possibly 6 or 7 now, in fact, I was attending counselling for depression due to the after effects of bullying and an abusive relationship. As a result of my severe social anxiety, my counselor advised me to try an online game, to ‘meet’ people without the stress of face to face interaction. She suggested Minecraft.
I’d heard of the game, but never played it, and I figured I’d give it a shot. So, I got myself used to the game with some singleplayer worlds, and finally I joined my first server. I was terrified. I’d never played online games with strangers before! The server I was on had a main city that allowed you up to 6 free land plots in the area, so I claimed my first one, built a little house, and realised the one next door was free too. So, I claimed that one and extended onto it.
A couple days later, I found that a giant tower someone had built on the next block was no longer owned and, after checking if it was okay, claimed and began to adapt it. I’d just finished my very first pixel art, on the front of the building, when another player bounced over to me, across the treetops that lined the street.
“Did you make the sign?” he asked.
“Yeah” I answered, not sure what to expect.
“Looks like a pink marshmallow with eyes” he said. I was offended as hell.
We became best friends.
Yesterday, after meeting for the first time in June when he and his fiancee came up to Canada on holiday, I got to be in the town he calls home, while watching as “Best Bird” (equivalent to one of two women sharing the role of Best Man) as they got married. To top it off, at the end of the event, the bride’s best friend and the planner of the wedding came over to tell me that she and I were to sign as the witnesses, the only other big honor I could possibly have hoped for.
That wasn’t the only amazing part, though. The other reason for my excitement, and the reason I’m writing this from my tub, is that I got to share the weekend with my two-year girlfriend, whom I met on a forum, and whom I had met for the first time in person on Thursday.
If I said I was nervous, I’d be lying. I was ‘12 panic attacks in 2 days’ terrified of the whole dang weekend, and have no idea what part scared me most. I do know, however, that it was love at first sight... again. I’ve never felt quite so loved or treasured by someone I dated, and never been treated so much like a queen. I’m talking massages, feeding me at the wedding because I was tired, cuddles when I started having an attack, random hugs and kisses anytime, anywhere...
My only sadness is that it’s over, and I’ve spent the day crying because I missed her, only aggravated when she called me when she had a layover on the way home. We plan to see each other again as soon as we can, and my new ‘sister in law’ is taking me to the airport tomorrow, so those will be my consolation.
Just remember: these stories aren’t always fairy tales and fluff fleshed out for the ‘papers’. They can and do happen ❤️

New Sideblogs
For Anyone who wants to participate in something similar to @ahgaseloveletters, but for ARMY or general Kpop, I now have two sideblogs for that very purpose!
@kpoploveletters is modelled after their blog (using the same guidelines, with their permission), but devoted to *ALL* fandoms. You can post to your fellow Shawols or send a message from Sones to Blinks!
@btsarmyloveletters is the same, but specifically for the ARMY fandom.
Please bear in mind these are sideblogs, so will have the same functionality as any sideblog, as reflected in the guidelines

