I wanted to try my hand at making an oc from random colors I pulled from my pencil box, since I haven’t made one in a really long time. This is Silver Skies, aka Silver/Silv. She’s an astronomer by trade, she likes to spend long hours with her telescope making charts of the stars. Since I’m still pretty attached to G4’s lore, she’s a student at the School for Gifted Unicorns, and makes her way up to being the official Royal Astronomer by the time Twilight takes over.

A doodle of a fully powered-up alicorn Twilight! I like to think her hair flows and sparkles like Luna’s or Celestia, and she’s toll. Sometimes her friends swear they can see her cutie mark twinkling like stars.

Luna kirin! Isnt she adorable? I might have gone a bit crazy on the black markings, but I think that’s a really cool trait luna has that should be showed in fanart more often! Im totally of the opinion that the black is part of luna’s coloration, and her cutie mark is just the moon

G1 second set twinkle-eyed ponies! I headcanon that their eye gems give them special powers unique to them. Extensive headcanons under the cut 

Mimic:

 She can use her golden horseshoes to grant wishes. She can also change her coat and mane color to mimic any pony she has seen! She can change her voice as well. The horseshoes help her contain this power and control it. Whenever she changes, the gem in her eye stays the same, so you can tell it’s her if you know where to look.

Quackers:

 She can talk to birds of any type, but she gets along best with ducks. They often come to her with problems hoping she can fix them. She’s incredibly kind and gentle, acting like a mother to all. Her eye gems can detect animals in need, and allow her to see through objects to quickly identify the problem.

Locket:

  She’s known for keeping secrets. Ponies come to her to have someone to confide in, knowing that she won’t tell anyone else. Whenever someone tells her a secret, she’ll turn her body to expose her symbol, wink, and say “I’ll keep this under lock and key”. Whenever she does this, her eye gem will sparkle, and her keys on her symbol glow. She’s very beautiful, and is dating Tic Tac Toe.

Tic Tac Toe:

 She’s a very silly pony, and loves to play games, her favorite obviously being tic tac toe. She knows secrets weigh on Locket’s heart, so she’s always acting silly to take her mind off of it. She isn’t beautiful by pony standards like Locket, but her sparking personality more than makes up for it.

Speedy:

 Speedy loves roller skating! Nothing makes her feel more alive than going as fast as she can, weaving around other ponies and object. Her eye gem allows her to see things at a faster rate than other ponies, so she doesn’t hit anything! She’s best friends with Bright Eyes.

Bright Eyes:

 She loves to run as fast as she can, allowing her to keep up with Speedy. She’s constantly looking in all directions, taking in every detail. Her eye gems help her process all the information she sees, and she never forgets something once she notices it. She talks incredibly fast, making her hard to understand. She became friends with Speedy because she’s the only pony who can keep up with her thought process.
