Diving into the Real World
Tumblr media
If there's one thing I really appreciated being in our school is that they are abke to let us experience what it's like to be in the real world. Being in senior high school, we may take things for granted and laugh everything out, this may be us just being "kids" and enjoying every moment while it lasts. Although, this also reminds us that things will never be the same once we step into adult hood. Just earlier we had our mock job interview for one of our subjects. I was nervous and excited at the same time knowing that in the future I'll be experiencing that once I apply for a job. It went well, though I was stutyering at times all I could do after was sigh in relief. This will be another one of those days that will remind me that in life, it's ok not to take everything seriously because at the end of the day, were making the most of our life.

" Monday Again "
Tumblr media
Monday is here again, literally the fay of the week I despise the most. Well I have no vhoice but to enjoy the next few days because we have less than one month until our graduation. We started by working on our hydroponics project, carefully preparing the parts we need and ensuring that everything was running smoothly. It was exciting to see our progress and how much we've learned throughout the process. After that, we took the time to inquire about our research, gathering the necessary information and clarifying important details to keep our work on track. Condering that we wilk be having our final defense by the end of the month.
To wrap up the day, we had a crucial meeting in preparation for the RSPC at Tadian, Mountain Province. The discussion was filled with the schedule of our competition including the dates on when we will be going there. Overall, it was a day well spent, filled with productivity and anticipation for what's ahead!

Typical Sunday
Tumblr media
Sundays are often seen as a day of rest—a time to unwind and recharge before a new week begins. But for me, this Sunday was a mix of productivity, creativity, and personal growth. The morning started with something that many of us might not enjoy but is absolutely necessary—house chores. There’s something oddly satisfying about tidying up, organizing things, and making the living space feel fresh. House chores may seem mundane, but they have a way of setting the tone for the day.
Once everything was in order, it was time to focus on something equally important. I sat down to create my Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Cover Letter, which felt like a deep dive into my own professional journey. Sundays don’t always have to be about lounging around (though that’s important sometimes too). They can also be about growth, about setting the foundation for the week ahead.

Embracing Challenges: A Grade 12 Student's Journey Through Competitions
There's something exhilarating about entering a competition, whether it’s academic, athletic, or artistic. The anticipation, the preparation, and the energy of the event itself create an environment that pushes me to perform my best. For me, participating in competitions has taught me how to set goals and work diligently to achieve them. Competing has not only helped me hone specific skills but has also increased my self-discipline, focus, and resilience.
Tumblr media
Just participated in another competition earlier, it took me a week to learn and review all the lessons about chemistry which were all advanced so I had a hard time understanding some concepts. The competition started very early in the morning and ended at 5 o'clock , sadly I wasn't able to participate in our event today which is the family day, though I ate with some of my friends since my parents weren't able to attend, I felt lucky to be with people who are there to support me. Being a Grade 12 student and competing in various competitions has been an exciting and transformative experience. It has pushed me to explore new interests, improve my time management, build confidence, and overcome fears of failure. The lessons learned and memories made through these experiences will continue to shape me long after I leave high school.

Ink has dried, Realizing there's no more ''excused daw po sa mga journalists"
After 6 years since the last time that I was able to participate in the Regionals Schools Press Conferences, it's still a shock to me that we are one to represent Baguio City for the RSPC at Tadian, Mountain Province for Radio Broadcasting-Filipino. Really thought that considering it's my last DSPC for high school, who would've thought that we made it as a team and won as champions during the DSPC.
Tumblr media
Being a journalist is no joke, with the trainings during class days, no matter how brightly you shine on a stadium with a trophy on hand or a medal on your neck, none of it changes the fact that academic expectations remain unchanged, that exams won’t wait for your press conferences, and that, in the end, talent and trophies won’t replace the grades you need to move forward.
For the past few years of participating the DSPC, i've grown to learn that every loss is an opportunity to grow , learn from mistakes, and come back stronger. This is a reminder that success is built on perseverance, and even the best journalists or writers have faced setbacks. Instead of being sad of defeats, use it as a motivation to improve and strive for more in the future.