Positivity
Okay, so, after multiple attempts, for some reason that post I was warning you guys about? It just won’t post. I’ve written it out multiple times and every time, the post doesn’t come up, so I think that’s a sign that it’s time to make some changes in my life.
I’ve been feeling for a while that there’s just too dang much negativity in the world. Racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, all of these different terms devoted solely to types of hatred, but what about love? Kindness? How many words are there that mean types of kindness? I can only think of that one word. There are offshoots of it - generosity, compassion, sympathy, but none that define different versions.
The Kpop world doesn’t need that.
We have our fandoms, sure, but in the end, we’re fans of groups that are all trying to spread the same messages: Love yourself. Love each other. You’re perfect. You’re good. Po. Si. Ti. Vi. Ty. Five little syllables that build up one immensely vast word. I’ve decided that I’m not going to perpetuate negativity anymore.
You wanna tell people to be ashamed of their kinks or their preferences or their gender identity or whatever? No. Keep your negative opinions to yourself. Don’t drag people down.
So I’ve decided something.
With the blessing of another blog, @ahgaseloveletters, I’m going to be emulating their blog, not once, but twice. There will be an ARMY one, which I’m making partly because that’s my primary fandom and partly because there isn’t one and I’m sick of seeing the negativity that abounds in this fandom without any real attempt to combat it besides additional negativity. There will also be an all-fandom one. That one will basically welcome members of all fandoms to share their appreciation, of their groups, but more importantly, of themselves and each other.
These will be side-blogs, sadly, but I may make them into independent ones if they’re popular at all. I’m setting the blogs up tonight, but they will be very basic to start off with, as I want to format them properly, which will take time. For now, they will be basic bi...logs (couldn’t resist), with the same rules as ahgaseloveletters’ blog, but relevant to the particular blogs, and I’ll be creating some graphics in the days/ weeks to come.
I’m also in the process of creating a particular project that I hope you’ll all enjoy and perhaps participate in, because it’s part of a course I’m taking, and that I hope will eventually become my actual business. I can’t give away too much as yet, since it’s early days still, but that’s the reason for my delay in posting The Interloper. Most of my nights have been taken up with my web design course, so I tend to be a little cross-eyed by the time I come to actually proofread, and I don’t want to post some dumb mistakes as I have in the past. I’m also still dubious about one aspect that I dunno if I wanna change, so if anyone wants their brains picked about it, hit me up and I’ll run it by you to see if I should or not.
Also, to the lovely person who sent me an ask about their story they’re working on, the answer is absolutely yes, and as soon as I can get the dang browser to stop crashing, I’ll answer the ask properly XD
ANYWAY!
That being said, look out for another post very, very soon with the links to the new side-blogs, and if you take a look and like em, please let me know if you think I should make them fully independent blogs.
I love you guys!
PS - If anyone wants an assignment, here’s one for you: go to your fave writing blog, regardless of fandom, kpop or not, and give them feedback, in an ask, about why you like their work. Most importantly, do not do this anonymously. Let them see it’s you. There’s a reason for this: anonymous asks are awesome, don’t get me wrong, but there’s no face. Positivity without a face attached is like a meal without salt. Sure, it could be really great, but without salt, there’s just one dynamic missing. Being able to see who’s sent you a positive response can mean so much because you can go to their blog and learn their personality and see just why you merited that feedback from them. I’ve had some amazingly positive comments and asks, but one that stands out for me is from a year or so back when a fellow blogger said they liked their writing. I went on their blog and I was like ‘this person likes MY writing? But they’re so good!’. Major ego boost. Go boost some egos, my little birdies!

Upcoming Reblog Content Warning
This is a heads-up to anyone reading my blog. The post I’ll be posting after this is a reblog of an ask on another blog that majorly triggered me. Now, this is no hate to that blogger, because it’s not their fault who says what to them, so noone get all cranky at her for her own post. This is about the anonymous ask she received.
I will warn everyone. You’re about to see, in that post, a side of me I rarely let out, because I don’t believe in spreading rage or anger. There’s enough of that out there, but this particular instance, I think, is justified.
(please note that I will be giving at least 24 hours before I post, to allow people to see this first, so they’re aware of what to expect)
Slight trigger warning for content below the cut. (regards violence etc)
There were some things said by that anon that should never be said to someone who is a victim of assault of any kind, but especially sexual, because we suffer enough of that thinking brought on by our own brains, never mind someone else saying it to us. The post I will be putting up after this is about that, and while I don’t normally get triggered, this particular case did so. Badly. You’ll see why when you read it, should you choose to do so.
If you don’t choose to, I completely understand, and hold nothing against you. Sometimes hearing about that kind of thing can be too much, whether you’ve been through it or not, and I would never say someone ‘should’ read something about abuse, only recommend its value if it holds it.

Visual novels?
So, I have an unusual question for you guys:
Who likes otome/ visual novels? Specifically mobile ones for iOS. I don’t mean those ‘raise your intellect to have a better chance with X person by spending 2 weeks grinding to get 1 point’ type ones, but the ones when you select conversation/ action options to progress with the story.
I like to play/ read (which would you class it as?) them when I need to get into a certain mindset, or destress, and I’m finding that most are ones where you have to pay for tickets/ potions/ energy, and that’d mount up *fast*. I’d much prefer ones like you get on Steam where you buy the full game and don’t have to pay for every different chapter. I think Amnesia is one that’s like that, and Hakuoki, but those are about the only ones I know.
Anyone have any recommendations?
I’m not a massive fan of those ‘you meet an undercover prince and have to marry him’ that there are about 50 different versions of, but if they’re really, really good, I’d consider em.

