I started working on Sanguine again, at least a bit. The script doc hadn't been opened since June? Of last year?? And it's April??? Ugh.

I just want it written out at the very least, like if I died, someone could publish the script to give closure for the five ppl that still want it

Prompt 5-6 is Fairy Forest - this is the Queen of the Fairies from Legend of Zelda; Wind Waker!

When she's done talking to you, she flops over like a puppet with its strings cut. I like the theory that her real form is a goddess, and her little child form was made to match Link in that game.

On a whim I'm catching up with the Spooky Spring Art Party - prompt 1-2 is "Magic" and I wanted to draw something hwfwm!

It's that moment when Jason is considering using the dark essence and the awakening stone of the stars. Looking it up, I was surprised the essence cube was described as about 15cm! I thought they were like the size of a rubix cube for some reason. And the awakening stone was "fist sized" which is pretty relative but still a bit bigger than my original mental image.

Either way, I like how it turned out. First finished drawing in a while ^^;

Sorry I couldn't do the HWFWM fanart stream I wanted to do on Monday, I still had to wrap up stuff for the festival I was drawing at and then I got sick >w>;

Maybe its because I'm sick but I don't care that it's not glazed. I am so TIRED about fretting about posting art online. I don't feel particularly welcome on the internet as an artist anymore, but I still wanna make n share stuff, you know?

Late Happy Valentines with my characters Minerva and Glass! I love their dynamic. Like how Minerva generally has a grumpy rbf, but Glass can always make her smile.

I haven't had a lot of time for my own art recently - most of this was drawn almost two weeks back ^^; maybe it's poor time management, maybe it's the political hellscape, maybe I've just been busy?? Whatever.

I know it's not excluded in the term fic, but just wanted to say specifically this goes for comic creators too.

Many canvas comics on webtoons are made entirely by a single person, like me and my Sanguine: Monster Magical Girl. The one downside is webtoons doesn't give any kind of notification to a creator when new comments are made >_>; But when my brain was working, comments were a big fuel to my fire.

BTW i see these posts all the time like "ohhh i dont know what to comment on fics.." and every response is "keysmashes! or hearts!! anything works :3" and thats GREAT!! thats helpful!!

but: consider. if u genuinely like analyzing writing.. do u know ur just allowed to go through and quote your favorite parts and ramble abt what they mean to u and the author will LOSE IT WITH HYPE?

genuinely. i felt SO WEIRD the first time i did it.. but like. holy shit authors love it. its crack for authors. the first time i did it, it was on a fic that hadnt updated in half a year, give or take, and the author made 3 updates that month BECAUSE OF MY COMMENT.

LIKE. as an author every comment is INCREDIBLE!!! but also, dont feel like your comment has to be short or otherwise ur invasive or smth!! authors ADORE long comments more than ANYTHING.

It looked like half of a...mannequin? Made of glass? But it was full of - I don't know - and there were so many of them...!

I started a drawing stream with "Jellyfish Guts", so it was a jellyfish bell with human organs hanging out or this 🪼 It's glass bc I wanted it to be see through to show it didn't have a brain, like a jellyfish. Might revisit with more references later, just some good fun spooky art.

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game
