02.19.2017 - {Story Time} 6:47 P.M.
He asked me what time it was. I pulled my phone out of my purse, tapped on the “home” button, and read the time. “6:47.” He smiled, his brown eyes crinkling at the edges, and thanked me before returning to his meal.
Have you ever fallen in love with a complete stranger while in public? Perhaps it was his smile or her vibrant eyes that drew you in; nevertheless, these rushes of feelings are spontaneous, and they leave you with a stupid grin and a numbing sensation.
That happened to me a couple days ago, and the moment was over in a blink of an eye. Yet, here I am today, still thinking about the guy who seemed to be in his mid-twenties, and the richness of his voice and a kind, pearly smile on his smooth, tan face. If the story was to be retold from my perspective, elaborate embellishments would be tacked onto it, like a sparkly Christmas tree or a cheesy romance novel, but in plain summary: the guy sat at the table next to my family with his order of a strawberry napoleon dessert, turkey sandwich, salad, and tomato soup for his bread (I swear, I’m not that crazy for memorizing these details). He would sneak glances at me, and I would do the same when he was not paying attention. It was fun because my parents, who were accompanying me during that lunch hour, did not notice. Anyways, we finished our food first and were packing our belongings, when the guy caught my eye and quickly rambled, “Excuse me, can you tell me what time it is?” I was initially taken aback by the unexpectedness but nonchalantly unzipped my bag and slipped my phone out. The entire time I kept chanting, Please don’t blush; please don’t start sweating; please don’t start shaking, hands. I then replied, “6:47,” with a sweet tenderness in my voice.
That was it. The. End.
But why am I still thinking about that scenario? Why do I still feel giddy like a toddler with candy? My heart quickly pulsates as his imagery appears in my mind and- Ughhh.

This is too positive and optimistic for me, but I still love this quote.

02.08.2017 - 10 Facts About Me
Favorite song: “Bad Things” by Machine Gun Kelly ft. Camila Cabello. Even though this song came out late 2016, I am still in love with how well their vocals match, how catchy it is, and the feeling it gives me (strangely happy and turned on?). The best lyrics of the song are, “Okay, yeah I’m insane. But you’re the same...” and “I want you forever, even when we’re not together. Scars on my body, so I can take you wherever...” It just brings out another sexy aspect of romance and relationships.
Favorite TV show: “Shameless” on Showtime and Netflix. Six seasons are currently out, but I am only on Season 2, Episode 9. I don’t have a favorite character because they are all special in their own way, but I have got to say: Karen, Sheila, and Jody are really annoying me.
Like the title of this post states, I will now present ten basic facts about me!
I hate spoilers. There is a study that claims people tend to favor spoilers because everything falls into place and becomes controlled and predictable. N-O-P-E. Not for me! I enjoy the suspense, thrill, surprise, plot twists. I don’t want to know if a character dies or ends up with the protagonist or antagonist. Fangirl with me only on parts I have seen/read.
I love Korean everything. I have heard it all before: “Why are you into that if you cannot even understand what they are saying?” Well, I need you to sit down because their shit is perfect. I learn new things about their culture and language every time I watch an episode of a drama or listen to a song. They make me happy because of their cuteness and talent and looks (hot damn). Their fashion is amazing with men in an urban-style attire and women in conservative yet feminine or sporty and outgoing outfits. The skincare and makeup quality is impeccable.
I love the color blue. All shades of blue because I do not discriminate.
I named my dog after my favorite drink. Don’t judge me.
I am an ambivert. It depends on my mood and surroundings because I love socializing with strangers or anyone who does not go to the same school as me, but when I am at school, I do not really talk. My personality is not compatible with any of my classmates, but we all share mutual respect and general liking of one another.
I am straight. While I am not “part” of it per se, I love and support the LGBT+ community. I do like to look at pretty female strangers in public, but my main focus is on their makeup - flawless blending of foundation, eyebrow shape, eye makeup, lipstick, highlight, contour. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to also watch beauty videos on YouTube, despite not wearing much makeup myself and being broke as fuck.
I hate cigarettes. Nothing against smokers themselves, but I cannot stand the smell. Also, it causes cancer, premature aging, and... I think I am missing something. Oh, yeah, death. More information can be found here: Health Effects of Cigarette Smoking.
Tea over coffee. I love coffee, but tea is my go-to beverage because it is much healthier - tons of sugar and creamer in my cafe - for my sensitive body. It helps me concentrate and fuels my energy.
Dogs over cats. Because I love my bitches.
Disney’s Tangled is my all-time favorite movie. I cannot speak about Flynn Rider or Eugene Fitzherbert without sobbing because he is the ideal man for me. Why. Is. He. FICTION??!!??!?? I need you in my life.
That’s all. x

12.05.16 - Pleased to Meet You
Favorite dog breeds: Schnauzers and Jack Russell Terriers.
Favorite dish: Buffalo wings! The hotter, the better. The stickier, the better.
Wow, okay. I finally geared myself up for the challenge of posting my personal opinions and beliefs online. We all know more and more people are increasingly sensitive to everything, for who knows what reasons.
First and foremost, this is going to be my new layout for every post from now on; I will let you know a couple of my current favorites to keep y’all informed about my interests and opinions.
Secondly, I want to treat this blog as an advice column with tips on surviving high school and the drama of friendships & relationships, preparing for college, and becoming the best person one can be.
Lastly, this blog will serve as an online, personal journal. Informing the world of the experiences I have gone through - whether it is the good, the bad, or the ugly - is scary, but I am taking this risk because there are people who need to take their minds off of the problems occurring in their lives, know they are not alone, or waste time. Perhaps, when you read my posts, you can learn from my mistakes because I make plenty of them.
I believe my blog will help tremendously, especially since I am going through this journey alongside most of you. It is my space to spew thoughts out and be free, and your space to ask questions.
That’s all. x