Can I ask you some writing advice? I am writing a fic where BigHit hires a woman to keep the boys company *wink wink* and I want to know if I should start it before or after they hire her. I currently have some material written from before she is hired, but I could just start it after the hiring process. Any advice?
First, let me say that I’m honored you’d ask for my advice. Truly.
Second, I’m actually working on something similar too, though not quite the *wink wink* style lol, so it’ll be fascinating to see how similar/ different our directions are ^_^ (also, for anyone reading this, if you ever decide to re-use one of my ideas, I keel you... XD I kid, I just like Jeff Dunham, literally the only puppets I’m not scared of. For reals though, for anyone who decides they want to use an idea from a story of mine, I literally just ask that you tag me/ message me/ send me an ask, not so much for permission, but A) to credit where possible/ relevant and B) so I can see what *you* do with the idea, because I love seeing different thought processes on the same concept).
Third, and finally relevant (I know, I babble): I think it all depends on your personal writing style. For me, I tend to do backstories as a memory or inner monologue, but that doesn’t work for everyone. Some are far better at writing it as a timeline, starting at the beginning of the story, whereas I’m odd and tend to feel more comfortable starting in the middle.
I feel like it may be best for you to have a think about the storyline and see how much of the pre-hiring timeline you can envision and how much of it you feel is relevant. It could be that that’s a vital part of the story and you feel it so. If that’s the case, I’d say starting there is probably wise. If you can put yourself in her shoes and only see little glimpses of that time period, it might work better as flashbacks/ memories, with the story starting after hiring. In mine, for example, the time prior to hiring is pretty much irrelevant, so I just started it at a point sometime after, with a brief mention of how she ended up in the situation she’s in, but that’s her story, not your character’s, and every OC is their own person.
I hope that’s of some help, and I’m sorry if this took a while to answer. I only just saw it by accident so I don’t know when it arrived, if it was today or a while ago.

So, someone commented on this reblognanza (it’s a word. Don’t look it up, just trust me) saying the last time they met a bat ‘it was not licking their hand’ and it reminded me of the first time I met a bat. Or to be more precise, many, many bats. I was at a museum several years ago and someone came into the gift shop and said to come outside. We all went out and round to the side of the building, where we found the side door....or at least what was once the side door and was now a fuzzy brown blanket. The entire dang thing was covered in bats. Don’t ask me how they weren’t just on the frame, I can only assume some were literally hanging from other bats, but there was literally only a small, roughly hand-sized area of the orange-painted metal showing between the mass of flying fuzzies. It was adorable really, because there were about 20 hoomans standing there and the bats were clearly aware of us, but didn’t fly off, so they evidently didn’t see us as a threat. I’d have been worried for their safety because of being so docile, but this museum was in the middle of just about nowhere, so their ability to escape any threat was pretty much guaranteed, and apparently it was a common occurrence. They’d just decided ‘hey, this really shallow orange cave is a good place to sleep.’
Yep, I love bats. I would have a bat if I could. Or a hedgehog.

Rec request
Anyone have any recommendations for blogs for kpop and/or Marvel fiction, especially reactions? Feeling super depressed this evening so I wanna read something to either cheer me up, let me wallow, or distract me, so I’m basically looking for anything that fits any of the criteria below (bonus points if it meets multiple).
Can be single posts/ series or whole blogs btw.
Genre
Angst (nothing about death or illness unless reactions)
Smut
Slight Fluff (not overly fluffy, I kinda feel like that’d be veering into dangerous territory
Crack
Action
Theme/ Subject
Kpop
BTS
Got7
Exo
(I will gladly accept recommendations for any groups though, although I do tend to prefer reading from a female/ neutral reader/ unnamed OC about male groups/ artists)
Kdrama - Many different actors, and stuff drawn from/ inspired by series
Marvel - pretty much any Avengers or those associated with them, though again, female reader/ unnamed OC, male characters are best. Fave characters are Loki, Bucky, Logan and Hawkeye, in no particular order.
Style
Reaction
One-shot/ scenario/ imagine
Drabble
Not much into series unless they’re incredible. I lose interest too easily (translation: I have the attention span of a gnat)
Thankye all!
